We came here specially for the free American Express Tote Bag promotion in the Yorkville area. My 8 year old daughter wasn’t sure which flavour she wanted and was able to sample two different flavours before making a decision. We both ordered the Mango Raspberry Sorbet. It tasted pretty good. We enjoyed it. My wife ordered the matcha flavoured ice cream and said it was the best one she’s had ever. The tote bag we received was pretty neat as well. The person who served us purposely looked for the tote bag to give to us. Overall, the next time we’re in the area and feel like ice cream, we will come back.

Great classic ice cream place with lots of flavors to choose from. It’s down the stairs so not accessible. There’s also only outside seating. They have some washrooms in the back. Lineups may be long but service is quick. You pick your ice cream first then pay. They’re famous for their great smelling waffle cone that you get free of charge if you pick a single or double scoop. It’s a bit pricey but the scoops are generous. Great flavors.

We had a great experience at Summer's Ice Cream in Yorkville! I took the kids on a sunny afternoon and it turned out to be the perfect treat. The ice cream is very flavorful, rich, creamy, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The kids absolutely loved their choices, and I found myself stealing a few bites too. They’ve got a great variety of classic and unique flavors, and everything we tried tasted fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about customer service and keeping the good vibes going. Everyone was smiling and helpful, even though the place got a bit busy while we were there. The shop itself is quite small, with limited indoor seating. It might not be ideal if you’re looking to sit down inside with a large group, but honestly, Yorkville is such a beautiful area that it’s actually better to grab your ice cream and take a walk around. The vibe outside is amazing, perfect for a summer stroll or just enjoying the neighborhood atmosphere. If I had one suggestion, it would be to update the interior design a bit. While it’s still clean and pleasant, it doesn’t quite match the upscale and stylish look of some of the surrounding Yorkville shops and cafes. That said, the ice cream more than makes up for it. All in all, highly recommend! Great for families, casual dates, or just a solo sweet treat on a hot day.

Homemade waffle cone is remarkably good wow. Choco fudge brownie on a waffle cone was one of the best ice cream experiences I’ve had. Also, just really high quality service from EEJay— he takes his work super seriously and is just a great vibes guy.

Stopped by for ice cream and loved it. The flavors were smooth and not too sweet, and the waffle cone was perfect. The shop has a cozy atmosphere and the staff were kind. I’d happily return to try more flavors.

I recently visited Summer Ice Cream Shop and tried two scoops Paralian Cream and Butterscotch. The flavors were quite unique and had an ambitious twist. There's a few ice cream places near by that are competing with one another for a nice summer treat. This place was good but I wouldn't say it blew anyone out of the water, but if it's what you see and you crave ice cream, why not?

This is an institution in Yorkville but really isn't all that good. There is a lack of depth of flavour to their ice cream that I don't understand. The taste always a starts off ok but it always feels like it fizzles out too soon. Th juicy fruit of ice cream. Staff is super friendly and there's almost always a line.

An underrated gem in the Yorkville area for ice cream! Whether it is the summer or cold winter, Summer's has taken pride to make delicious handcrafted ice cream! Whether it's soft serve, hand churned ice cream, or the smell of fresh waffle cones , there is a flavour for everyone at this spot in Yorkville!! I cannot wait to go back!

Great ice cream in the Yorkville area! We decided to make a stop at Summer's for ice cream to treat ourselves at the end of summer. The line moved quickly. There is no seating indoors and there were only a few tables out for seating. Ordered a double scoop in a kiddie cone, trying the mint chocolate chip and chocolate orange. There were also some stroopwafels near the cash register to decorate the ice cream on top. The chocolate orange I thought had a very strong cocoa flavour and did not taste any orange really. The mint chocolate chip however was really refreshing! Only downside is the lack of indoor and shaded seating. We walked over to the next street and found a bench in a shaded area to enjoy our ice cream.

Late Night craving of delicious Gelato to get carbohydrates through but acceptable on a cheat day one of the best delicious gelato to have late night for sure!

Definitely, 10/10 ice cream shop! It is a local business which makes their own homemade ice cream. It' has been there for 40 years! The store's inside feel comfy, mixing with retro and modern styles. Their workers were polite and patient, that made me feel so welcomed, especially for a person knew only a little about ice cream flavors. The ice cream was delicious and it matched the vibe of Yorkville perfectly. It is a must try. Highly recommended

The perfect summer ice cream spot located in Yorkville. It was super busy on the weekday we visited but there so many to choose from which was great. We loved the variety of flavours & even saw that they had some whip, we will be trying that next time. The customer service was lovely as they all had a smile.

