am beyond frustrated with the staff at this location. While I genuinely enjoy SunLife’s products and smoothies, the customer service here is consistently cold, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I come by often after walking my dog at Zuma Beach, but every visit is a reminder of how unfriendly the staff are—no matter how polite or cheerful I am, they never reciprocate. Ordering ahead for pickup doesn’t help either. When I arrive at the window, I’m routinely ignored. Even when I try to get the staff’s attention with a smile, they act like I’m invisible. It’s clear that making customers feel welcome is not a priority here. Honestly, I’m just waiting for another business to open up nearby that actually values its customers, because I’d happily take my business somewhere with a genuinely warm and inviting atmosphere.

Great smoothies and bowls, perfect healthy snack option. We loved our fruit smoothies - the samba and the tropical breeze. My friend enjoyed her bliss bowl, but said the portion sizing wasn't consistent with her previous visits.

Apex supplement powder is a great product, and sometimes they don’t have it in stock for awhile. Not great considering it’s a daily supplement. So if you like it and find it in stock, buy enough to last as long as possible before it expires.

Very healthy and organic! It also is located in the beautiful area of Malibu! The view is great overlooking the ocean and mountains! The staff are very helpful and friendly! There’s a wide variety of smoothies and fruit to buy! Even though my smoothie tasted a little watered down, overall it was pretty good especially considering how healthy it was! The cafe area was pretty modern and had beautiful crystals on display! Overall I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

SunLife Organics is always amazing. They have great options for smoothies, acai bowls, and even some breakfast items like avocado toast. I would highly recommend this if you're in the area. Sometimes it can get busy so you may have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for your order to be prepared but the wait is always worth it! They use fresh ingredients and everything on the menu is delicious!

Delicious and healthy, pretty pricey but hey it’s Malibu so what do you expect? Laird latte is amazing, just on the small side for $6 and only one size option. I tried the Brazilian bowl too, it rocks!

The ACAI did not taste terrible, the rest was. You cant build your own bowl, and every substitute will cost $3, so hard to get anything you would want for less than ~$20. All 4 of the employees were clueless, our order of 3 items took 15 min, no people ahead of us in line. 4 hours later...not feeling well...

Great option if you’re looking for a fresh snack or healthy breakfast/lunch in Malibu! Loved their açaí bowl. Always recommend adding peanut butter! Plenty of shaded outdoor seating as well.

First time coming here. Came at 11am on a Saturday and the parking lot was pretty full. But you can find parking next door like we did if needed The Wolverine protein shake was filling and worth the price. Between that and the cookie doughbites i had spent $30 and was shocked but they were both really good, no complaints here. Plenty of açaí bowl options that my friend took advantage of. Pretty quick service and plenty of seating outside to see all the other cafes and stores.

SUNLIFE ORGANICS is located in the Malibu Country Mart. Though there were a lot of people in the shop, and there was a line to order, the workers were fast and it was no time at all before I was at the front of the line putting in my order. The EVERGY SHOT I ordered was great and seemed to work. It might be placebo effect only, but the cleanse I got after felt great :) It's not cheap.

The smoothie bowls here are really good. They do have. Good variety of options. My smoothie bowl that I tried was a more tropical and orange tasting. This is rather unique since most smoothie bowls I try have banana as a strong flavor. I did enjoy the toppings. The fruit was very fresh and the granola was tasty. I am not so sure it is worth the $20 it basically costs though. The location is in a shopping center which is nice to have easy parking. There are some tables outside which is nice to sit at. Also for an FYI, this place doesn't have Wi-Fi.

Cute shop with a nice variety of smoothies, snacks, and bowls. I saw a bowl priced at $40! They have lunch type foods such as salads as well. It is quite pricey, but the products are good quality and service is friendly. The shop sells other types of goods as well- yoga mats, blankets, self help books, and skincare products.

This is a great healthy smoothie and acai bowl spot at the Malibu Country Market, perfect for a bite after hiking. It's a bit on the pricey end but everything is tasty and good quality. Parking is pretty easy since the lot is big and there's a good amount of outdoor seating around the store.

