Coming from the south and growing up on BBQ, their brisket was divine paired with their homemade sides of mac n cheese, beans, or potato salad! The PM special, trout dip, was also really delicious that we had to come back and check out the breakfast menu to get the korean bowl. Suffice to say, everything that I had was delicious! Food came out quick. The desserts and drinks were good. And the dining atmosphere was cozy for all types of groups and ages. Definitely looking forward to coming back again!

Google
I will go back to Montana to visit this sweet little Cafe! What a FIND!! Everything about my experience here was above the top. The staff was so welcoming & helpful with suggestions. The music was perfect, the atmosphere was comfortable & chill. The food was the most delicious I've had in a while. I had the Vegan Jerk Tofu bowl & the tofu was crisped on the edges absolutely perfectly. Everything else on my plate was just as tasty! The sauces were superb. Great selection of beverages & desserts too. If you’re in the West Glacier area, I hope you'll try this hidden gem. Next time I'll camp here so I can try breakfast too. 10 star restaurant imho.

My husband and I had breakfast here during our trip to Glacier National Park after a recommendation from our rafting guide, and we are so glad we did! This was some of the best food we had during our trip. It’s kind of off the beaten path and located at a campground near the west entrance of glacier, but it is so cute and the food was amazing. There is covered outdoor seating and when we went it was raining and they had the fire going so it was nice and cozy. Would highly recommend!! If we find ourselves back in this area we will definitely come back to the Sunflower Cafe. For any vegetarians, the selection was good and the food we got (both veggie) was awesome!

Gregory H.

Google
Not your average ‘camp ground restaurant’ - not even close. Sunflower is a rare gem! Funky and fun with excellent BBQ, local beers, and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Everything is laid back, but perfect after a day of hiking and exploring Glacier. Don’t miss this. It was our best meal in Glacier!

Margaret M.

Google
We stayed at glacier campground for 3-4 nights and was finally able to visit sunflower cafe on our way out to our next national park. We got the B&G and let me tell you! All from scratch. All delicious. A little on the salty side however my mom added even more salt - so it’s clearly just me 😂 Love the atmosphere and will be my go to stay when camping and visiting Glacier NP! The sunflower biscuit was the CUTEST I had to take a pic!

Nicholas K.

Google
This woodsy spot has great relaxing vibes and their kicking out pretty decent BBQ as well. Tried the ribs and BBQ sandwich. You've probably had huckleberry in EVERYTHING by now, but their huckleberry lemonade is extremely refreshing, just the right amount of sweet.

Google
This place is a true hidden gem, tucked away at a family owned campground. The food is original and inspired, a surprising menu. If you are here for a few days be sure to try breakfast and dinner as there are seperate menus with items you will want to try. The baked goods are also a great reward to take on the trail for enjoying at one of your destinations. They also have specials but these do sell out fast.

Jennifer B.

Google
This place is the best!!!! It is super cute and you can tell the people who work here love it. The dinner we had our first night hit the spot after our long day of hiking. The tofu bowl was a very unexpected treat at this place known for its amazing BBQ. We had breakfast on our last day in town and it was even better. The huck and hog was the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten. If I hadn’t already eaten some comforting banana nut bread, I would have tried to eat a second huck and hog. This was a special treat that might bring us back to MT from OH someday!

Yelp
What a fun little place! It's off the beaten path but fun, tasty, and with great outdoor views. It was a great option for our group that included both meat lovers and near-vegans. The only real negative is that it IS outdoors. We were there in early September while visiting the area, and it was still warm enough at dinnertime--but just barely. The menu is limited, but they change it up with specials.
google avatar

Yelp
We found this gem thanks to Yelp. It's a little back from the road in a campground so we never would have seen it on our own. The food and drinks are amazing! The ambiance is relaxed with a mix of "indoor" seating around a fireplace with picnic tables and foosball. There's also outdoor seating. The menu is a little different than what we found online so make sure you give it a look. The Cherry Bounce was unlike anything I've ever had, in a good way. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had the BBQ platter for dinner. All of the meats were moist and tasty, the ribs being our fave, followed by the pulled pork and brisket. We weren't impressed by the mac & cheese as it was all mushy and lukewarm. The beans and slaw were tasty though. The fresh cornbread special was a great addition. Then we had breakfast again the next day because it was so good the first time. We had the Korean and Thai Breakfast bowls. Both were absolutely delicious. They close for the season tonight so be sure to visit them when they re-open. You won't be disappointed!

