Sumenep Palace Museum

Pay 20k Rp at Loket across the road from the entry. An old Palace grounds. Just walk around freely no map or guides. Historic items displayed in glass cabinets in one area. Swords, knifes, batik fabrics etc. Chariots, statues aroound. Kraton palace with its fancy chairs, Grandfather clocks, Art pictures, Gamelan music instruments.

Kraton Sumenep is the residence of the regent of Sumenep on the Indonesian island of Madura. It was built in the 18th century by Panembahan Sumolo, the son of Queen Raden Ayu Tirto-negoro and her spouse, Bendoro Saud who was a commoner descendant of Muslim scholars.

A great museum. You can learn a lot about history of Sumenep kingdom and its legacy. Very kind tour guide and very cheap (you just need to spend about 5k rupiah to enter the museum). The collection is the original one.

Historic place with decent number of artifacts and displays.

Great museum to get into depth about Sumenep Palace, including its history, weapons, and arts. In addition, there is a Taman Sare where it used to be a place to shower for kingdom's members. However, nowadays it is only a giant fish ponds. Don't forget to bring fish food to feed them 😂. The ticket price is fairly cheap!