Came in on Friday 9/6 at 15:00 and ordered 2 smoothies. When my order was called, I walked up to get them and the chick with the tattoo on her forearm walked away for some reason causing me to wait. So I asked for it and she replied, "it's right there" as if she expected me to reach over the tall glass that was in the way or go outside to grab them myself through the window or something. And then on top of that, I was missing a drink and when I asked about it she said she would make me a new one. Idk what happened to the old one? As 5-10 minutes go by, I never heard my order get called once again so I went to go check up on the drink and the same numb skull employee that was supposed to make my new drink was nowhere to be found. I had to go ask another employee about it just to find out it's been sitting in the blender the whole time. So you mess my order up not once, not twice, but three times. Whole time looking like she didn't even wanna be there. Overall just a terrible experience.

Usually the best açaí bowl and smoothie location in all of LA but the service has gotten so bad it isn't even worth coming to anymore. The employees have no sense of urgency and don't even call out names for orders while smoothies just sit behind the glass melting. Very disappointed with the last few visits.

solid acai bowl spot! the only reason why i'm giving this 4 stars is because i feel like the price point doesn't really match the quality. my boyfriend got a mango/pineapple smoothie (i forgot the name and price) and i got the samurai bowl. the bowl was about $20 total which i don't think is worth it. although they did give alot and it tasted amazing, it wasn't anything special and i feel like id just stick to Blue Bowl. but if you're in the area, i think it's worth trying! it's in malibu mart and the place is so fun to be in and hang around! workers were also very nice.

So good the smoothies and fresh. Very happy with how they keep nutrition in mind and the place has great supplements

Sunlight is and has always been one of the best places to enjoy yourself, be healthy, and meet awesome community. The soup is delicious and so are all of the juices! Service is pleasant and cheerful and the space is lovely!!

I've been here a couple times and they are always so good! Love coming here and chilling in Malibu after!

My friend and I shared the Brazilian Bowl after a short hike nearby. I'm glad we shared because it was really filling. The bowl was pretty big - the açaí was so good! But the majority of the bowl was filled with granola, which is why it was so filling. The strawberries and bananas on top were fresh and sweet. The store is narrow but there's outside seating. The açaí bowl came out quickly and the workers were nice. I would come back again!

The bowls were great, cute interior & decent pricing. However 2 stars for the awful customer service I hate to leave poor reviews but two of the girls were chatting and just ignored us for a good 3 minutes and while taking my order had an attitude. Love the bowls but hopefully service will improve next time.

Really nice location with good and friendly service. I ordered the matcha latte, but the cashier recommended the strawberry to try. So glad I did and can't stop thinking about this drink! My sister got the smoothie bowl and felt it was too icy. She wished it was a bit more blended.

Really nice spot to get healthy and tasty bowls, smoothies, acai! A little on the pricy side which is expected for the area. My only small complaint in that for some reason my cell phone had NO service or working WIFi. First world problems I know. Enjoy a nice healthy spot for a snack or quick meal!

Great place to hang out in Malibu drinking and eating healthy shakes. Service was okay....a bit slow and unorganized

So, mostly hit the other two locations near me in Thousand Oaks and the other Malibu location on Cross Creek....but hit this spot the other day in route to Zuma Beach! Really did not live up to the standard to other locations and most in my group were disappointed to say the least! The Avocado toast was good, other then that all bowls and shakes we tried were a solid miss and mostly left unfinished! Maybe it was just a very bad day for this location or something. Well, anyways...will give this location another shot, due to so many great shakes and bowls at their other locations! Food: Açaí Bowls, Shakes, Smoothies. Service: Kinda felt rushed, but other then that a none issue. Ownership: Locally owned and operated Decor: Has the Big Sur rustic surf shack vibe, books shelves,crystals and very causal atmosphere. Limited indoor seating. Drinks: Shakes, Smoothies, Coffee, Tea's Parking: Limited parking out front and a very small lot in back of the place.

Great products and staff. Quick and easy order. Everything is organic, wild crafted or grown 100% pesticide free. They also carry a wide variety of natural products. Fun games to play if seating and eating.

Delicious smoothie shop with unique and flavorful options. The Wolverine was absolutely delicious. A bit pricey, but what you'd expect for the area. They also have smoothie bowls and juices. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a healthy food option.

