Sultan Qaboos Mosque Salalah

It was the very wonderfull experience in Sultan Qaboos Mosque Salalah. I just reached Salalah one night before then we offered the Eid Prayer. Tge Mosque was full due to people came for Salah. First time in my life I noticed the ladies are also coming for eid prayer. We got the place for prayer in garden area. The Mosque was designed out class i missed the chance to go inside the Mosque but people said it is very wonderfull from inside also. Must visit.

The biggest mosque in the city. Always open for prayer and closes after Eshaa prayer. The ladies hall is big and clean with toilets and places for ablution (وضوء). There is also 2 internal screens that show inside the mosque, men hall, to women. It’s well maintained and smells good due to incense all the time.

This is the main Jame mosque in Salalah and presents a blend of traditional Arab architecture with elegant modern influences. It is spacious and clean with plenty of parking spots. Its open all day in case somebody wants to pray or visit and reflect.

One of the most beautiful Mosques I’ve ever visited.

However, it’s important to note that modest attire is required to enter the mosque. Women must wear full-cover clothing and a headscarf, while men should also dress appropriately. This dress code allows visitors to fully appreciate the beauty of the mosque's interior while respecting its sacred atmosphere. Overall, this mosque is a perfect blend of cultural and spiritual enrichment.