Old school, classic ice cream spot! They have tons of great flavors, and several choices of cones. This is such a summer staple, it's a perfect way to beat the heat on a scorching summer day. We tried the butterscotch (pretty good) and the strawberry rhubarb (even better). Definitely would come back if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Walked by Summer's Ice Cream many many times but today my friend suggested we come here to grab dessert so I obliged! I got the waffle cone with one scoop of their blueberry gelato and actually- it was amazing. The blueberry gelato was actually so rich and creamy that it almost resembled the consistency of a softer marshmallow. I love the portion of ice cream they give (they don't skimp out like some other gelato/ice cream places) and their waffle cone was quite good! They also had some samples of their waffle cone at the front and they were open to giving samples. I will totally return! Service was nice and quick!

Summer's is the place to go if you're in the Yorkville area and looking for quality, creamy homemade ice cream. They have a large selection of ice cream flavours, along with some frozen yogurts and sorbets. They're also known for their selection of waffle cones and toppings although I prefer my new ice cream simple and in a cup.  The staff here are friendly and the speed of service is acceptable despite how busy the place can get, and the ability of customers to try multiple samples. The store has limited seating inside, and a few public benches outside so it's usually recommended to plan to take your order to go. An added bonus is that this place is open late if you're looking for an after dinner treat.

Visited this small ice cream shop in yorkville and it was so lovely. The people at the counter helped us pick the flavours and answered all our questions. There's so many different flavours to choose from that honestly I couldn't pick LOL. The interior is casual and cute, a good place to come for a sweet treat! Raspberry flavour is amazing

It was hot and sunny so we made a quick stop at this ice cream shop and were thrilled by the variety of flavors! Service was amazing since you can request to taste the flavors before you buy - I decided on Cherry Cheesecake--it was absolutely delightful! Just a heads-up: this is primarily a take-out store. There are only two small tables outside, each seating just two people, so there's a good chance you won't find a place to sit. If you're planning to get ice cream here, be ready to enjoy it elsewhere. All in all, this is an amazing ice cream shop well worth the try.

Very rich and creamy, and extremely flavorful. After perusing their flavors and many samples, finally ordered their homemade pistachio ice cream. It did not disappoint! Real chunks of pistachios were incorporated throughout the smooth and refreshing nibbles. I'm in heaven! The young lady who served me was exceptionally patient, friendly, and clearly enjoys what she does. She stated, "how could you not when you serve happiness in a cup or cone?" Someone, give her a raise for her wonderful disposition and service! This place is set a little hidden in the heart of Yorkville. This is a great place to treat yourself after dinner, or just for a sweet treat for self pampering. It's worth it!

This was a cute ice cream shop in Toronto. They have a wide variety of flavors but they are lacking punch. We had; - Toasted Marshmallow - had a fake smoky taste to it. - Coconut Cream Pie- tasty but lacked....something - Cake Batter - tasty The service was good and quick.

Now, this is ice cream! They make the waffle cones freshly right there, delicious. But even any flavor in a cup works. Lots of choices (you can try them all) and some fun unique flavors. Went a couple of times and everything we had was excellent. Place can get very busy (no inside seating), but the line moves swiftly.

Summer's ice cream for all seasons ! The store is a little bit hard to find but look for the big yellow and white overhead sign. Summer's ice cream has so many different flavours and options, such as soft serve and gelato, that are rich in flavours. The customer service is exceptional. This store is definitely one of the top ice cream locations in Toronto ! Tip : pay for parking as parking enforcement regularly attends the area.

Came across this place randomly as we were at a dinner reservation nearby. I've seen the place before as I've walked by but never knew how good it was until we got a chance to go after dinner. This place definitely gets super busy, as there was a line at the store until 10pm on a Friday. Since they are open longer hours we just waited around for the line to die down. My friend and I got toasted marshmallow I believe that's what it was called. That ice cream was soo yummy! There are some sitting inside of the shop but a lot of people were just outside sitting on the steps or the benches in front. Super cute spot, I want to go back and try some different flavors and this time maybe get a waffle cone!

The worst service! every time i come with my dog ​​to take ice cream with me and i am constantly asked for documents! sellers should take memory pills! it happened 27 may at 7:20 I will never come back !

Great place to cool down during a hot summer day. Came here on a warm May day to cool down with an ice cream cone. The place is a bit hidden as its located below a set of stairs from the street. So be aware or you may miss it. This place gets busy sometimes, so keep that in mind if you're not willing to wait. But it does move fairly quick. Only thing holding the line up is the people ahead of you who can't decide what to order and spend time trying out different flavours. And they have many flavours to choose from. Overall, the ice cream they offer is great and it's recommended to come here for ice cream.

Decided to give this place a visit after hearing amazing reviews from everyone and I must admit this place has amazing variety of flavours to choose from! We got their chocolate fudge brownie in a nutty cone, vanilla soft serve and blueberry cheesecake - didn't like the blueberry cheesecake but definitely LOVED the choco brownie flavour! It's a must try and I believe it will taste even better in a sundae with toppings. The price is reasonable and the scoop size is decent too which makes this place even better! Going to come back for more for sure.

