Sun & Sands Beach Hotel

Room is just "ok" but bedsheets have stains, the fridge has strong fish smell, there are lots of little flies and mosquitoes. Beach is NOT for swimming – water is dirty and there are many vendors selling seafood. Sand has lots of litter/trash also. The hotel management allows parties and karaoke. We ended up transferring to another hotel due to loud noises. The staff is helpful to us but since we booked via 3rd party, we're not eligible for a refund.

We was greeted by Kyanna. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She was very friendly. All round outstanding service. Room is good size and very clean.. will definitely recommend to family and friends.. we will definitely be back..

We are a couple of friends traveling along vietnam in a low budget. This hotel was quite above our average price. We had expectations on it but it was a completely mess. The place looks like it's abandonned. They are always eating in the reception and watching series. The only ones that actually work are the housekeepers. The waiters are always playing with their smartphones and laughing without putting any attention to the client. They were also making out behind the desk during breakfast.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Our poolside room was very clean, comfortable with nice view. The staff were very friendly & always smile. ||The beach was not clean at the time we stayed because of a storm. The people here said the beach is beautiful most of the time except a few months a year due to typhoon season.

I have no idea why this hotel is rated so high. Not a very friendly welcome, basically just given the breakfast coupons (which we didn't bother to try) and shown to the room It's quite on the outskirts of everything, which we thought was going to be positive. It's not. The road is very littered and it's not possible to walk on the beach (which, on this stretch, is also very littered).||The room seemed clean, but the bed and pillow were hard. We both woke up with a bit of neck pain, and my friend did not sleep much. That might also be because of drunk Russians talking loudly and squabbling in the late evening.||We could only handle one night, and left the next day. On our departure, the receptionist was very friendly, which is a redeeming quality, but I would not stay here again.||A more friendly welcome, with some explanations, would've helped a lot!

This hotel is average, rooms are " ok" but dont expect much. The best thing About the hotel is 1: the kitchen, they have excellent lunch and dinner! 2 it does have a beach and that is nice view! Unfortunately jetski salesmen jam their jetskies into the beach all the time, gasoline smell and loud noises. Staff is friendly but litteraly dont speak one word english ! Staff is sweet but really incompetent and have no idea of what they are doing! they are more busey with there smartphones, watching movies and playing games all the time and talking with each other rather then the guests.

are a bit deceiving. We booked 5 nights via booking. Upon arrival we checked in they walked us to our room and then we saw 2 single beds that the cleaning ladies pushed together in the room (requested a double) and the room smelled after urine, musty stuff and old water. So we went to the reception to ask if they have other rooms available so we could upgrade our self. Walking to the other room we saw that the water in both pools looked a bit dirty as in not clear, mold on the wall at the toilets near the reception. Things looks warn down old. There was one with beach view same room only bit bigger and 2 double beds. 70$ per night extra 😧 she told us after we took a look at the room. So we decided to cancel our reservation went back to the room to get our stuff and I wanted to give the same cleaning lady the key she shoo me away and said something cranky in Vietnamese. That was not so nice. ||So we told the receptionist that we would cancel our reservation and thank her. Told her also to go the room and smell it so she knows what we are talking about.|| They rated this accommodation the same 🙄 as amaryllis resort where we are now for 50€ extra per person. That is not fair as far as I can say.

Beautifully positioned.. When you wake up to a view like this (see attached picture) the lacking service doesn't really matter any more. In general Vietnam is a beautiful country and its people are all very friendly. Would definitely stay here again |
