Easy to walk to the university and the craft fair. Great cafes nearby. The wifi is fabulous. The service and value and welcoming family feel has been consistent since I first started coming in 2002. Parabens to the owner, Denis - great job!

I have stayed at Sundown over the years and it has been consistent. It is small which I think gives it a friendly atmosphere and the customer service is very good. One is treated with respect and given attention. It is clean and hospitable. The rooms are comfortable and have mosquito nets. The shower though is very small. There is a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. The food is good (especially the steak) and they bake their bread.

Great place to stay and easy access to shops and stores

We stayed a week at Sundown and had a great time. It's conveniently located and provides a quiet surrounding. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The lounge and dining areas are nicely decorated, and have a real home-like feeling to them. Finally, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We couldn't have wished for anything more, and would recommend for anyone visiting Maputo!

I came in from the airport fairly late, so it was a pleasant surprise that the drive over was so short. The room was spacious and clean, quite nice, but unfortunately there was no hot water. Staff were helpful, it's in a quiet area, can't really ask for more!