Stopped in for ice cream and it was ah ma zing! The store initially caught my eye because Summer is one of my cousin's name. All their ice cream is handmade in store and it's located near the Royal Ontario Museum. I tried their maple walnut flavor and it was divine. It wasn't too sweet, the ice cream was the perfect consistency--not too hard and the perfect softness. Highly recommend if you're looking for good quality ice cream.

We stumbled upon this place on our way to dinner on a Sunday evening and was really craving some ice cream. They have so many flavours to choose from - priced by the scoop and you can choose a few of their cones like the sugar cone, wafer cone etc with no extra charge. I personally got the pistachio ice cream and it was so packed with pistachio flavour - even with real pistachios! Definitely want to come try more of their flavours next time!

Ice cream is love, ice cream is life. Accidentally strolled by Summer's Ice Cream over the weekend and I'm pretty darn glad I did. This ice cream parlor conveniently located across the street from Versace and Stone Island and down a small flight of stairs. This small shop has been visited by the likes of Drake, Gene Simmons, Ashley Tisdale, and evening The Jonas Brothers. When you walk in there is a large case full of different flavours making it pretty hard to just pick one (which is exactly why I picked two). I ended up going with the dark chocolate gelato and another special flavour that I'm forgetting the name of (I suck, I know). What really matters is how it all tasted, and it all tasted really really good. Both flavours were both rich in flavour and absolutely delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed Summer's Ice Cream, is it my favourite ice cream in Toronto? No, but it's definitely the best you'll find in the neighborhood.

Lovely & delicious ice cream place in Yorkville! There are a bunch of different flavours of any kind! Their mango-raspberry sorbet was absolutely delicious. With regard to Covid regulations, the ordering is done in a pretty safe manner. They have a microphone installed outside where you say your order and then you pay for your order (credit/debit machine is also installed outside). I'm not sure whether they accept cash though. Overall, I recommend visiting the place if you're in the area!

Hubby & I made an impromptu visit here as it was considerably warm out & we're so glad that we did as we enjoyed a couple of tasty milkshakes. The attendant who prepared our order was very friendly & we were tended to in a prompt manner considering it was mid-afternoon & they were busy at the time. They have a lot of unique flavors to choose from, in additions to toppings galore & also have gluten free options with ice cream cones.

Love this place in the summer! Summer's has a very authentic and natural dairy flavor which is very enjoyable -- I got pretty basic flavors (Salted caramel, fudge brownie) but they were both soo decadent ans good! There is always a line out the door and so many flavours to choose from. The icecream is definitely pricier than expected but it is super tasty and definitely a good treat everyone once in a while! I believe they also have Dole Whip (or a dupe at least) which looked super refreshing! If you go in the summer, you'll often see families eating icecream and hanging out on the staircase right in front of the store!

Long lineup on a hot Sat afternoon that moves quickly! Lots of selection-took the advice of many here and choose the Toronto Pothole and no disappointments. The issue here is they have so many choices and my waistline cannot afford to have them all.. oh well...better do more running to burn off my calories! You must give this place a try when you are in Yorkville. Be warned that Chanel is right across the street so your ice cream may cost more than you anticipated!!!

Everyone loves ice cream on a summer's day well really any day. Friendly service with outdoor tables to sit and enjoy your smoothies, milkshakes, sorbet, frozen yogurt or ice cream. Best of all if you get a single or double scoop they will provide a FREE homemade waffle cone.

Ice cream flavors are great. Service topnotch! I will come back every day while on vacation.

What I ordered: Rum & Raisin + Apple Cinnamon double scoop ($9.41) PROS: - One of the best ice cream places I've tried, very creamy, doesn't melt quickly in hot weather. - Apple cinnamon tasted like apple pie ice cream. The rum and raisin had a delicious vanilla ice cream base with large raisins, not too much rum. - The prices listed are a bit expensive ($6 for a single cone) but it includes the cone. You can choose between a sugar cone, waffle or regular cone. - The waitress calls out your order through a microphone and they have a napkin and hand sanitizer station. Payment is through credit card. There wasn't any markers for how far apart to stand. CONS: - Not a lot of seating but you can easily find a bench somewhere in Yorkville.

PROS: -Summer's Ice Cream is EXTREMELY SMOOTH -wide variety of CLASSIC FLAVOURS -scoop sizes are great for the price TIP#1: No extra cost for their in-house made waffle cone (it's got a nice sweet pastry taste and very crunchy). TIP#2: You can sample the flavours first! CONS: -not very unique flavour combinations -I personally found a lot of their flavours too sweet I got their Butter Pecan which tasted good and had a decent amount of pecan chunks throughout. Nothing spectacular, so I most likely won't be back ~

Walked here having an intense craving for ice cream and glad I decided to walk here! Very good service and nice ambiance. I got the birthday cake ice cream and it was delicious, I devoured every single bite, I would love to come back to try one of their other flavors.

