Summerfields Rose Retreat & Spa

We had a wonderful stay in the stonehouse with our family. The house offers all privacy and everthing you need. The spa on the river was fantastic and the chef is even better than the chefs in the 5 star safari lodges. We loved every moment an will come back.

Summerfields is unreal! Truly a luxury forest paradise nestled alongside the Sabie river. Every tiny detail thought out to ensure you feel like a king/queen. The food is very high quality and delicious. The spa treatments were spectacular - we had the couple spa package and it's possible we touched heaven. The therapist are phenomenal at what they do highly recommend. The most magical 3 nights sleep. And everyone was so lovely. They were there if you needed anything but we appreciated that they left us to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back!

I had an amazing stay in a beautiful, secluded location tucked away in the bundus. It’s the perfect hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature. The sound of the running water adds a peaceful touch to the serene surroundings, and the rooms were absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing getaway!||

We were 10 adults and 1 two-year old in April 2025 who stayed at the Villa. |From the guards at the gate, to the check-in staff, the manager of the villa (Sean), the amazing staff at the restaurant (Venicia and colleagues), knowledgeable Sarah at the padstaal and the GM (Blessing) we were never once met with a dour face or an unfriendly attitude. There was nothing too hard or too demanding for this outstanding and winning team. We travel fairly regularly - and this team is by far among the best. I loved it! It is a magical place with the stream running below your tent at night, and that bath, wow!! It was freezing at night but they had electric blankets so that solved that issue. My only complaint is that the restaurant is daylight robbery. Extremely expensive and guests without cars have to eat there. The restaurant is in a beautiful glass house.

We stayed for two nights at the villa in Summerfields. ||What a beautiful house and location. The house is fantastic. The restaurant and bar lay beatiful on the riverside.

A 5 above 5 stars. From the Service, the staff is amazing and helpful. The food is beyond delicious. The rooms/ tent 😍😍. We are definitely coming back.

What a great few days we had here. Enjoyed the views, our facility, the people and the restaurant (breakfast/diner). Environment was perfect after some intensive days before.
