SunLife Organics - Soho

Very beautiful and spacious interior. Menu items are very health conscious as well as the other wellness items they sell. Only drawbacks were it was a long wait for my order and the price point is high. My smoothie consistency was uneven and clumpy that drinking it through a straw was hard. There were large chunks of ice and fruit not thoroughly blended. It was definitely better when I went to their LA locations.

Delicious, high quality smoothies! Staff is friendly and yes, the wait is longer than what I’d consider “usual” but it didn’t bother me too much with the steady stream of orders coming in. Atmosphere is awesome and the drinks truly can’t be beat!

I wanted to call this the best bowl not only in New York City, but that I have had. Then I got a second one. Here is SunLife organics and understand the positives do outweigh the negatives. -turn the music down, just a little, there is zero reason unless at a concert to play music at that level. -$34 to have add ons forgotten (young, coconut & peanut butter) Did the people working recognize they forgot the $8 ($4each for the ones i chose) yes, did they ask if it was ok to put on the side, yes. Was the entire bowls taste integrity completely different since it was not remade, a resounding yes. All in all service is still great, do I pay the astronomical amount because they do taste that great, another yes.

The quality was extremely disappointing for the price, and the staff were unfriendly. The coffee tasted awful, the avocado toast was better made at home, and ordering coffee, avocado toast, and a fresh juice ended up costing over $40 with tip

I really want to support this place because I genuinely enjoy their food and products. Unfortunately, the service has been extremely inconsistent. The last few times I’ve ordered, it arrived about 45 minutes later than expected which makes ordering feel like a gamble. I hope their service improves because the quality itself is great.

Got an acai bowl, and it hit the spot! I’m a regular of the Austin SoCo location, so when I visited my friend in NYC I was so excited to get my “usual” even tho I was so far from home. They were really busy, but the line flowed and we didn’t wait for long. Yes it was a little pricey, but most everything in the city is, AND, I adore the backstory of the business, so I am more than willing to support the brand because of it. Next up is the California mother ship! Oh, and they have bathrooms for customers - apparently this is a thing in NYC 😊

This Malibu gem now in the heart of soho is my new favorite place. The matcha goddess on the left is so rich and creamy. The howl cow tasted just like a chocolate shake! Super filling and delicious. Emily was so helpful giving us suggestions to ensure we got what we wanted! Will definitely be back!

The staff is super kind and welcoming and the Wolverine smoothie was absolutely stellar. It was the first time a smoothie actually held me over until lunch and didn’t cause any acid reflux- wow. Disappointed only in that the smoothie was missing a good eight off the top as they are very pricey and you’ll want to enjoy every drop! ;( Edit: I ordered it a second time and it tasted watery and different. Someone replied from the company to the OG review and told me to email which I did, but I never heard back. Now their comment has been deleted.

I wasn't feeling the best and we were waiting across the street to get in a restaurant so I noticed this place across the street and decided to go in and get a drink. It's such a cute place! The register is all the way in the back and the menu was really nice although I just wanted a juice, I ordered the glow juice since I wasn't feeling best for a boost and boy did it do it job. Someone there ordered an açaí bowl before me and wow they looked sooooo good but I'd didn't try it - maybe next time. Definitely recommend this place if your in the area

Happen to find this hidden gem just walking the village. Didn't know what to order so we asked Rakin at the counter and he recommended some drinks and we said sure. Boy, he wasn't wrong. The drinks were refreshing and tasty. The service was top notch and the drinks were a 10/10 for us. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Rakin for everything.

Recommended by a friend, I happened to be nearby and craving a matcha so I stopped inside. The inside is gorgeous, with neon lights and large crystals and some seating in the front. There is a locked restroom available for customers. There was no line to order but around lunchtime there was a crowd waiting for their food. My friend built her own açaí bowl with bananas, strawberries, peanut butter and granola, and I ordered the iced Strawberry Matcha with almond milk instead of coconut and an extra scoop of matcha. I also grabbed a little caffeine chocolate square from the prepackaged wall. Staff was friendly and helpful! It was so hard to decide what to get here! It's clear this store caters to those who prioritize health, wellness and organic ingredients and the price points reflect this. I was glad my matcha was quite large but it was also $15 after tip. Again, it was a good size and my friends açaí bowl was extremely filling too so I can understand why the prices are high for some items. It looks like you can substitute things easily here and if I lived nearby I could see myself draining my bank account here weekly. I thought both of our orders were delicious. I'm curious to see how this Malibu based organic cafe continues to do in the city and would absolutely return.

I got the yogi smoothie and it was good. Very refreshing but definitely not life changing or anything different from a normal smoothie. My friends smoothie was some sort of limited time berry smoothie with young coconut and both of us did not like it. I would come back and try maybe some of the cooler smoothie flavors but for the price this place will be a rare visit! Super expensive and not very large cups. Decently busy inside and had to wait a bit for the smoothie. It's cute inside though and there is seating!

