Excellent coffee with excellent staff! Small shop with a great vibe. Great music overhead with excellent conversation if you have the time. If not it’s definitely worth a visit for an independently owned local shop.

Staying at a downtown hotel on business and walked my way here for an awesome cup of coffee on a Friday morning. They use awesome high end coffee beans so you can taste quality. I had planned on coming here for coffee every morning but sadly they aren’t open on the weekends. Had to go elsewhere and the coffee was not as good.

In Louisville for work and found this coffee shop which seemed promising based on reviews. I had an iced dirty chai and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The coffee was exceptional and the service and atmosphere were spot on.

Wow, just wow. Rivals the best coffee I’ve had from places like Portland and Scandinavia (where I get Kaffe Box subscription)…. I got their drip with no expectations. Had to buy a bag immediately. Totally unexpected as I was in town for only 24 hours…. I have already ordered 2 more lbs online since returning!

My New Favorite Spot! First time popping into Sunergos and yowza, what a find! The vibe here is chill, and the staff are super friendly. I had one of the best cups of coffee ever — seriously, it was smooth and packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

If you work downtown and only have a few minutes to get a cup of coffee, this is the perfect kind of place! We are fortunate to have several good locally-based shops in the Central Business District, and this is one of the better ones. The baristas are very friendly and work quickly. It is a small space inside, so don't be intimidated by a line out the door. You will get your coffee. I've had a few different types of lattes, but their summer special, coconut, is my absolute favorite. It's going away soon to make way for fall seasonal, so I'll be there at least one more time this week. If you are looking for a place to leisurely sip coffee and get some work done, there is a table outside along 5th Street. But otherwise, this is a get-in and get-out shop, which for me on many mornings is exactly what I'm looking for.

This is a nice but small little coffee shop. No indoor seating, but a couple of tables outside. They clearly display the beans they use for their two options of brewed coffee and their espresso. I ordered the cappuccino and was very pleased to see they know what they're doing. The cappuccino was very good.

I've officially been to all Sunergos locations, unless they decide to expand. We walked in here about 30 minutes before closing on a Friday just before World Fest. It wasn't busy. We were the only ones in there. It's a small space. Mostly for grabbing your coffee to-go. There are two small tables outside though. I can see this place getting busy, since it mostly serves the workers downtown. I ordered a 12oz iced coffee with almond milk and a pump of vanilla. Yum! Never fails. It was honestly almost $5! I support local, but I can't lie that Starbucks actually makes this same exact drink at almost half the price. I order a grande at Starbucks and it's almost $3. My sister got the guava lemonade coffee soda. A seasonal drink. It's got guava juice, fizzy lemonade, and espresso. Fantastic! I'm not sure if I'll be able to return to this location but I will most certainly be at the other locations around the city!

Popped into Sunergos for a quick iced oat latte to go. Service was good! My latte was up in a flash and we were on our way. This is a tiny spot, but I'm not the sit in a coffee shop all day to mix and mingle, work or read type. I want my coffee to taste good, do it's magic and I don't require much more. If you're my local shop, know my name and order after a few visits, easy peasy! I wouldn't rule out returning in the future, in fact I'm on the hunt for every single amazing coffee shop in Louisville so please send them my way.

Sunergos is my favorite coffee weather in a shop or at home. They do a top notch job. The 5th street location is small but they are mighty. The guys there are phenomenal men filled with energy and great taste in tunes. If you need quick cup of joe this is the best place to stop in. Tiny fun coffee shop downtown! No seating inside, just a small counter top to stand at while you wait. Really friendly service and a small variety of drinks that are well-made. I had a caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso and the entire balance of the drink was perfect. The hot coffee at the downtown location was amazing. I never say that because I actually don't like coffee that much and generally require booze in it. I did get some chocolate in this one, but it wasn't all that sweet. So delicious, no booze required. My husband had the caramel variety and it was also super good. The employees were very nice, upbeat, friendly, cute and talented with their froth designs. I wish I lived in Louisville for this place alone.

This Sunergos Coffee location is great! I have an office downtown that's walkable to this spot, so I have visited on many occasions. This spot is small, without any seating, but if you need to enjoy your coffee inside there is a small bar near the front window where you can stand. All of my experience has been with grab-and-go orders, but that's never an issue because the baristas are super nice, really knowledgable, and always quickly prepare orders. I haven't tried much from their menu, but the items I have tried have been delicious. I really enjoy stopping here to grab iced white tea in the summer, or lattes in the colder months. Everything is always quickly and freshly prepared, so you can have a delicious beverage on the go. They also usually have a few bakery items on the counter, sometimes including bagels and/or some dessert options that they source from other local spots (like Nancy's Bagel Grounds). If you're in the area and looking for a good spot for coffee, I think this Sungergos Coffee is it!