Customer service was great but over half my bowl was granola. The blond girl who made my bowl absolutely murdered it with granola. Im talking 3/4ths granola and 1/4th acai. Please put less granola next time.

what really bothered me was that no one greeted me when i came in, and the girl working the register was so unfriendly. i work in food service and i'm always kind to others, so it bothers me when i'm a guest somewhere and feel like i'm a bother. like, you're the one getting paid!? i really wanted to say something, but this review will suffice. but on top of that, the açaí bowl i got was FILLED with toppings, i couldn't even get a bite of just açaí. the consistency wasn't great either. i suppose the ingredients are actually organic ,but really didn't feel worth the $17

Super filling bowl packed with generous assortment of high-quality ingredients! Get the samurai bowl if you want a protein-packed option that isn't too sweet and you like chocolate Was craving something cold but filling after a long Malibu hike and the samurai bowl hit the spot! With a açaí based blended with cacao powder + chocolate protein powder, and topped with special toppings like raw coconut meat and raw cashew butter, this bowl stood out from my typical açaí bowls and more than satisfied my hunger for hours to come (honestly started getting full halfway through, so maybe split it with a friend if you're not too hungry). Was it worth $18+? Probably not, but it's Malibu so the prices were expected, and given the ingredients like raw coconut meat and chocolate/açaí base, it definitely stood out from açaí bowls I've tried from other places in the past. In terms of sweetness and portion, it was also perfect. - One thing I'd note is the bitter aftertaste from the cacao powder/ chocolate protein powder for those who may be sensitive to that. Also would prefer almond butter or peanut butter over the cashew butter, but that's a personal preference :-) - Workers were really nice, and I appreciate that they text you when your order is ready so you can walk around the area in the meantime.

Today was my first time. Menu is rich. They have shakes and juices and some other organic stuff. I tried Malibu Sunrise. It was delicious, order was easy, they took my phone no to text me when it's ready. It wasn't super busy but it took over 10 mins to have it. At least I did not have to wait inside. Prices are little high but it's Malibu, nothing is cheap there. Staff was friendly and store was clean. They have seats outside for costumers to sit.

Omg!!! I'm super disappointed on this Asia bowl! I don't know if it's specific this location or they just all like that. And super chip on açaí! The put very little amount of açaí. And it's was not tasty I fell like I eat only sugar, no base. Was super lapping. And I take it for me and my kids. And you can see it's only half bowl. And they charge you me small money. For two bowls and one juice I pay 46$ When I make Remarks for the They talk me Thai it's like it is ! And put me another almond butter that I don't won't. :( Sad

Yummy smoothies and bowls! Not inexpensive, but fresh quality offerings! Normally get a smoothie (especially like the PeanButter/Chocolate protein shake), but this time decided to try an açaí bowl. Chose the Brazilian Bowl (blended açaí, banana , strawberry, blueberry, apple juice and almond milk topped with granola, banana, strawberry, and coconut shreds). No regrets! It was cool, fresh, refreshing, and filling.

i ordered the bliss bowl, which was good but way overpriced. I added peanut butter on top and got a drop for an extra $3. a $17 dollar bowl! Their menu said a peanut butter add on was $2 and the cashier told me , we'll that what my register says. it's a dollar, but dang, honor your advertised prices and don't be stingy with the $3 peanut butter scoop!

Stopped by here for lunch and had this delicious bowl. It's more filling than you'd think just looking at it. Everything was super fresh and good, service was quick. A little pricier but it was so good that I wasn't mad about it.

This place is excellent! In love with the quality food and drinks they produce. The açaí bowl is big enough for two people to share. Everything is pure and organic.

Simply the best, go there now...you'll never want to leave. I not only love the menu, but the entirety of the retail products are well curated. I wish I lived closer.

Beware!!! I got second degree burns on my hand when the lid on my bone broth popped off and the steaming hot broth spilled all over my hand. It is absolutely irresponsible to send broth out that hot WITHOUT a warning. I expected better from a seemingly "thoughtful" company. Don't buy into the fake mindfulness. Just a bunch of money hungry Sycophants. What a huge disappointment