The only place you can find 100% organic smoothies in NYC. Forgive the New Yorkers in the comments who don't know the difference between a chemical and sugar laden smoothie from a local spot and this. So thankful SunLife came to NYC, I will order religiously until I move back to CA

I've wanted to try SubLife Organics for a minute now! It's very big in Socal and am so happy there's a location near me! I came in during the morning, so thankfully there was no long line. I will say that everything is PRICEY! So keep that in mind and know that there are definitely cheaper options in the area that are equally as good. I let the staff know that I like tarty flavors and they recommend the Yogi. I added some protein in it and i'm pretty happy with my order, but I think next time I come I'll definitely try something else. It was good, but not great. They do have a large menu, so you'll have plenty to choose from! Very clean as well!

Not sure what the hype is about. Smoothies are okay but not life changing. And prices are sooo high. Wait times soooo long bc of the viral hype. Not worth

Ordered the alchemist with a bowl topping. Not bad. Cosmetologists would like this place and their clients. Reasonable prices.

Mehhhh not super great smoothie but not awful. I minus some points because it was pretty costly. Great for the organic brand and other products they had at the store, but not worth it to me.

The product is good, the staff is working but they don't have a concept of time. When I saw it was a California started business I got it, I caught the "wave". DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO WAIT! I went to get a healthy treat from the old Starbucks and to get out of the 97 degree heat as my bus had 18 minutes, when my cashier said 5-10 minutes for my order I thought I would have have enough time with moments to spare.... 30 minutes later the cashier washed her hands put on her gloves and made my Maui bowl. Whew, it was to hot to be mad & like I previously said the staff was working nonstop. Folks were ordering in person and online and the staff even made corrections or adjustments as they were making the orders. Kudos to the staff, I think an adjustment to how they get the orders out more efficiently needs work especially since NYC is a faster pace than Cali! I would go back but I would never go on the way to something else unless I need to waste time. Also, I forgot to snap my treat after the long wait; they did provide water for patrons :)

Was strolling through SoHo and feeling a bit homesick for Cali, so I decided to stop in. The vibes are immaculate, the people are warm and welcoming, and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to hear that SunLife Organics had opened their first NY location so when we were in the area, hoping to snack on something before dinner, we thought to stop by for an acai bowl. Like others have mentioned in the comments, it took quite some time for us to get our order, even though there weren't that many customers in the shop. We shared the Brazilian Bowl, which was a whopping $20 before any add ons, taxes, and tip. For that price, I had high expectations for how the acai bowl would taste but the base was icy and watery, not blended very well and not as creamy as other acai bases I've had. It also tasted mainly of apple juice and some berries, and I didn't taste any acai in the mix. The fruits on top were fresh and the granola added a nice crunch but the base was very underwhelming and tasted like something I can make at home with my nutribullet. With so many other smoothie bars nearby, not sure if I would revisit.

SunLife was good but get ready to pay $20 for a smoothie. Some of the smoothies are even more expensive than that. I had a matcha smoothie, I think it had coconut cream in it. It was good but not $20 good. It's in SoHo so I'm sure the rent is insane.

Best smoothie place in all the land. I've only had it in LA, so happy to accidentally have run across it in NY. Try the Matcha Goddess - perfect and not too sweet, it's worth the wait even though the lines are long.

I absolutely loved my smoothie and experience at Sunlife Organics NYC! I go to the Malibu location every day when I'm in LA, so I'm super excited that they're on the east coast now! This brought a little bit of Malibu to me and I'm so happy. I'm going to come back again later today

Two words...THE BEST! Coming from Malibu this is the best In New York! There might be a line, but it's worth the wait. They tell me online ordering through their app starts tmw, (Monday) 4/28. :)

$20 for a smoothie and it takes them 20 minutes to make it is insane not worth the hype

I ordered ahead, and took 25 minutes to get there. When I arrived, they STILL hadn't made my smoothie yet. When I finally got it, it was missing the overpriced add on I requested, but I couldn't wait another hour for them to remake it, so I left.

Spent so long in this place waiting for them to make a smoothie I feel like they owe me overtime pay. Will never come back.

Disorganized and not great. Took over 30 minutes for a bowl and smoothie after ordering - and folks who'd ordered after us got orders before us. We got the peanut butter smoothie, which was very grainy and the billion bowl; neither of which were very tasty.

Finally the sun is shining in NYC! Sunlife is not just a smoothie place, though it makes the best ones I've ever had. And it's not just a boosted, healthy coffee place, though I've never tasted any better. It's the heart of the lotus of well-being. I was there for its very first days in Malibu and I have relied on it ever since, in many locations, for renewal, refreshment, and revitalization. Go. Partake. Sit down. Strike up a conversation, if you choose. You'll leave be a better, brighter you.
