Sun Beach Hotel

What a delightful "hotel" on the promenade with a fabulous view of the fishing bay. It is in walking distance of the market and pier and delicious eateries. The 10 rooms are comfortable and spotless.. upstairs do have a better view. The absolute gem of Sun Beach is a lady, LAK. She does everything..and goes out of her way to meet any request. Seemingly she is the only English speaker.

A nice hotel with good views of the bay. First floor rooms with less of a view are less expensive with second floor rooms and the better views slightly more. Prices were good for the area. Not a bad walk to restaurants and bars. The building is a little older but is well maintained. The rooms and particularly the bed was comfortable and clean.

On recommendation we went straight to this Guesthouse. Opposite the water it offers a fantastic view and our request for an upper room was done. The upper floors have a wide verandah offering great views and we were close to everywhere. Our room was comfortable and the staff were brilliant. We hired a motorbike from them which was an awesome way to get around PKK and to access Ao Manao Beach via Wing 5 airforce base. You will need your passport to access the base and must wear a helmet whilst on the base. They do lock the bikes up at night so if planning an early morning ride for sunrise let them know so you can access the bike. A wonderful stay!!

Charming small hotel bright colours and immaculate maintenance. Nothing wrong with room furnishings, everything clean and comfortable. Every hotel cannot be new. Added bonus Amazon Coffee short walking distance. The view, to die for. We hope to return.

This was a great hotel the rooms were clean and we really liked the balcony. You have a lot of privacy here, but all the rooms you can still hear the sound of crashing waves. It was beautiful.

Easy check in by helpful staff. They arranged my bicycle rental for me.||I stayed in one of the five sea view rooms. Excellent value for money with large balcony to sit and relax and enjoy the bay views. My room was clean and spacious. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. The bathroom was compact with a segregated shower with curtain.||Breakfast was only coffee/tea, biscuits and some type of flavoured water. I tried one which I found chewy but did not think it was nutritious. I don't drink coffee/tea so I went to restaurants up the road for my breakfasts. I think it's slightly misleading to market as a breakfast.||The swimming pool was clean and well maintained.||Overall, I had an enjoyable experience.

The hotel was fine on the outside. There is a nice pool and deckchairs. The views are also nice from the rooms. I thought the rooms were outdated. The decor and furniture were old-fashioned and futureboard was everywhere. To cover old surfaces? Summary: Nice views and exterior. Rooms in need of an upgrade.

Great place to stay,rooms are very clean, comfortable bed,good balcony with table and chairs, pool was spotless, staff are all very nice, especially Lek. Upstairs rooms would be my choice. Its got an old school charm, close to eating options,7-11 5min walk
