Suncadia Resort

I’m going to write a lot to expand on this review… Location is beautiful and easy to access-that part was good. Does not fit the bill of a relaxing place to attend. Incredibly busy and dogs everywhere. I understand being pet friendly and realize that much of this rests on the pet owners, but my goodness. Dogs running around the lobby, dogs on every single floor, yellow snow everywhere-right out the front door. Fitness center was nice, but plenty of items non functioning, i.e steam room and outdoor hot tub. One would think that out of order signs could be put up. On to the room…we were placed in an ada room-which is fine, but….. The shower head (please picture an ada shower with the long hose) was so loose that it could hold the weight of the shower head and just flopped straight down. The resort, kind of fixed this with a ‘band aid’. There were no floor mats in the room at all, so water/mud spots occurred at the door-but worse the shower (flat floor) flooded 1/2 of the rest of the restroom to the sink. We requested extra towels and floor mats. 2 hours later we requested again. An hour later again and were told sorry we only have one maid on shift right now. (Why when every room is full and the resort is that busy???) Service attendants were nice and things were not their fault, but mostly unhelpful. We requested bedding for the hidabed-three times before getting it. The fireplace would not light, and had to be fixed in the middle of our stay. In all, we had to contact the front desk for service roughly 7 times. We had 2 occasions where a worker came into our room to work on things. While they were able to improve the issues, this took over an hour out of our day. And sorry, but they smelled strongly of cigarettes. Complimentary s’mores for kids in the evenings is a nice touch. As was very warm outdoor pools. I know this was a lot of whining, but when you pay like we did for a family vacation (and birthday trip for our son) you would like and appreciate a little better. Overall, there were nice parts but it certainly had its frustrations and simply was not worth the money spent. I cannot recommend.

The location and accommodations are undeniably beautiful. That said, we are currently staying in a rental home. We arrived just before the 4:00 PM check-in time, the day after a significant snowstorm, and found that the driveway had not been plowed. We parked on the road and contacted the front desk for guidance. We understand that snow removal takes time after a major storm. However, given the cost of this rental, we expected more proactive communication and support. We received no advance warning that the driveway might be inaccessible, nor any suggestions on how to prepare or what to do upon arrival. As a result, we were left waiting in our car with a baby and two other children, with no way to access the house other than walking through two feet of snow. When we asked for guidance, we were told to park in front of the house with our hazard lights on, in icy conditions and as daylight was fading. What was most disappointing was the response: no apology, no alternative offered (such as waiting at the lodge), and no discussion of compensation. For a rental at this price point, the lack of communication, empathy, and problem-solving fell well below expectations.

Very nice the apartment and the location. The service at the restaurants is good and the food exquisite. The only observation I have is that the menus are short if you are staying for 3 or more days, specially when it is far from other places to eat.

Everything about Suncadia was wonderful — the amenities were top-notch, and it truly felt like a golf lover’s paradise. Unfortunately, we checked out a day early because we couldn’t get any sleep. Kids were running up and down the hallway late at night and screaming early in the morning. It’s a great place overall, but we wish the noise level was better managed for guests looking to relax.

Suncadia is great to visit in all four of its seasons. there is always something to do in this resort or if you just want to chill there is a spa nearby inside the resort. They are actively putting in new activities/ parks for the community. There are several golf courses nearby and driving ranges, with top tier golf courses!

I tried ice skating at their "ice rink" and it's trash. Ditch the glice and bring back your regular rink.

If you want a relaxing, renovated, functioning resort this is not it. Kids everywhere at all times. More families here than couples. Whole lodge was under construction. Every meal was at best edible - nothing remarkable at all. For the prices, I was completely disappointed in my first and probably only stay here. Three stars only for location, and fireplace in the rooms.

Golf course was in very poor shape. They lied about sanding and punching the greens. No discounts for horrible playing conditions. Sand traps had less sand than the fairways, tees and greens. Double and triple check before you book a round of golf.

We did not stay at the resort. We greatly enjoyed the warm cozy lobby, a cozier library, outside gas fire-pits, and bar with food. You can sign up for winter activities (online) even if you are not a guest at Suncadia - skating, snow shoeing, skiing, shuttle to Snoqualmie, etc. There is a sledding hill at the golf range hill (look for the tall netting). We were there a few days after NYE and it was very quiet. Many of the winterfest activities were done, but they still had rentals, sledding, skiing, etc. Free parking.