Fred S.

Yelp
Ate here couple weeks ago For breakfast. Food was outstanding. Atmosphere was great !
google avatar

Lori D.

Yelp
I also found this on Yelp. If you are looking for crystal and linen napkins this won't be your vibe....but if you want great food and drinks with a fun hippy atmosphere, this is it!! You sit outside in a picnic shelter type structure, surrounded by lush green trees and some great tunes. There is a cozy fireplace. You order at the counter, the girl was super pleasant and friendly. They announce your name when the food is ready. So, once again a low key vibe. My husband and I had the turkey club with huckleberry sauce, so yummy! Drinks were good! price was reasonable. Would definitely return!

Yelp
Best BBQ I've had in a long time - and I live in NC so that's saying a lot! Amazing brisket, ribs, sides, and sunflower salad. Quick, friendly service. Great drink selections. Love the informal venue at the campground. Highly recommend when you're in the Glacier NP area.

Jacky J.

Yelp
Amazing! Every time I've gone it's always been amazing! Cant beat the atmosphere either.

Randy R.

Yelp
We went to the Sunflower for breakfast before exploring Glacier National Park. It was so great, we came back for dinner at the end of the day. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was the best! The staff was friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Kelly T.

Yelp
What a sweet and special spot! Pretty amazing to walk to the Sunflower right from your camp site. Best brisket I've ever had. Moist, melt in your mouth. The pulled pork and coleslaw were also excellent. Loved the selection of drinks. Cheers to the Sunflower!!!

Yelp
Charming and bi-polar cafe that is well run with quick service and fair prices. Breakfast/lunch is a homerun, its very good. The dinner BBQ not so much. Everything was dry, and not that good. You could tell everything was from the day before and re-heated. 5 for breakast, 2 for dinner.
google avatar

Libby B.

Yelp
Sweet cafe that's part of the Glacier campgrounds but you can still go here if you're not staying on the campgrounds. My family and I did the breakfast sandwiches, I got the hash brown patty as a side, and my stepdaughter did the breakfast kids platter. Chill vibes, there's a fire pit which was nice cause it was a bit chilly and there's a foos ball table. They also have alcoholic drinks. Their dog was really sweet too.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
GO HERE. IMMEDIATELY. This place is so cute and they hit me sideways with their breakfast bowls out of nowhere. Husband got the Thai fried rice breakfast bowl. I got the Korean Pork belly and kimchi bowl. YUM!!!!! Cutest place ever.
google avatar

Diane T.

Yelp
Excellent brisket and pork barbecue. The Mac and cheese side was good. The slaw was crunchy. They had a huckleberry lemonade that was great.everyone was friendly. You sit outside and it's in a campground. Don't let it stop you! It was fabulous and portions were perfect!
google avatar

Maria C.

Yelp
Food was very good and decently priced based on the amount of food served. Food is made fresh every day! I had the brisket dish with mac & cheese. I would definitely recommend going earlier in the day especially if visiting on a weekend, because since they make everything fresh they tend to run out 2-3 hours before. The Cafe is placed near an RV camp, so it's a favorite location!

Yelp
YOU MUST COME HERE! This was such a treat to find. We were staying at Glacier Campground and were pleasantly surprised that Sunflower Cafe was on the property and open! We stopped in on a Thursday evening about 7 PM and enjoyed live music, outstanding BBQ & delicious cocktails. We ordered The Works because we were feeding 4. It comes with a 1/2 rack of ribs that had a great crust and came off the bone perfectly. It also comes with 1/2 lb of pulled pork (tender, flavorful), 1/2 lb of brisket which had perfect bark and was tender, juicy and smoked to perfection. The 3 sides we chose that it comes with were Mac & cheese, baked beans and potato salad. The Mac & cheese was homemade and the pasta they chose were shells. My daughters even approved! The baked beans are so good. I can't say much about how they were cooked other than the beans weren't overcooked and mushy but they also didn't have a crunchy outside leaving them undercooked. Again, they did it right! The potato salad had medium sized pieces of potatoes and was white based (no mustard), I really enjoyed it. You'll also get 4 slices of white bread, a pile of pickles & sliced onions. There are several options of BBQ sauces & hot sauces to choose from, help yourself. There are a few dessert options, our girls decided carrot cake was their pick. Whoa, it is so so good! It comes in a plastic to go container, the portion is huge, the cake is thick with a delicious frosting. There is no table service. You'll order from an order window, they'll call your name when it is ready. Serve yourself water & all the sauces you choose. You're served in to go containers (if you choose to go) or on disposable plates/boats on a plastic tray, LOVE IT! Seating is all picnic tables outside on a covered patio or on an uncovered patio section. Dogs are welcome and so are kids, yay! The staff was friendly and you could tell they loved what they're doing. You can smell the smoked meat when you pull into the campground. The breakfast looked and smelled so good in the morning but we had already eaten so we didn't get to try it, maybe next time. Definitely GO HERE! You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