Frequent customers of this location. 2 weeks ago we ordered our bowls, and immediately sat down to eat at the tables outside the shop. After a couple bites, my husband had a sharp sensation that felt like he had bit a hard nut, but it turned out to be a decent sized stone! Larger than a pistachio. He immediately went in to notify staff with the bowl and stone, that he thank God pulled out of his mouth. He was told, "yeah, it happens sometimes with the nut company we use" He came out, with the stone and his bowl and to my surprise that's all they said. Did not offer a refund or remake of bowl. I made him go back in and ask for both ...this is quite concerning to not be sure if you might bite into a stone! He emailed the company to follow up on what happened and to make sure they were aware. No response. A couple days later he emailed again. No response. A few days later I DM their Instagram. Still no response. 5 days later I DM'd again. While I was originally concerned because he was experiencing tooth sensitivity, At this point I was just frustrated they couldn't take the time to at least respond to his email from a week and a half earlier, even if they didn't have an answer at the time. A simple "checking in to it" would have helped. Finally, after 2 weeks from first email I get a DM response. Saying they had to speak to corporate before responding to me, that they had checked the bags of nuts and that everything was "perfect" (who knows what bags/timeframe/etc) and that they were happy to refund it at the time. Ok......that's great because I hope it doesn't happen to someone else. But, it is irrelevant to the fact that they (knowingly) serve a product that sometimes (admittedly) has rocks in it without warning.... Luckily, he did not swallow/choke/or something worse. He continues to have tooth sensitivity, and honestly we will be unable to eat here again as their is no confidence as to what may show up in the bowl. We brought the bowl/stone home and left it in our freezer. Will not return, super disappointed in how they responded especially as frequent local customers. Also - first review I have ever taken the time to write - it was warranted

This is a cute Sunlife Organics store in Malibu; I personally love Sunlife's acai bowl and smoothie. Sunlife is very pricey (e.g. over $10 for a smoothie) but we already know that when we choose to get a smoothie or bowl there... :') This store sells books and wellbeing products too which is interesting!

I love this place! Stopped in and got a mint chip smoothie. While they are pricey, the ingredients and the size of the smoothie itself make it worth it. All the employees were super nice and the store was very clean and covid friendly.

The worst pitaya bowl that I've ever had. First of all, it was topped with FROZEN blueberries and FROZEN mangos. Um what?!? I've never gotten frozen fruit as toppings ever before. Fruit toppings should always be fresh! Secondly, the hemp milk they used overwhelmed all the other ingredients in the bowl (pitaya, mango, raspberry). Also, please note that the açaí in all of their açaí bowls are presweetened. They use some sort of premade açaí sorbet. I expected better from this place. Instead, Sunlife takes shortcuts, which downgrades the quality of their items.

Extremely overpriced for a crappy Acali bowl. But let me rewind. I came in no one was there ordered my bowl and said no granola. A bunch of kids came in who are friends with someone who works there. He made their bowls before mine. Okay hook up your friends but take care of paying customers first. It took forever and I pretty much wanted to cancel and walk out. They screwed up my bowl and had to make it again. I left pissed. I don't plan on returning to this location and my bowl wasn't that good. I got the dragon. Slow service, overpriced, and poor product. Hard pass.

I LOVE the vibe of this place..There are so many "all natural" and "organic" places out there but this one definitely stands out to me. There are so many options, vegan included. Their bowls and smoothies are particularly amazing :) I'll absolutely be returning, and bringing friends.

Amazing juices and smoothies but- Omg. They had the worst grossest avocado toast! Came with weird sweet thick spicy balsamic on it. Strawberries covered in that crap and the avocado part was totally tasteless. Wow. Literally worst I've ever had. Lol. Luckily also ordered a juice and a salad.

SLOWEST PLACE EVER!!!! We have been waiting over 35 minutes for ONE açaí bowl and we still do not have it!!! Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! Never again!!!!

If you're having a beach or shopping day near the Malibu Country Mart, sunlife is the perfect spot for a loaded açaí bowl or refreshing smoothie. Granted everything here is on the pricier side, but it's all fresh and the bowls really are so filling. Check it out next time you're at the Malibu Country Mart!

I love Sunlife products, but quite honestly, this is my least favorite Sunlife location to go to. I'm leaving this review because I truly want to see this business succeed. But I think significant improvements need to be made.... The line is always incredibly long here at peak hours, which is understandable because the food is great quality. But the service is EXTREMELY slow. I get that this is Malibu and not a Starbucks in LA, but I don't think it's acceptable to have to wait 15 minutes for an order at times. You would think they would train the employees to work a little faster when their traffic rate is so high, however they seem to move at an almost glacial pace. I'm not sure if this is related to poor management or if the employees are just inherently lazy. Regardless, if someone's going to take a year and a day making a smoothie, I expect it to be nothing less than perfection. But instead, this is what I got... Huge, unblended dates in my Mystic. And my dumb ass actually paid $12 for this.
