Sun Palace Kyuyokan

The pictures don’t match what it looks like on google maps. This place had a creepy feeling.the 3rd floor I stayed in the area was dimmed like hardly any lights on or even barely sunlight coming in . The room key you have to turn it back to the front desk every-time you leave the hotel property. The room I stayed in was outdated and bed was hella hard like sleeping on a wood board. (The room gave off like horror American movie off a highways middle of nowhere motel vibe ) that reference a lot of Americans would get . I had to check out and find another place to stay .

The service here is very, very good and very friendly. After returning to the cleaned-up hotel with a tired body, my whole mood became better!

Wonderful stay! Rooms are very clean, supplied with all the amenities for your comfort. Excellent location, close to everything, the Prefectural Office monorail station is right across the street, the Kokusai-dori is just 2 minutes walk away, very convenient. The wifi internet is really fast. There's a business lounge at the 2F with small booths if you need some quiet space for your calls. The teishoku breakfast is superb. It's very rich and tasty! There's also coffee-machine and cold drinks dispenser. Staffs are friendly and are always helpful!

Today is 13/12/24. I just can't refrain from commenting about the wonderful lady at the breakfast room this morning. She is so helpful and courteous to everyone n takes her job very seriously. It is so honoured so be served by such an awesome staff. A rare gem

Right near convenience stores, monorail, prefectural government office (kenchou), and tourist mecca Kokusai Dori. Beautiful, relaxed, affordable mix imof Okinawan and Western styles. Very helpful staff.

Starting from the first night is a nightmare, the sound-insulation of the room is extremely bad. You can hear the the tap opening sound of the tap and the water flow sound of the other room at night. The "wake-up call" of the room is also worh one's attention : starting from early 5:00 ~ 7:00 am (at dawn) everyday, I can hear the medium level noise of the starting of the machinery / equipment sound of the hotel ..AT DAWN EVERYDAY. The frequency of the noise is very high like the main character of Frederick in the movie gretching the wall so that I had a number of bad dream during my stay at the hotel. The room is very small and inferior compared with the similar price of the hotel in Tokyo & Osaka, very low price-quality ratio. Last but not least, Jerome is without scenery possibly, you have a high chance or facing the wall of the other building out of the window. That means guest is just like snails, the event in the shell during the stay.

Room was clean, but tiny and furniture is a bit dated, but for the price and location you cannot complain. Staff was great and accommodating
