Sunbreeze Hotel

We stayed at the Sun Breeze for the five nights that we were in San Pedro, and we were very happy with the room, the location, the property, the pool, and the service. Overall, it was a really wonderful trip. The property is oriented well to afford good ocean and pool views from the rooms, and the pool deck was quite comfortable. The place is right across the street from the airport (so you do get some small plane noise each day as they take off over the property), but it's not offensive at all. One of the best parts about our stay was the restaurant & bar (a private concession, not owned by the hotel). The food was really good, the service was usually outstanding, and the guys at the bar were great. Drinks were rather weak, but it was so affordable, it was nothing to just make everything a 'double'. The restaurant is wide open to the ocean, except for when there's weather and the pull down the plastic walls. We did venture off-property some, but kept returning to the on-premise restaurant because it was so good. And even though it's a private concession, they still allow room charges.

Great spot in the middle between ferry port downtown and the northern food area. The diving company on site was amazing, but the hotel staff, rooms and food were just as awesome. Everything is clean, the pool is relaxing and the bar staff make the best drinks.

The SunBreeze Hotel was a great bargain. Loved the location, in town and on the ocean, with several diving operations within a 5-10 minute walk. Everyone at the Hotel was very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant, Blue Water Grill, was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The beds were VERY comfortable. Overall, our stay was great!

The rooms are very clean and the beds are so comfortable. Location is in the center of town within easy walking distance to many restaurants and bars. There is a great restaurant on site. Wonderful views of the ocean from most rooms and the pool deck. The staff are very friendly and are able to assist you with information and reserving day trips, fishing, snorkeling, and diving trips. We feel like family.

If you are standing in the airport terminal, SunBreeze does not look like much. As soon as you enter the lobby though, you see it is a very nice property. The pool, bar, and restaurant area is very nice and overlooks the water. The food was excellent. The rooms were clean, the shower was big, and the beds were comfortable. They provide free drinking water and free coffee. They have their own dive operation, but Ramon's is a 5 minute walk if you need more options. When it is time to go home, it is so nice to be able to just cross the street to get to the airport. We only rented a golf cart 1 day of our 5 day dive trip because SunBreeze is so centrally located.

The Sunbreeze Hotel exceeded everything we were looking for when we booked to come to San Pedro Belize. Right across the street from the airport made it especially easy when we arrived and left. The room was huge, big bathroom and shower, and having the chairs to sit outside the room and enjoy the air. The staff were incredibly gracious and helpful when we asked questions, booked excursions, and asked about currency exchange. Being in the centre of everything was fantastic ... we walked everywhere (restaurants, shopping, grocery, pharmacy) as everything was close. We didn't need to rent a golf cart to do anything. Secret Beach you need a cart, but we will do that next time. Having the dive shop on site was a big plus as it was wake up, have breakfast, then go dive. Blue Water Grill right on site ... really good food.|My wife and I definitely recommend coming here. Except when we come back ... I want to make sure we have a room. :D

Perfect spot for divers! Probably others too but our boat was right by this hotel and when the staff overheard that some of our group was sick they alerted the rest of us and checked on how they were doing. Thwy had my name memorized and greeted me when I went by. I work in hospitality and they exceeded my expectations

The hotel is not fancy, but it is wonderful! The rooms are very nice and clean. The hospitality is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful view and location. The only down side is that there is not a sandy beach entrance to the ocean. That has not been a deterrent. Once in the water it's shallow and kids can play. I would highly recommend staying here. Especially if you are divers. The ability to walk right down to the dock from our rooms is very convenient.