We spent 3 nights in a 3-bedroom cabin on sweet lane and spent new years here. We absolutely had a wonderful time with our toddlers. I feel like after reading the reviews it's a bit of a hit and miss depending on the place you stay in. I guess we lucked out! Hot tub was great!! Indoor swimming pool is nice and warm and accessible to families and nonmembers guests 10am onwards. Drinks at the lodge with the view was fun! There's a nice area for sledding in the winter months. Overall highly recommended for a family getaway in Washington!

Our family checked into the Lodge on December 25 for a two-night stay. We were very much looking forward to our winter vacation, especially since we splurged on booking the two-bedroom penthouse suite. Even thought we knew the condition of the hotel room desperately needs updating from other reviews (very true, btw), we still were thoroughly disappointed with our experience. Two main reasons that really affected our experience were the constant lack of hot water and a leaking sink in the kitchen. Having hot water is a basic need that all room guests should have, let alone when it's snowing and below freezing outside. The hot water came back for short period of time, but we weren't able to shower the first night when we arrive. Even washing dishes or brushing teeth was unpleasant at best. On the second night we were not able to bathe our kids before their bedtime. What made the might worse was that the kitchen sink started leaking while doing dishes, causing a mess in the kitchen/hallway. When we looked under the sink, we found the drainage pipes completely separated from each other!! These issues really made our stay very disappointing. We can live with banged up walls, dirty linens, and torn sofa cushions, but having hot water and functional pipes seem nonnegotiable for any hotel in my opinion. We hope Suncadia will do a better job with facilities maintenance going forward, so that guests truly get the experience Suncadia is marketed to offer.

First time here and kinda comparing it to Sunriver in Oregon . Had a great time at the pool with our toddler grandson - workout facilities and hot tub close by. Dinner at Sources , extensive wine list and great views -casual atmosphere and tasty food . Will check out Nelson Farm, spa, golf course and trails tomorrow. Seems like a good fit for a family reunion or multi gen celebration.

Awesome place especially food out family who hail from LA and do not see snow. 1hr from Bellevue, WA and you can get to a different planet. Very friendly staff, great food in two restaurants, and fantastic accommodation. All wooden cabin look inside, a must visit!!!!

Clean rooms, wonderful staff, and the convenience of so many dining options eas great. We love the fun excursions opportunities Suncadia provides, Sip & Paint is one of our favorites!!

Yikes. I have heard nothing but great raving reviews of here but I was super surprised by my experience. No one helped with my bags at the inn. Didn't see anyone at all at the front except blaring music. The interior at the lodge and inn is so tired it's all brown, and looks like it has not been paint with all chipped walls. Chipped furniture and scratches galore. The overall feel was tired and need of a reno. The food is ok, obviously a bit pricey for what is. My tuna appetizer's rice was so undercooked I couldnt eat it. The parking lots are also quite small so if its the popular season to go you might have a hard time finding a spot at the lodge.

If you want one of the best views in WA this resort definitely has it. The rooms are a little dated as I prefer rooms more modern. (Just my preference). Was nice that my room came with a small kitchen and updated mini fridge. You really come here for the views. Got lucky that it was a nice day with no rain. Rare for October. The restaurants are just too expensive for what they are. It's Cle Elum not Bellevue. Relax..... overall nice experience. Fire pits are great and enhance the view.

Horrible place. My nightmare Christmas Eve. Was just taking a shower and the water suddenly went ice cold. The room was overall dirty. I could see dirtiness on the mattress. Floor was dusty. Shitty place. Never gonna come ever in my whole life. Suggest this place to anyone you hate.

The perfect A+ getaway. Breathtaking golf resort in the Mtns. Sometimes we spend the night and other times we day trip Love t o take the 1000 steps down for a beautiful hike along the river. The kids love the indoor pool on winter vacations. Terrific food and wine tasting at Swiftwater Cellars. So picturesque!!

Nice resort for families and plenty of activities. We enjoyed a 4 night stay at one of the condominiums this past weekend. Only observation was the front desk for checking in and out was less than friendly and helpful. It's too bad they lacked enthusiasm to welcome or thanks guests. Most likely will not come again