I'm disappointed there is no roast date on the packaging. The age of the roast on the shelf will impact my purchases. Otherwise the flavor of the Ethiopian was bright and somewhat lemon. Quite enjoyable.

This downtown Sunergos is a little bitty thang in comparison to the big sprawling couch-bedecked, laptop-crowd pleasing locations elsewhere in the city. There will be no loitering here. Not because they mind loitering, rather there are just not many places to perch and hang out. However, the friendly knowledgable baristas are the same, and the coffee is consistently terrific. I'd rather come in for a cuppa here than anywhere else nearby. If only I could wedge a couch into this space, I'd be hard pressed to go back to the office.

I got an 8oz butterscotch seasonal coffee, and it was a blend of a cappuccino with a whole lot of sweetness - it was delicious. I have to give this place 4 stars because there was no seats, so it's just a place to swing by and get coffee to go - it's tiny!

I stopped in here before a meeting and I almost fell on my way in. Watch your step. Seriously, watch your step. That said, I was welcomed into the store and shown appreciation for my grace under stumbling pressure. I had a sweet craving and ordered a chocolate chip cookie. It was a little too sweet, but it hit the spot and gave me the sugar I needed for my next meeting. If I'm in the area and have more time, I will get a drink and I won't trip on the way in.

The venue is cozy and narrow. The employees are warm and engaging. The coffee game in this town, overall, sadly is pretty weak....so to speak. The S.O. and I both had a standard drip coffee. She takes hers black. I, the snowflake that I am, dumps my fair share of sugar and cream into mine. The condiments unfortunately didn't help in the flavor department. The coffee, while rich, had a very subtle 'chickory-like' flavor to it. Yeah, yeah, I know, most coffees should have this component to it. Mebbe just my snowflake roots showing through. The locals seem to be enamored with this company's coffee. Maybe I need to order something else, instead of the standard cheapskate drip beverage. My bad. Oh....EXCUSE ME!

I walked past this little coffee shop as I was exploring downtown Louisville. I decided to backtrack and give the shop a chance since I was out and about looking for things to do. The employee was very nice and helpful, I had her make something for me. She whipped up something with honey and it was amazing! Looking for a quick pick me up and Sunergos popped up. Not only was the staff super cool, my girlfriend may or may have not tripped walking out and they were both quick to help and brought out the first aid kit to take care of her. It was early ... way too early ... when I walked into Sunergos. But you wouldn't have known that from the barista. He was happy, upbeat and eager to help. There was no tiredness or fatigue in his voice despite it being just after 6:30 in the morning. And his cheeriness helped to boost my own morning mood. The coffee I'm sure didn't hurt either. Some other perky spots from this visit: * I gave him an order that could have tripped someone up, with a vanilla latte and a non-fat vanilla latte with extra flavoring. But he was able to fill these correctly, along with my coffee. * Love Sunergos coffee. It's strong without being over roasted. * This location also has baked goods from Please & Thank You. Woot! This Sunergos is tiny, but if you need coffee in a jiffy while downtown, this is a great place to go. And considering they're open early, you can't go wrong.

They always do an artistic design in each cup. Super friendly. You can also find them at the St. Matthews farmer's market on Saturday. If you have never tried Sunergos Coffee you totally should!

There is no seating. There, that is out of the way, and it doesn't hurt to know that. On sunny days I believe they put a pair of tables on the sidewalk, but this isn't "hang out with your laptop" land. That said, the people working there were very friendly, enthusiastic about telling me what they had to offer, and the coffee is fantastic. I am/was in town for work, but back in Los Angeles where I'm from, small batch roasting type craft coffee is everywhere. I would put a cup from Sunergos against any of my spots back home, and it would hold its ground (pun intended?) with all of them, and take the prize quite a few times as well. I will be going back with a few bags of their beans for sure. Oh, and kudos to whomever designed their logo, charming and distinctive without being overly (insert adj).

Very friendly! I was very glad to be warmly welcomed by the two dudes behind the bar, especially after a horrible experience at the nearby "Please & Thank You." I walked in right after a homeless man on crutches wandered in and asked to use the restroom. They were very kind and helpful to him and treated him as any other customer. He also purchased an espresso. Anyhow! Coffee was excellent both times and the vibes were good!
