Sundance and Friends

This is such a lovely shop! Anytime we’re in town my husband and I stop at Joyful cafe and Sundance and Friends. I found the cutest gold earrings here, and the jewelry selection is beautiful. I also accidentally left my purse in the park across the street, and Phoebe went out of her way to get it and mail it back to me—so kind and thoughtful!

Really impressed with the young lady working the evening of January 19 and 20. I was in Buena Vista for my daughter's wedding. My brother-in-law was interested in a ukulele at this store so I accompanied him to the store. I immediately focused on a turquoise necklace. My wife had been wanting a turquoise product for a couple years and I found the perfect necklace for her. Unfortunately I had forgotten my wallet at the house and the young lady put it on hold for me. I was able to go back the next evening and she had it waiting for me and gave me all the details of who made it and it was quite a wonderful purchase and my wife really enjoyed it

Popped into this little shop on a whim and found it full of quality, hand made artisan items, many by local or Colorado artists! The staff was wonderfully attentive and knowledge on the products and helped on picking out the perfect pair of incredible, hand-made leather moccasins - a family craft of over 50 years! Beautiful place to get unique, authentic gifts that has a story behind each one!

Stopped by while visiting BV on a trip and loved seeing all the local artisan goods. I especially loved their handcrafted guitars and ukuleles that the staff allowed me to play. If I had a bit more disposable income, I would have definitely walked out with one of those instruments.

I found a nice piece of wall art that was marked with a price tag for $95.00. When I went to pay for it I was told that it was actually $150! Classic bait and switch! They lost a customer

Perhaps the best specialty gift shop with exquisite high-end, high-quality products I've ever seen assembled in a single shop. Fantastic, attentive, and knowledgeable staff and thoughtful service. It was such a memorable experience that I would seriously consider returning to Buena Vista from Austin just to shop!

This is a wonderful local artesian shop. We just stopped in and were taken aback by the incredible selection of one of a kind jewelry, paintings, wood carved pieces, and even hand made ukuleles. We found a wonderful necklace with Colorado’s state mineral of rhodochrosite that was made by the extremely friendly woman who greeted us and rang us up (I regret not catching her name). Ever item has a unique story, and they have the details for each. Wonderful! My picture of my wife’s necklace doesn’t do it justice.

My friend came in here looking for new shoes and left with new shoes. I was an observer of the entire process and was very impressed. Now I am sad I don't have a pair of my own. I just wasn't in the market to get shoes that day. Didn't feel I should keep spending money since I just spent $65+ for lunch :(. But...now I wish that I did. Service was incredible while he listened and provided options for what she was looking for. The best thing that we both loved is that they were made here. Family owned business that hasn't sold out to them being made in China. Yea!!! Just thinking about it now makes me excited all over again. So when I have a few extra bucks, I will be heading back that way for a pair of my own.

Four stars for the service by a clerk who was knowledgeable about the boots. Four stars for the ambiance. Four stars because I have a happy wife with new boots made in Colorado. + Wi-Fi. + Husband's Chair. - Clerk's attitude about Yelp. "We have customer reviews on our website." Oh, you mean the website that only someone who was already familiar with your business will find?

Beautiful handmade jewelry with unique designs and gemstones. I bought a lovely pair of moonstone earrings and my sister found the perfect pair of turquoise earrings. My husband bought an awesome pair of handmade leather mocs. We were lucky to leave without buying more and more items as they were so lovely and tempting!

I got married in Buena Vista last weekend. I had seen some earrings at Sundance that I liked but I live out of town and didn't buy them my first time in the store. I emailed them and they were so nice. They took my photo of my necklace and custom made me 3 pairs and said I can just come in and pick my favorite. The earrings were perfect and beautiful, and made with real pearls (I was expecting fake for some reason.) I'm eternally grateful. I waited until it could have been too late to go shopping and I'm soooo happy with how they turned out and the way Sundance was so generous.