Fortunately, the home I stayed in is owned privately and is not managed at all by Suncadia - staying there was a very pleasant and clean experience. However, This review is for the spa - unbelievably expensive for what it is and how poorly it's maintained. The staff - from the front desk, to the therapists, to general maintenance staff - all seemed so burned out. There were also several groups of women in the locker rooms that were way over served alcohol - I don't criticize serving alcohol at spas (although i do think it's counter intuitive) but if you are going to promote wellness, please consider not over serving your guests. Also every piece of furniture, carpet or wall seems to have a massive chunks missing, was oddly stained and was overall just in horribly poor condition. There was black mold in the showers both on the walls and the curtain. I could honestly go on, but just want to say this is absolutely not worth your money. At all. I would visit the private home again in a heartbeat but will never visit the spa again. I also worry about the condition of the lodge or any space that is in Suncadias care. Reading the other comments does not surprise me at all and believe every single person who had a terrible, unclean, unsafe experience. Also just a general statement that it is very sad to see how much construction is happening in this beautiful area. One day it will be unrecognizable - the animals will have no where to go and the trees will be gone. Extremely heart breaking.

WARNING: Do not stay in Room 3017 at the Suncadia Resort Inn. There is substantial water damage to the kitchen floor and the carpet in the bedroom. A person could trip over the raised wood in the kitchen and/or the carpet which is not properly secured to the bedroom floor. It's not worth the $500 a night to stay inn that room. The owner is inviting an accident to happen and you AND Suncadia are now on notice. WARNING: Some of the rooms (like 3017) are owned by private owners. The Suncadia Resort does NOT take responsibility for making these privately owned rooms safe. That is an " OWNER RESPONSIBILITY" according to the front desk of Suncadia. Room 3017 stunk! But, (says front desk staff) that was not Suncadia's problem to solve as it was not OWNED by Suncadia. What BS! WARNING: the room service is lousy. The workers are understaffed, overworked and underpaid. That is a MANAGEMENT issue. We are not faulting the workers. WARNING: don't buy a 6 pack of beer from their store. It was not worth the $37.15. What a rip! POSITIVE THINGS: the food was great. The food servers were .friendly and attentive. The view from the rooms magnificent. We found most the staff friendly and nice. We were pleased SUGGESTIONS: If you are going to stay there, do NOT stay in a unit owned by a private owner. Ask before you book a room. You will likely get a nicer (non private owner unit) AND more attention for room service. And, don't ever buy their $37.00 six pack of beer.

We stayed during their fall festival weekend. Upon arrival, we were not greeted, and the staff seemed more focused on their own cell phones than on assisting guests. We had to seek out a staff member who was on their phone just to get our car key back as the staff from the front disappeared, this was at about 4:30p in the afternoon. The rooms fell short of even basic expectations; having only two pillows per bed might be acceptable at a motel, but it's disappointing at a resort. There were no fridges in the rooms, and although an ice bucket was provided, there was no visible location to get ice. Hospitality was severely lacking, with employees constantly on their phones, rarely greeting guests, and showing minimal effort to open doors or be attentive. This lack of presence from the staff suggests a serious management problem.

Stayed there for spring break vacation at Suncadia resort Lodge hotel it went okay I guess

My wife and I stayed at Suncadia Resort the nights of May 5 and 6, 2023, while attending a convention being held at Suncadia Resort. The first thing we noticed was that the doors (2 of them) were not automatic which is difficult when handling luggage (there was no one to handle the luggage or the doors). The next thing that we noticed was that our room was not a handicapped room (we requested this primarily to obtain the taller toilet). This was not all that bad but then we looked around and found dented walls, missing baseboard moldings, urine drops dried on the toilet, filthy and worn carpets, and wicker furniture that should have been sent to the landfill months ago, and the surface where the coffee maker was located was missing most of the finish on the wood. The wicker furniture had broken wicker and staples sticking out of the arms. I have pictures of all of these issues and can post them if needed. Then on Saturday when we got back to our room it had not been made up, no fresh coffee cups, wine glasses or replacement coffee pods - it had not been touched. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone for a "touch-up". We left and when we returned 3 hours later (about 8 PM), nothing had been done. I then went to the front desk and asked for fresh coffee mugs, wine glasses and more coffee pods. I was told that they would be sent over (keep in mind that in 3 hours nothing had been done) that they did not have them available to the front desk. I said I wanted them now. Luckily there was an employee walking by who said he could get them for me. I returned to our dirty room with the supplies. In talking to others at the convention, they were told that the practice at hotels now was not to make up rooms for 2- or 3-night stays. However, I heard some maids (if that is the proper term) talking about doing up the rooms for "stay overs". I took that to mean that some of the rooms were made up for people staying over, but not all. It has been a while since I have stayed at a Hyatt (I have been staying at Marriott Hotels) but this is a big change from my previous experience and I am not planning to chance staying at another Hyatt. I sent this review to both Hyatt Hotels and Suncadia Resort. I did not get a reply from either. I just want to make everyone aware of my experience with Hyatt hotels.

