Sultana Mediterranean

Had a great Friday night dinner at Sultana ✨ The place was busy because there was a private event in the side hall, but we were seated without waiting in line. We ordered the adana kebab, the pomegranate kebab, and babaganush as a starter, along with ayran to drink. Everything was flavorful, but I especially recommend the pomegranate kebab if you enjoy a sweet and sour combination. It’s layered with spinach, topped with pomegranate seeds, and served over yogurt with pomegranate sauce, absolutely delicious. Definitely a dish I would come back for. 🍽️ After dinner, you can take a walk along Santa Cruz Avenue, which has a lively vibe with lots of restaurants and stores.

Ambience and staffs both were great. I still don’t understand why this place does not have waiting line like others. Definitely underrated. We tried a Turkish wine that we have become fan of. Food was just amazing. Just try anything you will love it. Perfectly cooked. I am not Turkish but when I went Turkey I became fan of their food and quality and since then I have been looking for an authentic Turkish place like this.

Food is incredible and so filling. Highly recommend the salmon and shrimp kebabs. My friend Sam chose this place and we had a great time! There’s tons of indoor seating, and the restaurant vibe is great for friends or families. It can get a bit loud if you’re going at a peak time. They bring pita out in the beginning (free app). Service is quick and servers are friendly/kind. There’s parking in the back. What else could you ask for?

I got the pomegranate kabab, and it was very well made — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of spice and tang. The pomegranate added a nice brightness that set it apart from the usual kabab flavor profile. It felt fresh and carefully prepared, and every bite was satisfying. If you’re into kababs with a bit of unique seasoning and great execution, this one’s definitely worth trying.

We used to visit Sultana a lot during Covid as you could sit outside in a tent next to the parking lot. Had lunch here after a long time and we ordered 3 appetizers to share. The Falafel plate which came with Hummus . The falafel a were a bit dry. The Spanakopita was two large ones but they were not crisp slightly soggy. The feta rolls were crisp but needed more stuffing. The Turkish coffee was cold, but can with 3 small Turkish delights. We also ordered a Kunafeh which was hot, crispy and cheesy and excellent

I had dinner with my husband this evening. The food and service were excellent. Both of us agreed that this was one of the best Mediterranean food we had thus far. Everything from the hummus, pomegranate salad, chicken curry and the lamb kebab to the rice and vegetables were flavorful and so well seasoned. The lamb kebab was grilled to perfection and the portion size was great. Thank you for preparing such a great meal. We highly recommend this restaurant!!

Nice quaint place for dinner. It doesnt get crowded which is good! Portions were big, the highlight was the lamb skewers. Some dips could have been better and the spanakopita was a bit thin. Overall would come back! Great service too.

Sweet & cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Excellent service! The staff were courteous, polite and very attentive. Water was always filled! Their Spanakopita was amazing. The feta rolls were ok, came out almost room temp but pretty good. The bread they serve is also quite delicious. The Musaka was bland sadly. The chicken kabobs were juicy but needed a bit more seasoning. I would order that again. They were kind enough to change my rice to Quinoa. The rice was actually quite good! The place is nice for gatherings and plenty of parking spaces! They also have an outdoor area in case you have doggies. Will return for the other dishes. I still recommend this place, just need a little more tweaking on the food seasoning.