Yelp
Super cute outdoor camp café. You know this place is serious for BBQ when there are 5-6 homemade sauces (3 BBQ and 2-3 hot sauces). We had the BBQ everything platter, our favorite meats were the brisket and pulled pork - both tender and flavorful. Ribs were a bit chewy and the mac and cheese crumbly. Baked beans were fantastic though - delicious and meaty. The special of cornbread with honey butter and cinnamon was a lovely (albeit dry) dessert. Food rated 3-4 and rounded up for the very limited options in the area.

Maren B.

Yelp
We went in with low expectations since this is a restaurant in a pavilion at a campground, but we left impressed. The BBQ was moist and delicious (pulled pork and brisket), the kids loved the mac and cheese, and the potato salad was the homemade kind. Even the vegetarian bowl was good. The chocolate cake dessert was phenomenal. I did knock one star off because the buns were a little dry, and there was no one wiping tables between customers. The decor was fun, with sunflowers everywhere. The live entertainer was talented. The prices were reasonable for a tourist town. (They give you a discount if you pay cash, so bring some.) Felt like a big backyard picnic at a friends house who really knows how to cook. It was our favorite spot in West Glacier.
google avatar

Erin G.

Yelp
Had breakfast before hiking. I had a Korean breakfast bowl by the fire. Everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. Come here!
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
Great mix of healthy food with gluten free and vegetarian options for breakfast. Breakfast bowls and sandwiches and coffee. Located in the back of the glacier campground. No indoor seating, but lots of nice outdoor seating.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
Great food - Huckleberry Chipotle Sauce is delicious on any sandwich. The appealing BBQ aroma pulled us in, but they don't serve pulled pork or brisket until dinner menu. We have to knock it a star bc any place that turns away people for 'turnover' after a days long float, horseback trip, or hike can't get 5.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
The breakfast is to die for. The Thai bowl was on point! And the friendliness of the staff can't be beat. The ambiance is just perfect, too! Out in the open with the floating fire pit--amazing. After such a great breakfast, we returned for bbq dinner. It was alright, but I think we'll be back for breakfast only in the future. And we will certainly be back.

Brenda W.

Yelp
What a great find this was. I've been there twice and the food is great, and the restaurant being in the great outdoors is amazing. I highly recommend it.

Daniel E.

Yelp
Friendly, nice atmosphere, food was delicious, bbq was excellent, Mac n cheese was excellent, so was the brisket and BLT. People were very friendly as well. Cute place, definitely worth stopping for if you're visiting glacier.

Yelp
We needed breakfast and were staying at the campground. Wow. This was delicious, fresh, well-seasoned and well-thought out meals. Everything was so good. The breakfast sandwich wasn't anything extraordinary other than all the ingredients were super fresh and it was a pleasure to eat. They also have an awesome assortment of sauces you can add on that we're fun. It's pricey (like most everything in the area). With a 10% tip I dropped $50 on breakfast for 3. But the quality is so high I didn't even mind. It'd eat there again in a heartbeat and just skip or snack lunch to excuse the splurge. Also, the ambiance was spot on. It's all outdoor seating with folk music playing. It had me all revved up to head up into the mountains.
google avatar

Paul V.

Yelp
Everyone agreed the food was really good, but the portions were on the small side. Except the salad, we got the sunflower salad and it was fairly large.
google avatar

Margaret M.

Yelp
Maybe the best food I ever ate! Very easy, outside but under roof. We almost didn't turn down the dirt road.

Becca C.

Yelp
We stayed at the campground and had breakfast and dinner at The Sunflower Cafe. It's an open air pavilion with amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner along with homemade baked goods (cookies, delicious carrot cake), with delicious vegetarian and vegan options. We loved the breakfast sandwiches, the mushroom toast, the brisket, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and huckleberry vodka drinks. They also have an incredible fireplace in the center of the dining area!
google avatar

Matthew G.