I cannot recommend this resort at all! Although the room was nice, it is by far the noisiest resort I have ever stayed at. Our room was next to TWO loud doors that banged shut day and night (one right outside our door to the hallway, and another out the back with a heavy banging door to a main entryway) we asked to be relocated twice but never heard back from the hotel staff/management. Also, the resort and all amenities were overrun with small very noisy children adding to the horrific banging doors. Would NOT recommend this place for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway. If you enjoy cesspools full of toddlers this is for you. Tried to get some peace at the spa and tried the salt body scrub, but the shower to rinse off had no warm water and so had to shower off with cold water! Once I finally warmed up enough to proceed with the rest of the treatment, the therapist finished up with cold lotion! And they automatically charge you 20% gratuity for the shockingly inadequate service! Oh, and the restaurant was closed for remodel, and the elevators did not work. Extremely disappointing in every single aspect of what a resort experience should offer.

We purchased a condo there and the real-estate agent kept saying the room was rented and couldn't be seen so he fed us a bunch of garbage

The resort was great, the staff and restaurants were great. The room wasn't too clean so I did have to ask for some additional cleaning but not a big deal. My main issue is with the lodge pool... what an amazing facility... If only a shred of shade was provided. I get that maybe there are no umbrellas because of the lovely summer breeze, but then build some coverage. Instead, everyone who went there was practically on the hunt for shade. We only got to experience the pool one day because the second day was too crowded so the two shady spots were taken. Overall disappointing for such a large resort.

Good room but the "ice skating rink" was not actually ice it was "GLICE" which means it was plastic. So no actual skating. Pretty disappointing given it cost an extra $16 from the already pretty overpriced room. It was pure plastic with water on it, basically $16 for nothing, which was an extra cost from being at the resort.

We had a great stay at suncadia over the weekend! The staff was very helpful with booking hotel/spa on the phone and everything was smooth and wonderful upon arrival. They left a complimentary champagne and cheese plate for my husbands birthday even! We cant wait to come back! Beautiful area, great food, great views! I

The service you get for $1000. The hotel is falling apart, it is not what it once was. It's time for renovation of the hotel and training for new staff members. We are Hyatt members...it has become a stretch to say that Suncadia meets the Hyatt brand anymore. Hotel- We hope you enjoyed your stay at Suncadia. How would you rate your stay 1-5 (5 being the highest)? Guest- 3- There is black mold in room 4065 around the tub. The tub in 2069 does not drain. Also, I paid $500 for a river view, but got the view of a roof. Hotel- Hi there. I apologize for the issues, I can send someone up to 4065 to clean. As far as 2069 and 4065, those are both river side rooms here at the lodge. All of our ODD numbered rooms are on the river side of the building Guest- room 2069 is not a view of a river, it is a view of the hotel's roof. Hotel- I will look to see if there are other river side rooms available besides that one, however we are pretty booked for the weekend here at the lodge, especially on our river side rooms. Guest- We will be checked out in the morning. I know there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. But, thank you for offering. @9pm- someone shows up at door with a plunger to fix black mold and tub‍ (UGH!)

We spent a few nights here as a quick getaway and to take advantage of the last remaining days of summer. The resort is beautiful and way bigger than we realized. We stayed in a lodge unit which was spacious and had a full kitchen which was necessary with a baby. We were told to stay away from the on-site restaurant (Portals) and dined out at Swiftwater and various restaurants in Roslyn/Cle Elum. Upon checking in, we were disappointed to find out the Thomas Family Farm Pool was closed and our only options were the small lodge pool and the fitness center pool. We made the best of it, but it would've been good to know prior to booking.

I wish there was a negative star rating. The management at this dive resort are absolute liars. We had to complain on our arrival evening due to a 6:30pm check in delay and two homes with dysfunctional Air Conditioning and no fans to loan. The evening manager had nothing but excuses and promises that they now refuse to fulfill. No free night as promised and the resort fee was not waived for the entire trip as they promised. Again, these were their offerings because they could not solve the oppressive heat and the late evening checkin. Let alone the groceries that spoiled from sitting in the heat waiting for our keys. Avoid this tourist rap at all costs. This is no exaggeration folks, total lies and deceptions to get you away from the lodge. Next time I experience this type of crap service I will hit the bastard button until they take action to find solutions.

