Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

After much research, we selected Sun Siyam Vilu Reef for our first holidays in Maldives with our 9 months old baby. We wanted to have a relaxing experience and oh boy everything about our holiday at Vilu Reef was exceptional, from the moment we stepped off the seaplane and were greeted by our fantastic host Niyaaf, who then gave us a quick tour while heading to our Beach Villa and made sure we were well looked after throughout our stay.||The best part about Vilu Reef is the people working here, you would be amazed to see everyone genuinely greeting you, quick to help. ||Few shoutouts:||Niyaaf - Our young, dynamic host who made sure we were well taken care of, suggesting activities considering we had a baby with us, very much responsive when requested for anything. |||Habib - who made sure our villa is always clean and we had fresh towels, even went out of the way to wait for 20 minutes after his shift to clean the room just cause our baby was sleeping, goes to show how well they are trained to give you an amazing experience. |||Chefs and Staff at Aqua Restaurant:||The team of Executive Chef Nitin is amazing, Chef Chaminda who pampered us with a daily special Seafood curry. Chef Akram, made amazing omelettes in the morning, Chef Manish has always welcomed with a smile. The staff at Aqua always welcomed us with a huge smile that made our baby so happy, everyone served with a smile and so much energy, engaging and playing with our baby while we eat. Vijay - took care of us on all the meals with such positive attitude, he has outdone himself daily. ||About the Villa:||We booked the Deluxe Villa with Pool as we wanted to have a privacy. The villa had an amazing vibe, it is modern with an outdoor bathroom. A nice area to sit in the room and the swing by the pool was a great area to relax and read book after a swimming session. ||All we can say is… we will be back!!!

We stayed at the Sun Siyam Vilu Reef Hotel from 06.01 to 14.01.25 Villa 152 and it was just a wonderful vacation! We would like to sincerely thank all the staff of the hotel for their hospitality and the highest level of service! Especially a huge thank you to the best assistant at Villa Sahib. Sahib made our stay even more comfortable, helped us in all matters, thank you for your attentiveness and care!! You are the best villa attendant. The hotel is very nice, the best villas with a swimming pool and excellent access to the ocean and the beach on this side. Thank you all very much, see you soon!!!

We stayed 9 nights in a beach pool villa nr. 145. Really ideal if you travel with small kids, since it is just infront of a closed lagoon with no waves and you can go to the other beaches and house reef within few minutes. |Habib cleaned the room perfect and made sure we always had enough free water and towels. Every day staff cleaned pool and garden.|We have been 9 times to Maldives and I must say that staff here is in the top regarding kindness. Spa prices are in the higher end. Food is in the midrange. Spice restaurant could improve the menu. Aqua was nice selection buffet and Vijay did a very good job as an attentive waiter. Well done had a big wine selection and fresh lobsters. Meat dishes a bit boring but chocolate cake with ice was good. Villa and pool in top 3.|Go here if you are with small kids and like to snorkle a lot on a house reef.|Saw sharks, eel, small stingrays and 1000s of fish on the reef and dolfins also 40-50 meter from the beach.|Heard another snorkeler saw a turtle on the house reef as well.

My wife and I would highly recommend staying at Sun Siyam Vilu reef. From the moment we landed we were very well looked after by Niyaaf, who took care of all our requests, such as booking restaurants, excursions and ensuring we made our flight back in good time. They also provided us with a cake to celebrate our babymoon. ||We stayed in Vila 417 (water villa) which has a stunning view. While walking we would regularly see black tip/white tip sharks. We also saw a large sting ray. ||You can access the reef through entrance 1, 2 & 3. And this will be an unforgettable experience. You get to see all the reef fish - parrotfish, trumpetfish, clownfish etc. sharks, rays, puffer...||Another highlight was The Spice a big thank you to Kushal who really looked after us there. We loved the butter chicken and fish curry. They even made some paratha for us to take with us on the flight back. The Indian food was incredible and authentic.||All in all it well exceeded all our expectations.

The staff was really kind. The rooms were nice as well but the solo rooms have a small pool but it's fine because they have heaters. The food was amazing. (This place has a lot of sea food so be aware of that if you have a allergen to sea food) I recommend the spa massages. The staff were really kind so 9.5/10 = ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The view is amazing, you can snorkeling anywhere around the island, sea finishing is amazing we got 15 fishes in 2 hours. Very memorable trip, will definitely come back in the future. Housekeeping team has fantastic service, Habib cleaned my rooms he is an amazing guy, really thankful for his service! Compare to the price, food is not that good for AI, but fair enough.

Everything was amazing! The whole experience was an extraordinary heavenly adventure! The view, the fauna, the amenities were breathtaking. The staff was extremely kind. He distinguished himself as the chef de cuisine in the main restaurant. Boss Chaminda! Exceptional professional, kind and dedicated to his work! Thanks to the whole team for the adventure!

We spent our honeymoon here and it was the most wonderful place we have ever been. The people are incredible, everyone smiles and always has a kind word for us.The view is amazing, I have never been anywhere where the wildlife was so rich. I saw dolphins swinging from the swing bed, I swam with turtles and sharks. We definitely want to come back here one day.
