Suncoast Hotel and Towers

Staff was friendly. Rooms were good. My only gripe were the chiffon curtains - lovely but impractical to keep the morning light out. I understand it was sea view unit but there's really no need to have such thin curtains. There was also a lamp that seemed (could be an us thing of not finding the off switch) to always be on. I had to pull out the room key to turn it off which turned off the power and meant my phone didn't charge. Either than that we had a good time.

The hotel is clean and smells good. It is in a good location with a direct enterance into Suncoast. The room we were given was not the room that was showed in the pictures. The room should have had a bathtub as seen on the pictures for the room on trip.com, but the room does not have a bathtub. It's very disappointing considering that I booked it for the bathtub. When I went to ask reception about it, all she did was say that it is trip.com's fault for using the wrong pictures. She then offered me a room with a bathtub, but we had to pay more. I didn't take her offer, how can they ask a customer to pay more when they made the mistake and have the product shown incorrectly? The room did not have toothbruhes. I had to ask at reception for two toothbrushes,they only gave me one and said that they will send another one to the room later. The toothbrush never came. At check in I had signed for room 327, but at that time the room was not ready. Eventually while we waited we got the key cards and it had two numbers written on the envelope- 327 and 329. 327 had a single line going through it so we naturally assumed the room is 329.The door didn't open when we inserted the card into 329 but it did open on room 327. While we were sitting in the room I was contacting trip.com's customer service and someone else just managed to open the door with their card. Later, the reception called us and told us to just stay in that room because they had messed up. There is some construction happening on the one floor of the hotel and it is an eyesore to look at from the upper level, tiles are removed there id furniture still there covered in dust. Overall, this hotel is extremely overpriced and the location is not enough to justify the highprice. Other hotels charge less and actually have rooms with bathtubs as advertised. Stay here if you are looking for disappointment and a money waster.

I never thought I was going to spend so much money for games for my child..... If they can decrease the money for games a little bit it will be better

Absolutely loved my stay at Suncoast Hotel! From the moment I checked in, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and the beds are unbelievably comfortable — I slept like a dream! The buffet is not worth it. The lamb was cold and the dishes weren't very tasty, especially the curries. Buffet selection was small, dessert was stale, and service was absolutely slow. It wasnt busy took a while to top up the dishes had to ask them to refill the crab as there where only legs. I had 10 guests was faster to walk to the bar to get drinks. Wont be going back

We are so glad we stayed here even just for one night, the lady at front desk for check-in is superb, the room is modern, comfortable and clean! The service is top notch, breakfast has lots of selection and cappuccino is so on point!! Location is amazing, right beside the ocean with great views!! Wish we could stay longer next time if we visit SA again!!

I stayed in room to 203 on the 5,6 and 7th December, on departure day, I took my bags down to the car, checked out and while in the parking lot remembered I left my 18ct Gold chain in the room, went back to the room within 20 min, housekeeping was in the room, looked for my chain where I left it, it was gone. All within 20 minutes, contacted hotel management and advised them, they did polygraph test and the lady passed, end of story. No accountability from the hotel for my missing item yet it happened while I was on the hotel property.