Terrible customer service. Booked a room on their website but when making the reservation it didn't state it was a non-refundable room. And, cancellation policy on their website states you can cancel within 7 days. No mention of a non-refundable room. Here's the policy: " DEPOSITS / CANCELLATIONS Lodge, Inn and Condos Cancellation Policy: You must cancel at least seven days prior to arrival or the full value of the reservation is charged. The full value equals the entire guest room reservation amount (including resort fee). Once you are within seven days of arrival, the reservation becomes non-refundable and non-transferable." Beware-and read the fine print!

I've come here around 3 or 4 times now Nice to relax because I work 24/7 Very friendly people, good food. Safeway is close by if you are staying a while Idk what everyone has complaints about, maybe I've went during the "good times" There's nothing like coffee and French toast in the morning while staring at 10,000 trees

We had a great time despite some issues. (Came in with lower forgiving attitude as businesses across the nation struggle with the hopefully temporary lack of workers and resulting issues.) At just about an hour from greater Seattle area, Suncadia is a resort that is an easy getaway with various rentals for couples, families, reunions & friends for a couple days to long term stays. +1-866-904-6300 Availability must check availability of activity and facility since some things are currently not open due to COVID or lack of staffing, which also accounts for some hit & miss quality here (but also around many businesses across the nation these difficult days.) Condo Rentals Trailhead Condominiums from 780-1290sq ft 1 or 2 bdrm condos for 2-8ppl Homes Rentals are comfortable, well designed, well-kept, & comes in various sizes (with many more in the process of being built) from 2-6 bedrooms that can fit 7-20 people. Kitchens are well equipped. (No salt though.) Washing machine & dryer with detergent & softener. Can read about each home on the website since there are differences but ours (@ 81 Miner's Camp Way) had a Grill, Outdoor seating area, a hot tub & ping pong table. Inn has 18 pet friendly rooms (390sq ft studio, suites) without any resort kitchen for 2-4ppl. Slightly cheaper than the Lodge Lodge have 254 rooms (450 sq ft studio, 1 or 2 bdrm, apt like penthouse). Lodge Studio has sofa, coffee table, desk, fireplace, coffee machine, resort kitchen (minifridge, microwave, toaster, 2 burner range, plates &utensils). Deluxe studio has no kitchen. Usb or accessible outlet only at the desk & none by the bed. Activities archery, axe throwing , drive-in movie, kayaking, moped rentals, seasonal/holiday events (Oct '21 5K event, gardening class, art class), yoga class, playgrounds/basketball courts, skate rentals (roller blade/roller skate) trails, 2hr ATV & sidexside motor guided tour through trails, Wellness in the Wilderness health & fitness inspired classes, Summer Activities (Sunday farmers market, outdoor concerts at Nelson & at the Village Pavilion) Golf Courses 1. Can reserve services online. If you require A/C, must confirm! ...because we rented 2 homes and it turned out 1 home didn't have A/C and only had fans. Amazing that website page for this house doesn't mention this important fact. Turns out IF homes l have A/C then they list it as an additional amenity but no mention they don't have if they don't. With temperatures expected close to 100 degrees, we had to spend the time waiting and talking with the front desk. We got refunded for the house and without another one available, we got a couple of lodge rooms instead.

Nice accommodations - however extremely overpriced for Cle Ellum Washington. Not sure why out in the middle of Nowhere with nothing close by justified these costs! Did have an outdoor band one night that was good- but on a Friday night there must have been total 20 people in attendance. And then the band members kids were running around being obnoxious. Restaurant food prices were higher than what the quality should have dictated. I can now say that I have been. But if I am going to spend that kind of $$$$$. Might as well just go to Tahoe where at least it's warranted.

What a disappointment this hotel has become. I've stayed here years ago and had a good experience. Now it's like staying in a three star hotel off the freeway. If you are looking for a luxury experience this is 100% NOT it. The staff is mediocre and helps you as little as possible. The hotel is being remodeled and the way they have things set up for the guests is highly inconvenient. We had to go outside to a food truck to get our coffee in the morning, it was about 30 degrees and snow. We tried to get help from the valet and couldn't find him. Even after the hotel texted him he stayed off to a corner talking to a buddy and drinking a Red Bull. I will never stay at this lodge again or at any suncadia property. Go stay at a Hilton close by.

Favorite winter time tradition for our family. If you are visiting seattle from out of town and enjoy the outdoors, golf and fresh air the spring and summer are perfect times to visit. If your looking for a relaxing winter spot during the holidays or after, look no further. Suncadia is the best!!!