Yelp
Great food - limited hours so plan accordingly not to miss it. Best bbq in the area. Fun outdoor seating and fire places to warm by
google avatar

Adam K.

Yelp
Wow this place is great. Such an awesome little hideaway camp spot, it this BBQ place knocks it out of the park. Their brisket was soooooo good it almost melted, and the ribs were amazing. Not sure of the set-up back there, but the people that run this place are so nice. The breakfast lunch options have some hidden Asian flavors in there and looks unbelievable. If you are in the area, this is the best place around... don't miss it.
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
This place was just alright IMO. It's probably a great option if you're staying at the campsite, but the bbq is nothing to write home about. Brisket was pretty dry and they ran out of ribs. Pulled pork was probably the best thing we tried.

Bob C.

Yelp
Brisket is awesome, Old fashioned is really good, ambience and environs are quirky and wonderful. Outdoor, covered Cafe with a fire going and good music. Friendly staff and great food.
google avatar

Joseph S.

Yelp
Had dinner here last night. Wife had the brisket and I had the pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork reminded me of the heat and serve type you can buy at Walmart. The brisket was fair. The BBQ sauce selection was poor. The standard sauce was very vinegary. The baked beans were tasteless and the coleslaw was cabbage with some vinegar tossed over it. We had high hopes but they were dashed. The service was good and the rustic building had some charm.
google avatar

Geraldine U.

Yelp
Look for this cafe at a rv park close to the glacier park entrance, located in a picnic like area. Definitely a great place to pick up some grub before heading to the park (that is, if you're not waking up for the sunrise). I definitely recommend the banh mi, whether or not you're familiar with vietnamese food. The sandwich is flavorful, fresh, and filling. The vegetables add a nice crunch and the pork belly adds a savory flavor to your typical sandwich. Plus add the egg, and it's golden. Don't expect your classic banh mi but it has its essence. Same with the thai bowl - it's not something you'd find in thai restaurant. But it's still a tasty breakfast bowl. You can't go wrong with some flavorful meat, rice, and a fried egg in the morning, in my opinion.
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
I typically don't write reviews when I'm giving out 3 stars. I only share the yummy experiences but when doing research I wish someone else had shared this so here we go! We ordered the bbq family platter. They happened to be out of ribs but they doubled the pork and brisket. The meat was decent. We chose 3 sides the potato salad, which was delicious, baked beans and Mac and cheese. There were some pickled cucumbers that were tasty as well and some onion. They added 8 slices of bagged bread, perhaps wonder? It doesn't come toasted or buttered. Not exactly an exciting additional edible side for us when paying for bbq. We just piled it to the side and threw it away untouched. We also ordered the s'mores cookie. Unfortunately it was super hard and old. Finally we ordered the key lime tart and lemonade. The tart didn't have a strong lime flavor but it was okay and lemonade wasn't flavorful. The space is funky and adorable. I loved looking out into the forest. You feel like you're eating in the trees. I also loved the fire pit element in the middle of the eating area. Overall we spent 84 dollars (15 dollar tip) although we grab our own water and food and do our own clean up and I didn't particularly feel like the food or service was worthy of the amount paid. Simple adjustments for not not much expenditure on their side could change our minds.
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
Fun and tasty option in close proximity to the west entrance of glacier NP. You order at a window and eat outside at picnic tables. The wait for two bowls was approximately 15-20 minutes (around 10:30 am on a weekday). The iced coffee was excellent. I had the Thai bowl which was excellent. If you are stopping here be aware it will be chilly if it is around 60 degrees as it is in the shade.
google avatar

Allie T.

Yelp
Stopped by before we left on our long drive back to California. Our whitewater rafting guide recommended this place so we definitely had to try it. I ordered the B&G and it was delicious! From all the times I've ordered biscuit & gravy, it was always a hit or miss. So glad I decided to try theirs. The biscuit had a cute flower print on it too. Staff was great. They had a cute dining area. They're located within Glacier Campground where we were camping so that was cool. Good eats near by.

Kyle Y.

Yelp
The food was great(only had dinner). They serve breakfast and lunch as well. I had the bbq pork sandwich which came with some chips....delicious. Ordered a side of potato salad too. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the campground and walked to dinner. Nice little fire in the middle of the dining area (great ambiance). We had a great time...thank you
google avatar

James F.