A solid ice cream option in Yorkville, i personally think it's overly sweet and overpriced. That being said the portions are very generous, and the ice cream store is very nice inside.

This place gets really busy during the summer tucked away in Yorkville! Perfect spot to grab icecream to cool off when the weather is hot. I especially love to grab their pineapple dole whip but they have a ton of flavours and toppings!

When you walk into the shop you are faced with a fairly wide assortment of flavours to choose from. Our favourite flavour is the coconut cream which in my opinion is not too sweet and has a wonderful texture and taste to it. I also liked the Strawberry cream and the Maple Walnut (though it is sweeter than the other two). You can always ask for a sample if you are unsure which one to get. The staff here is always friendly and patient when you cannot make up your mind as to which flavour you want. The space itself is fairly small with a few tables and I noticed recently they added a ledge against the wall which makes the space for lining up even less. I will keep this short and sweet (pun intended). We are looking to start the summer off every year with some ice cream from Summer's. Do yourself a favour and do the same thing.

Extra ordinary ice cream! I'm a sweet addict or lover or whatever you wanna call it. I go out during summer in search for the nearest ice cream parlor near me. I love that summer's ice cream is now just walking distance!!! They have different cones just like other ice cream parlor, but their ice cream is something very unique. The taste is delicate and the texture is smooth. I love pistachio flavour and I always look for it in every dessert possible. So, ofcourse in ice cream that would be my instant choice. Their pistachio ice cream is one of the best i've tasted so far. The bits and pieces blends perfectly with the cream!! I will be a REGULAR here!!

Their fruit flavoured sorbets are super refreshing and easier to stomach after a big meal! They have a lot of flavours you can try, and the Yorkville area they are located in is super cute

Cool off after dinner at one of Yorkville's fine eatery and get some ice cream from Summer's. In a three block radius, this place is the only ice cream specialists crammed amongst the gelato and cheesecake restos. This place is a popular go-to-place especially when the area changes into from a wine and dine hot spots into local eatery dance clubs and private VIP joints. Always a line up but you don't wait long. They also sell yogurt and ice cream and make freshly squeezed drinks like lemonade. $

Good wholesome ice cream in a fresh waffle cone. Was walking around Yorkville and noticed how popular this spot was. Don't expect any novel flavours, they mainly have just the classics. You can try a sample or two if unsure of what you want. The roasted hazelnut brought my back to Italy. Very rich in flavour and it has hazelnut pieces inside. SO liked the butter pecan which was also rich and flavourful. This ice cream melts rather quickly so eat it inside or in the shade. Definitely go for the waffle cone which is made in-house...it's already included the price so why go for the sugar cone?

Awesome selection of flavours. There's always something about knowing the ice cream is handmade that makes summers ice cream special. Loved the blueberry swirl frozen yogurt. Feeling healthy and indulgent at the same time. A bit hard to find, because it's at a semi-basement location.

We were looking for some ice cream/gelato in Yorkville to finished our night of drinking and eating with some desserts..... Gelato up the street was charging $5 for a tiny cup. I know this is Yorkville, the playground of the "Rich and Famous" . Then I walked into Summer's Sweet Memories and find out their homemade ice cream is reasonably priced for $3.50 and served in a homemade waffle cone...This is my kind of place!! The staffs here are nice and friendly... and I got some samples until I settle on Pistachio. It was really good, rich and creamy and with tons of real nuts inside. A little on the sweet side..but it is call Summer's Sweet Memories!! Open passed midnight this Saturday night! Summer's Sweet Memories is most unpretentious place in the Yorkville area!!

Tried the hazelnut ice cream and dark chocolate together. Omg. Perfection.

It's not there ice cream wasn't good but the price was absolutely egregious. We felt violated. $11 for 2 scoops of ice cream??! These people are nuts! Won't be back beyond over priced. More expensive then Tokyo.

Cool Creamy Ice Cream on a summer day is the way to go! Walking around Yorkville, I always have to head over to Summer's. I've been enjoying this ice cream since I was a kid. It's homemade and made with lots of love. It's creamy and not icy. It has so many different options including frozen yogurt. Also they made their waffle cones fresh. I go for my favourite flavours - Cookie Cookie & White Chocolate. They have loads of crazy flavours including; Toronto Pothole, Simply Butterscotch and Almond Butter Toffee. Also they have an amazing flavour; Apple Cinnamon - That has real apples and cinnamon. Keep Eating, Angela