I have been coming to suncadia ice rink in the winter for almost 10 years and it has always been a slippery speedy blast. Upon arrival we were devastated and confused by the sight of the new this year fake plastic 'glice' rink. If we knew we were going to a child size roller rink we would have brought our roller-skates. This was a joke. The guy working there was nice and accommodating, but skating on dirty wet plastic for 16$ was my nightmare.

This place is overrun with children. The furniture, walls and anything in arms reach is beat up and destroyed. Real Capital and Lowes bought out Oak Tree's share of Suncadia for 43m in 2021. Now the managing partners are hoping for more suckers to buy the real estate (1200 plats remain) and hope they won't notice the decaying infrastructure that hasn't been updated since 2007! If you don't mind dirty, this is the place for you to buy a million dollar home.

Oh what fun!! I've always seen my friends visit this place. It never really interested me till now. We are super walkers/hikers this year. And this place is just perfect for pandemic getaway! This place is in the mountains and next to the wind tunnels. So brace yourself. We got the river view king at the lodge: which was the main building and holy wid! It's on the edge! It is super crazy windy!!! But the views are insane. They gave us the wrong category room first but got it switched after. Easy switch. Place was kept cleaned. Contactless check in. Lobby was stunning with that mountain backdrop. They have a separate entrance for dogs which wasn't too far. And the room! Baci loves the room. The balcony, the views! The sunlight! We were so excited we could barely stay in. All those stairs were calling our names too. We did 55 flights of stairs 3 times a day. 21 flights to go down/get back plus additional stairs. Glutes on fire batman! The staff was there but never close enough. Which was ok since it's pandemic. Takes a bit to get some requested things to our room. But texting them is much faster. We also got our hyatt explorer perks! Bed was comfortable. We love the nature! It gets pitch dark here at night, making all the stars very visible. They do have firepits you can go down and use. But even now in Summer, it was 100 degrees during the day and temperature dropped to almost 30 degrees at night! Plus they have a lot of animals around: fox, coyotes, bunnies! Snake! Best to stay in I supposed. They also have many pools. Nelson pool being the most popular. I texted for my reservation: you get 1.5 hours for your slot. A no show is around $30 per person. I ended up skipping it. There were a few pools near the lodge too. But cant be too careful with covid I guess. The pool also have limited occupancy these days to accommodate covid. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here! So much so that we came back! It is quite hard to reach front desk/bell desk or any desk. So bring things you need. For food, just go down to the portal. There's a bar in the lobby too which was a ok. Better drive to Swift water if you want wine that's not gonna be overcharged 200x. Price is also reasonable around $250-$283 per room (for non suites) Oh and pet fees is $75 per stay! Doesn't matter how many days you stay! But the views!! The stairs! Even the wind. It's just amazing. I cant wait to bring Baci back during winter and enjoy all things snow covered!

We stayed at the Inn at Suncadia for our wedding anniversary/Mother's Day. We had an AMAZING experience. First off at check in we were given a free bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. Everyone was friendly and answered all of our questions. Once we got to out room we walked in and it was huge. Like a large studio apt. The first night there we ate at Village Pizza in Roslyn. Definitely a must try and they deliver to the resort. Day 2 we had reservations at Glade Spa. When we entered we were greeted right away and someone walked us through the spa so we knew what to expect. We had a great experience but its really over priced. We loved the hot springs!! When it comes to breakfast they really don't offer much unless you go to Roslyn. Roslyn is maybe 5 mins away but it would be nice to have something in the resort. We had lunch at the Stovehouse which in located on the 1st floor of the Inn. They have elevated bar food is what I'd call it and it overlooks the golf course. The food was yummy and the service was great even on Mother's Day. Dinner we went to the winery Swiftwater Cellars. Again food & service there was great. Beautiful view of another golf course. Overall our experience was great!! Tons of hiking, biking and swimming. Beautiful views of the Cle Elum River. From the back of the lodge there is a beautiful staircase that goes down to the river. Be ready to climb. its 1,000 steps (23 floors) it says. Tips: Make reservations for all of your meals ahead of time. Make Reservations for swimming at least 48 hrs before you go. Hope this helps when planning your next trip.

