We’ve just returned from the most incredible stay in the Maldives, and I can honestly say it was the most amazing family holiday we’ve ever had. We spent four nights in the Grand Beach Villa and then three nights in the Grand Water Villa, which gave us the chance to experience both islands—and both were absolutely fantastic in their own unique ways. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed. The resort is extremely kid-friendly, which made traveling with our 10-year-old and 3-year-old so easy and enjoyable. The kids’ club was outstanding—engaging activities, caring staff, and a fun, safe environment that our children didn’t want to leave! The food and drinks were exceptional, with great variety and high quality at every meal. And the staff… truly to die for. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. Both accommodations were stunning—the spacious Grand Beach Villa with direct beach access, and the dreamy Grand Water Villa with its unbeatable views. Experiencing both really made the trip feel extra special. We would highly, highly recommend this resort to any family looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and wonderful activities for children. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. We can’t wait to return!

We just got back from 7 incredible days at Sun Siyam Olhuveli Resort as a family of 4, two adults and children aged 3 and 10. We stayed 4 nights in the Grand Beach Villa and 3 nights in the Grand Water Villa, so we got to experience both and both were absolutely amazing. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the little buses make it so easy to get around the islands. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the service was perfect. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing. The kids’ club was amazing, giving our little ones so much to do while we could relax. Our host Diyu was incredible. She was there to greet us on arrival, guided us through every detail of the resort, and made sure we knew everything we needed for a seamless stay. She was always just a text away, helping with any questions or special requests, and even planned a memorable birthday dinner for us. She was there right up to our departure, making sure everything went perfectly and that we left feeling completely looked after. The staff across the resort were all so friendly and accommodating, and the restaurants were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. Every detail of the resort, from villas to dining to activities, was perfect. We cannot wait to come back. This was truly a family holiday we’ll never forget

We have just returned from an amazing holiday at Sun Siyam. It was our first visit to the Maldives and it didn’t disappoint. The moment you arrive you are greeted with a lovely welcome. The resort spreads over three islands which are all beautiful. You are designated a member of staff who you can contact at anytime via WhatsApp just in case you have any issues or questions. We started off in one of the sunrise villas which was lovely, going straight out onto a lovely pool area. After the third day we had a slight issue with our room but the staff were amazing in sorting this out and upgraded us to one of their grand beach villas for the last three nights. This villa was utterly amazing with a very large outdoor luxury bathroom and our own swimming pool. It was also my birthday during our stay and they went above and beyond to make sure it was an extra special day. The food in both the buffet restaurant and the à la carte restaurants were superb. Everything about this resort is truly special and we would love to visit again one day. All the staff are super friendly and We would like to say a special thank you to Ameem and Diyu for making our holiday exceptional. Also the lovely barman at the sunrise pool bar (Si Kiran) and also the main waiter in the Siyam Orchid restaurant who went above and beyond for us. Such an amazingly beautiful place to be. We love Olhuveli ❤️

We visited Sun Siyam Olhuveli for a day trip, and it was absolutely amazing. The island is stunning — crystal clear water, beautiful beaches, and peaceful surroundings. It truly feels like a private paradise. We spent a beautiful day together, relaxing, exploring, and enjoying every moment. The highlight for us was their infinity pool, which is unbelievably beautiful and perfect for photos and relaxation. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Even though we were only there for a day, the hospitality and atmosphere made us feel special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Maldives — definitely one of the most beautiful places we’ve been. We would love to come back again for a longer stay. 🌴✨❤️

I recently spent a week at Sun Siyam Olhuveli, and it was nothing short of a dream vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making us feel like cherished guests rather than just another booking. The entire team, from the front desk to the villa attendants, went above and beyond to anticipate our needs—whether it was arranging a surprise sunset picnic or simply remembering our coffee preferences each morning. Their approachable, friendly demeanor and infectious smiles truly elevated the experience, turning every interaction into a highlight. The dining options were an absolute delight, with a diverse array of fresh, flavorful cuisine that catered to every palate. We indulged in Maldivian specialties at the beachfront restaurant, savored Italian delights under the stars, and even tried innovative fusion dishes at the overwater bar—each meal bursting with high-quality ingredients sourced locally. The all-inclusive packages meant endless variety without a worry, and the attentive service ensured our glasses were never empty and our plates always perfectly presented. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the resort; our overwater villa sparkled from top to bottom, with daily housekeeping that felt more like a luxury ritual than a chore. The pristine white sands, crystal-clear lagoons, and spotless public areas reflected the resort's unwavering commitment to maintaining a serene, hygienic haven. Overall, Sun Siyam Olhuveli isn't just a hotel—it's a slice of heaven where the staff's dedication and positive energy make all the difference. I can't wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone seeking pure bliss in the Maldives.

We came here for our honeymoon and it has been the best holiday we have ever had! The resort is perfect, you could not want for more here, it is beautiful, clean and has loads to do. The food is amazing, our favourite restaurant was the sayam orchid Thai, and the buffet restaurants had the biggest variety we have ever seen from this style of dining. The staff were all amazing, our hostess Diyu was incredible from the start, very friendly and always helped us with anything we needed at any time. Our housekeeper Sumon was wonderful, he was always so smiley and polite and did wonderful decorations on our bed which was a lovely surprise to return to after a day out. Niro was excellent at keeping our mini bar stocked fully every day and accommodated all our requests. Muna was one of the bar staff at dream bar and she went above and beyond to remember our room number and orders and we returned there almost every night for a nightcap. Amir at the malaafaiy restaurant also provided excellent dinner service. Finally, we tried scuba diving for the first time with Myles who was fantastic, clearly very passionate about his work and his enthusiasm made the dives so enjoyable. I couldn't recommend this place enough, we hope to come back! I would also recommend the all inclusive option, it is well worth it. I mentioned a few of the staff here by name, but truthfully all of the staff on the island were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an unforgettable experience.

Decent resort but a few glitches in the experience. The battery on my door lock died without warning and I was locked out for 45 mins before dinner before they managed to get an engineer out to replace the batteries which was annoying and I had to chase a couple of times. The food portions were quite small and fellow guests commented that it felt a bit like upsell island with a lot of things you expect to be included costing extra. We didn’t feel the food quality was that good to be honest. WiFi went down constantly - not the connection to the outside world, but to the routers themselves. Once connected speed was decent. Positives: Rooms were really nice and modern and the gym equipment was all modern. Free minibar was appreciated! Lots of space on the islands for wandering around and pristine beaches and clear waters. Excellent snorkelling with a reef full of fish and turtles right off the arrival pier. Free paddleboards and snorkelling gear made for some great fun!

Our stay at Sun Siyam Olhuveli in the Maldives was absolutely incredible — the kind of experience that stays with you forever. There’s so much to do — from water sports and snorkeling to relaxing by the infinity pools or simply wandering along the beaches — yet it never felt crowded or hectic. We loved that you could find excitement and adventure if you wanted it, but also plenty of peaceful, chilled areas to unwind and just soak in the views. But what truly made our trip exceptional was our host, Diyu. She was nothing short of amazing! Diyu went above and beyond every single day — always checking in with a big smile, helping us plan activities, and making sure we had everything we needed (often before we even asked!). Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel so special and completely at home. It’s rare to meet someone who takes such pride in creating unforgettable experiences, and Diyu is definitely one of those people. She truly made our holiday magical. Every meal, every sunset, every moment at Olhuveli felt perfect — a mix of luxury, nature, and heartfelt hospitality.
