Google
Super beautiful location for a lunch spot. The price is steep, but the food is super tasty. The burger we had was really good. The nature section in the basement is also great for young kids!

This big multi floor building, designed and meant for people to eat at, does not have a single microwave on the entire premise. I feel that it is not a negligent decision, but one made by design. It forces people to buy ridiculously priced food. Really left a bad taste in my mouth and was disappointed by how unpractical they are willing to be just to make money. Not one microwave guys? Be better. Also caught a wicked cold and i’m 99% sure this place was ground zero

This was a welcome stop, well, at the summit of Big Mountain. I didn't have any food, so I can't rate it but I saw many folks dishes and it looked surprisingly good! I did enjoy a nice, local beer while overlooking the expansive view out of the large windows all around. Service was fast but friendly. The bathrooms were clean! The gift shop was very tiny but cheaper than I anticipated and had lots of cute Big Mountain and general Montana souvenirs available. Don't miss the Nature Center just downstairs! Our kids loved the hands on displays and the rangers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable!

Summit House is a great spot to stop for lunch and a beer when you’re skiing at Whitefish. They have a great list of beers on tap. Very easy to get to, just take chair 1 from the base. Get there early if you want a spot close to the windows that have the best view. FYI there is no outdoor seating, I’m guessing it’s too cold most of the year to be practical.

Beautiful when not foggy! This restaurant is located at the summit and the only way to get there is via chairlifts. There was a lot of room in the lodge and a shop. Lots of runs at the top. Highly recommend Russ's Street for beginners going back down the mountain.

The house is much busier during winter sport, but it's also open for spring and summer. We enjoyed the employees who touched base with our bike riding and our incredible rain!!!

Google
Great experience nice location. Plenty of tables upstairs and downstairs. Beautiful view. The shop that is located is small but has the necessities if you need to grab something quick for your hike or ski day.

Yelp
The views are spectacular! The food and the price is not worth it. The Asian salad could use a bit more dressing. It was ok even though there were bit of lettuce that were turning pink. Grilled chicken was overcooked and chicken was extremely dry. Waffles fries were also overcooked and the need to change out the oil in the fryer. Philly was also just ok, but overpriced. We also went to their bar and I ordered an Irish coffee. I quickly returned it when I sipped some coffee grinds in my cup. I asked for a beer instead and the bartender only gave me half a cup of beer. The Irish coffee is $9 while a beer is $7. Yea, I will not be coming back here. Service is terrible, food isn't great, and too expensive even for Whitefish. The ride up was very nice, but the views going down is much better.

Yelp
The view from the top of Whitefish Mountain 5/5. The food options are very limited here. I had an expensive turkey and Brie sandwich and my companion had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Both came with fresh made potato chips, very good. My sandwich was pretty decent, though the Brie seemed more like a spread, the bun was warm, nice amount of turkey, arugula and pickled red onion.

Yelp
Love coming here! Perfect for a snack, meal, or drinks between runs! Plenty of alcohol options and tasty baked goods too

Yelp
We had lunch there today and it was quite good. There was a line to order, but it moved. The bartender who takes the orders apologized for the wait multiple times, he was very nice. The food came out pretty quickly and it wax good. My husband had a chicken sandwich/burger and my son had chicken tenders both with waffle fries. I had the poke bowl. It had a generous serving of the poke and everything else in the bowl was good.

Yelp
We only came here for the views and the drinks but they do serve food. We wanted to hike up the Danny Trail and take the lift down, but the trail was closed due to snowy conditions and it was a beautiful view on the lift nonetheless. What a great place to have a beer after ski/snowboarding/hiking though - the views are great.

Yelp
Views are great but avoid restaurant. Food was mediocre and service was terrible. Not only rude, but made you feel like you were putting them out to do their job. Enjoy the food, but I would stay away from the restaurant.

Yelp
Great views. Food was below average cafeteria quality with very limited options. Solid IPA on tap.

Yelp
Great cafeteria food EVER! Best curly fries ever! Totally Recommend this food. If you were ever in whitefish Montana come here!

Yelp
Nothing better than hiking up the Danny On trail and walking into the Summit House for a beer! Thankful this place is open for skiing and summer activities. Great outdoor area and the beer is ice cold! The bartenders are always friendly.

Yelp
The food was surprisingly amazing! And the prices were very reasonable for a summit restaurant, I was impressed! I got a turkey sandwich and my boyfriend got the quinoa bowl which were both great

Yelp
Great way to have lunch on top of Big Mountain. Gorgeous views from the top. Buy a round trip lift ticket and grab nice casual lunch atop the mountain. Bison burger was very nice. A lot of people order the Cubano which my wife had. GF bun options that were a surprise. Then we took a trail or two for a hike -- for more views.

Yelp
Lunch place at the top of a mountain, only open to skiers and whatever seasonal opportunities they have - you get what you get, right? Well, we got great food, exceptional hot chocolate, and very reasonable prices too. The pannini was excellent, my guy liked his oversize slice of pizza, we went back a few times for the hot chocolate and whipped cream (how did they get it so perfect and chocolate-y?) and there was always room to sit, the place was clean, staff friendly, no lines - best ski food I've ever had, for the price. Paid double for less quality in Colorado, for example. We lunched here 4 days in a row. Very good. Oh and the views were breathtaking, on top of a mountain, with views of Glacier National Park, if you can take your eyes of your great food, you will have views that literally take your breath away. The views were free. :P)

Yelp
I have to say, for a ski summit house, the food was exceptional and the views even better. Highly recommend the honey sriracha chicken sandwich, the pho soup, and the tacos. Everyone was super-friendly too!

Yelp
The food is good and the Bar service is excellent. Sue and Joe know how to service a bar and attend to their customer's needs even when the place is packed. The views are spectacular and this season the conditions are epic.

Yelp
The burgers are awesome and so is the chili, very affordable for being on the mountain... family of 4 was about $45.
