Sun-n-Sand Hotel

We stayed at Sun N Sand Mumbai for 4 nights total.|Easy check-in. Large spacious rooms available.|Location beachfront Juhu beach- spectacular views and comfortable seating area near the beachside. |Staff are generally friendly on the whole and good security. |We were a little disappointed with the food options, particularly at dinner. Some food was not of good quality and very spicy. Breakfast was adequate and nothing special.|May be an area that needs to worked on.|The pool was also closed for renovation.|Overall a very good stay and would opt to stay again.

This iconic first five star beachfront hotel still stands tall. I have been visiting since 1962 when it first opened. This time we visited after a long time and booked Presidential Suite to celebrate some special occasion. The suite on top floor was luxurious overlooking beach, pool and Arabian Sea. Another highlight of suite was a very big private terrace where one could throw a party for 40/50 people easily. It also had barbeque facility. The beach and sunset views were awesome.|The hotel had three restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisines. The main bar was under renovation. However they were serving liquor in all restaurants. The gym facing beach was great. The pool, garden and open ground added to its charm. |The service was impeccable in all departments. The overall ambiance was superb. |A great hotel for a relaxed vacation or for business stay...

At Juhu beach ⛱️ beautiful hotel the famous hotel Sun n Sand.. Where so many bollywood actors comes normally so many pictures u can see there. Evenbwe stayed 2 days and we got a chance to Met with 2 big film stars. View is awesome from the room..direct access to sea 🌊 beach...we relaxes there..room services are too good... Breakfast only I feel they should provide more veg items..south Indian and non veg items were there but in veg only few option were there.

Lovely hotel. Large rooms (though bathrooms could be slightly bigger) amazing staff and the food is incredible. Hotel could do with a bit of a freshen up, and I understand is now being renovated. I enjoyed my stay so much that I'd love to go back and visit again to see how the renovations have improved the hotel.

Booked hotel for 4 nights but only stayed for 1 night. Was not made swear that the swimming pool was out of use. The carpet and pillow cases have stains on them. No coffee in our room. The hotel has a dull and bed we’re uncomfortable. However the staff are helpful are friendly.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Sun-n-Sand, Mumbai. Despite having stayed here multiple times before, the standards have only gone down. This time, I ordered a veg biryani and found a long hair in the food. When I reported it, the staff were not just unapologetic but shockingly rude and dismissive. For a so-called 5-star property, such poor hygiene and arrogant behavior are inexcusable. Finding hair in food is disgusting, but what’s worse is the lack of responsibility or courtesy from the team. Clearly, the management doesn’t care about basic hospitality anymore. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had here, but it will definitely be the last. I would strongly advise people to think twice before staying or dining here—there are far better hotels in Mumbai that actually value their guests.

There has been a serious data breach in this hotel’s reservation system. I was defrauded of €237 through a phishing operation on WhatsApp, where the scammer had access to all my personal and booking details. Despite several complaints sent to the hotel, no one responded or offered any assistance. I finally had to visit the property in person. The manager, Mr. Clevert D’Souza, neither apologised nor showed any willingness to investigate the issue. His only advice was to contact the police. The handling of this situation was far below the standards expected of a five-star hotel that promotes itself as a symbol of luxury and hospitality. The attitude shown was neutral, lacking empathy or any sense of client care. At the very least, one would expect the manager of such an establishment to listen, show understanding, and express apologies — regardless of the circumstances. That, to me, is the essence of true luxury service.
