Summer's Ice Cream

We came here specially for the free American Express Tote Bag promotion in the Yorkville area. My 8 year old daughter wasn’t sure which flavour she wanted and was able to sample two different flavours before making a decision. We both ordered the Mango Raspberry Sorbet. It tasted pretty good. We enjoyed it. My wife ordered the matcha flavoured ice cream and said it was the best one she’s had ever. The tote bag we received was pretty neat as well. The person who served us purposely looked for the tote bag to give to us. Overall, the next time we’re in the area and feel like ice cream, we will come back.

Great classic ice cream place with lots of flavors to choose from. It’s down the stairs so not accessible. There’s also only outside seating. They have some washrooms in the back. Lineups may be long but service is quick. You pick your ice cream first then pay. They’re famous for their great smelling waffle cone that you get free of charge if you pick a single or double scoop. It’s a bit pricey but the scoops are generous. Great flavors.

Stopped by for ice cream and loved it. The flavors were smooth and not too sweet, and the waffle cone was perfect. The shop has a cozy atmosphere and the staff were kind. I’d happily return to try more flavors.

You can tell they care about customer service and keeping the good vibes going. Everyone was smiling and helpful, even though the place got a bit busy while we were there. The shop itself is quite small, with limited indoor seating. It might not be ideal if you’re looking to sit down inside with a large group, but honestly, Yorkville is such a beautiful area that it’s actually better to grab your ice cream and take a walk around. The vibe outside is amazing, perfect for a summer stroll or just enjoying the neighborhood atmosphere. If I had one suggestion, it would be to update the interior design a bit. While it’s still clean and pleasant, it doesn’t quite match the upscale and stylish look of some of the surrounding Yorkville shops and cafes. That said, the ice cream more than makes up for it. All in all, highly recommend! Great for families, casual dates, or just a solo sweet treat on a hot day.

Homemade waffle cone is remarkably good wow. Choco fudge brownie on a waffle cone was one of the best ice cream experiences I’ve had. Also, just really high quality service from EEJay— he takes his work super seriously and is just a great vibes guy.

I recently visited Summer Ice Cream Shop and tried two scoops Paralian Cream and Butterscotch. The flavors were quite unique and had an ambitious twist. The Paralian Cream was smooth and creamy, while the Butterscotch added a rich, nostalgic sweetness. Overall, it was an interesting and memorable combination. When you are in Toronto! A must visit place to suffice your ice cream cravings! Not many places have good sorbet’s option! But this place has one of the best seasonal sorbet option! Moreover the street itself is one of the most beautiful street at night! Must must go once for sure! 🫶🏻✨