We had high hopes for our trip to Suncadia. The activities around the resort were great, our kids loved the park, the Harvest Festival, and the hike down to the river. The hotel was underwhelming given the price. The outdoor pool was out of service, which most resorts would have credited you back something for. The new pool was closed for the season. The room was dated and falling apart in some areas. The curtains had stains on them, the carpet was coming up in some places, and the dishwasher was broken. Despite it being a busy weekend, they were not staffed appropriately. If you wanted room service, you would have to call a dozen times to finally get through. When housekeeping skipped our room, I had to go to the front desk because no one would answer. When I got there, they didn't have a long line or anything that would excuse the lack of availability and when I asked if I could speak with a manager, there was not one on staff. The property really has so much potential. They need to update the property and hire and train staff to be customer-focused. The food is another big issue, particularly for families. The food options are either a high-end dining restaurant or a cafe, which apparently closes early on Sundays. There is also a pizza place near by that will either take 90 minutes to deliver or you have to go and pick it up. If you are coming with your kids, pack everything you want to eat. Lastly, the customer service is all around crappy and shocking given the cost to stay. It was always someone else's job. I later found out that each department has its own manager but there is no GM of the entire property. This is the issue. How can you expect to give customers a quality experience if no one is on the same page. Clearly, reading the other reviews, I am not alone in my assessment. If you want a great place to go with the kids, go to Seabrook - food is great, customer service is great, houses are clean, etc.

We had stayed at Suncadia's sister resort in Oregon (Sunriver) and were excited to visit Suncadia in Washington for the first time. It's a gorgeous area with lots of hiking trails, rivers, and lakes for outdoor recreation. On the downside: (1) Unlike Sunriver, there is very little in the way of restaurants, shopping, or sightseeing. The two nearby towns, Cle Elum and Roslyn, are tiny with few retail options. The several restaurants we tried were super disappointing. (2) The resort itself seems to be trending more and more in the direction of "exclusivity," with one of the two pools and certain other facilities reserved for home owners only. (3) The fitness center is terrible. It's in an upstairs loft area above the indoor pool. Even during very cool days, it was so hot as to be unusable, and basic gym equipment (e.g., lat pulldown machine) was lacking. (4) we ate twice at The Source, the restaurant at the Lodge. Service was terrible. Each time it literally took 50 minutes from the time our order was taken for our drinks to come to the table. The second time we finally went up to the bar ourselves after 45 minutes and the bartender had not even seen our order yet. The food service was similarly slow. (5) Inexcusably, our rental house was FILTHY. There was a USED DIAPER under one of the beds. The floors and carpets were covered with long white dog hair which got all over our clothes. We asked for someone to come over and vacuum; a young guy who had no idea about housecleaning came by and rolled a large long roller over the floor, to little effect. Closet shelves were dusty. The whole place needed a thorough cleaning top to bottom. Overall score, B-.

Overpriced? Yes, but totally worth it. This this place wonderful. Tons of trails and outdoor things to do.

Beware of Cancelation Policies of Airbnb management. They are a 3rd party group working with Evolve Property Management of this resort. I had to cancel my reservation and did it one day to late before receiving a 50% refund. The only way to get out was to make another reservation for the same dates and then reschedule for future date. Trying this, the room ended up being booked for the same date. The Evolve team mentioned their cancelation policy was all they could offer, which was a 20% refund. They ended up making 180% more for the room. I spoke with a lawyer and even though their cancelation policy isn't clear, they wouldn't pursue my case. The lawyer mentioned they are hearing more and more of these cases. I would not use AirBnB or Evolve ever again. Avoid Evolve Property Management altogether. They simply are in it for the money and do not care about the customer. Better off staying at a hotel in case you need to cancel for whatever reason. Terribly awful customer service Although -- AirBnB's customer service was a little better but didn't help as they have no control due to being 3rd party booking agency. Basically, they mentioned I should take the deal of rebooking the room for the same dates and reschedule even though I mentioned the room was already booked. Who really reads a cancelation policy when your planning an enjoyable weekend excursion. I encourage everyone to write reviews to really understand either bad or good experiences.

Booked a stay for the pool. Emailed the hotel two days before arriving to check on the status of the pool. Was directed to the website for pool news. Website looks good. Arrive two days later, ask about pool hours, "open until xpm". Go to room, call front desk about about pool towels "they are at the pool, you don't need to bring any". Walk in cold to pool with two kids. Arrive at pool. It's closed. The pool staff inform us that the closure was scheduled. Go back to front desk ask them about pool closure. They "only knew this mornin. Confront them on the time being 4pm now and I checked in an hour ago and called down. Crickets. Leave hotel because more comfortable at home and no pool. Then begins the fight for days to get *some* of my money back. This resort is a pig wearing lipstick. Someone should plant bed bugs eggs (easy to purchase online) in an open room with housekeeping next time they drive through this cluster. Carpet beetles, too.