Yelp
The food taste great. Outdoor seating with an easy going atmosphere. Quick polite service. We had dinner here as well and both tasted great.

Lauren M.

Yelp
So delicious!! As a Carolina native, I was highly impressed by their BBQ. The outdoor vibes are perfect. The staff is fantastic and make the best drinks! Perfect spot for an after-hike meal. You do have to go through the campground to get here, but don't have to be a camper.

Cole J.

Yelp
This place is definitely deserving of 5 stars! Tucked inside a campground in the woods, my family enjoyed hanging out and playing foosball while we waited in the rustic picnic table style eating area. People on horseback traveling by and fun music on a speaker. 10/10 ambiance. The food was amazing, and I would think it's got to be the best in this area that tends to have some lower quality, expensive food. This place was exactly the opposite. Great BBQ food with some Korean flare. Great breakfast sandwiches and the pork belly was very tasty.

Francesca A.

Yelp
Great fun ambience, friendly staff, really good food. Ate there for breakfast twice and dinner twice and everything was really good!

Thomas D.

Yelp
Amazing food to be found at a campground. I would come here just for the food. It's a real BBQ with slow-cooked smoked meats. Lots of unique offerings and vegan options too. Best carrot cake I have ever eaten and I have tried a lot of high end places. If you're visiting GNP (even if not camping there) stop by for the food.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Perfect ending to a day in the park. Delicious BBQ, chill music, cozy fire and forest setting. Not to mention some tasty, well dosed cocktails!
google avatar

Ana A.

Yelp
This feels like a well kept secret! Sunflower Cafe is tucked away in the woods, but about 3 minutes from the West Glacier Park entrance. The cafe is inside Glacier Campground, but I'll definitely make a point of coming back on future trips to the Park. I had the huevos bowl and a mimosa for their Saturday brunch. The huevos bowl tasted really fresh and nice and the mimosa had a *generous* pour of sparkling wine. The open air ambiance is also really relaxing and nice. (The campground is super cute too)

Bryce T.

Yelp
Service was very quick. Ambiance was relaxed and peaceful. Food prep was very fast. Food quality, however was mediocre. The macaroni and cheese tasted like buttered noodles and the pulled pork lacked flavor. However, the chocolate cake was cold and delicious. The hard kombucha is worth a try as well
google avatar

Trish L.

Yelp
Came here for the first time on a Sunday evening around 730 (dangerously close to close), but they still had meats available! The ribs sold out just before we ordered, but we did hear them selling out around 8:20pm. I had the pulled pork and so did two of my other friends. One girl in the group ordered the brisket. The pulled pork was perfect. I don't like a sandwich. So, I had my pork just on the plate with the coleslaw and chips on the side. I'm picky about coleslaw and this one was good. It was perfectly crispy, not too wet, and had good flavor. It wasn't sweet. I also ordered a side of potato salad and everyone at the table loved it. We all tasted the brisket and agreed it was a little dry and definitely needed sauce to save it. No one was impressed with the mac and cheese, but honestly, everything else pretty much made up for it. Two friends had the huckleberry lemonade. One said it was a little sweet and the other said it was delicious. The seating is all picnic tables, they have a self-serve water station, and a ton of sauces to choose from. The bathrooms are port-o-potties, but there is an ample amount of hand sanitizer around. The staff was friendly and accommodated all of our requests while ordering. If you go into this place knowing it's a bbq spot in a campground, I think you'll be impressed.

mike l.

Yelp
The breakfast at this place is outstanding, from the biscuits and gravy to the Asian rice bowls it's just great. Also loved getting their desserts to go. I'd say the only mark against this spot was the BBQ which was very dry and absolutely needed sauce which was available but brisket etc. qre fatty cuts of meat that absolutely shouldn't be super dry when served unsauced. It was a bummer after the breakfast on multiple days set such a high bar. Breakfast though? Do it
google avatar

Michayla K.

Yelp
Sunflower Cafe was the highlight of all our dining while visiting GNP. We ended up going two days in a row because the breakfast was that good, the ambiance was unmatched, and prices were so reasonable compared to the surrounding area! 10/10 would recommend and we would absolutely return whenever we find ourselves in GNP again.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant! This is a great stop either coming from or going to Glacier National Park. I got the Classic Breakfast Sandwich and added a hash brown patty to it. Super delish! Their fresh brewed coffee was good as well.