Beautiful beautiful place but my 1star review is all due to the customer service aspect. My cousin and I and decided last minute to travel from Seattle for a day trip. We booked our reservation and once we got there we had to wait 2 hours for a room ..that was not stated anywhere. When checking in the front desk people are so rude and don't give you any information don't even mention what time check out is or gave me a receipt when checking in or out. When I would past the desk they don't greet you or anything they just pretend to be busy lol but when no one is at the desk the workers are just in a circle talking among them selves. Besides the views and pool it's not worth it ..also why did the fridge alarm go off at 3am and would not stop going off I was furious it woke me up from my sleep all I was advised was to unplug the fridge which caused our food to go bad ..plus the phones in the room don't work so I had to call myself from my phone ..william wasn't helpful he said there wasn't anything they could do besides wait for the maintenance person in the morning he offered me 10% off the room with a $50 voucher ..that was later never applied. Besides feeling like you're the only POC there & the horrible customer service I will never return to this POS

We've been going to Suncadia for years and, while the service and accommodations were always mediocre at best, we continued to stay there because we enjoyed the amenities. However, after Suncadia implemented a resort fee that is an additional 15 PERCENT of the guestroom rate, I just can't. The inclusions have the same value, no matter the time of year - yet if you stay during peak times, it's an additional premium on top of the already exorbitant rates considering the quality. Shame on you, Suncadia, for employing this underhanded tactic to boost rates.

It's best to avoid this place for the next year until management proves they have addressed safety issues; they're still recovering for this summer's fire. The staff is indifferently inattentive, trails are closed for construction, and the indoor pool is "temporarily" closed. Disappointing all around. Secondly, I provided a credit card upon check-in for miscellaneous charges. The hotel accounting staff, however, used my credit card for two sets of subsequent guests. Several phone calls were required to resolve this problem.

Fantastic midweek getaway. The service is fantastic and Sam was an awesome ax throwing instructor - he even stayed late so we could keep having fun. The walking trails are fantastic and the entire midweek experience was amazing. We even had the entire spa to ourselves for 3 hours.

My review is not for the lodge or resort itself but actually for the Ski Shop which is located in the Prospector Golf Pro Shop. We visited the ski shop so we could rent cross country skis. The reason for my 5-star review is twofold: First, the entire process of renting skis and hitting the trail was incredibly easy and smooth. We were in and out in a matter of minutes. Second, they had an amazing employee in the shop named Austin who was so helpful. We were beginning skiers and asking him some very basic questions ("are there right and left skis?") and he was friendly, patient, and graceful in responding to all of them. Well done Austin! Besides skis you can also rent snow shoes from the shop, and they have sleds available for purchase. Thanks to Austin I also found out that they sell something called a snowball launcher.

My husband & I stayed in the Suncadia Inn June 13-16, 2022. We were highly anticipating a wonderful stay. Our room was big and spacious, but not very clean. The carpets were stained and the furniture was as well. And, according to ads, there were spectacular mountain views. We had the parking lot. We had to borrow water glasses from the restaurant. In our three days our room was never refreshed. You'd think for nearly $400 per night we'd receive some service. Finding coffee was nearly impossible. There is a coffee bar at the lodge, but not fun walking in rain and wind, when the parking lot was full. Over-all, limited hospitality. The property is beautiful with lots of activities, but we will not return.

The resort grounds are beautiful. The lodge rooms are a bit worn but still lovely. We stayed in a 1 bedroom room. It had a beautiful view. However our room was filthy. I had to clean the refrigerator in order to put our food in it. The kitchen floor was not swept let alone mopped. The shower grout was covered in mold. The kitchen and the bathroom sinks had mold around rhe drains. The walls all needed a good cleaning. There were dead bugs on the walls in the kitchen. I cleaned the walls and all the dishes, so I could actually prepare a meal and eat in there. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. The area is beautiful. Pick a different place to stay. As a tourist all we really want is a clean place to stay.

Stayed here Labor Day weekend. I am extremely disappointed with this resort. None of the water features were even on. Jets in hot tub broken. If you book through a 3rd party, which we would have booked through the resort but it is impossible, they don't even give you the option to pay to use the pool or fitness center. Went to the spa. The service was terrible, and they automatically added a $30.00 gratuity each. Told them to remove it. Restuarant prices are way to high for the quality. They have great walking trails with lots of things available to be rented. Just seems a little pricey to not be taking care of the place.
