Sunlit Waters Studio Apartments

Stayed at Sunlit Waters for two nights in December. The location is great, a short walk to Airlie Main Street, but up on the hill away from the noise. The view across the bay is stunning, and the sunset was amazing to watch. It has a nice pool which I enjoyed once evening. The rooms have everything you would need, good air con, nice shower. Pete the owner was a top bloke. I was a solo traveller so he invited me up for a beer. We even grabbed some dinner and went on a bit of a tour of the area which as a solo traveller was brill. He looked after my suitcase whilst I went on a two night boat trip. I would fully recommend sunlit waters. Thanks Peter.

Really wanted to gatekeep this place but I really can’t. It’s amazing for the price that you’re paying. You get full kitchenette and amenities to the pool. The rooms are clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again and longer given the chance. The staff here are helpful. We also had a little gecko friend who made our stay more homely. The one negative would be the rules of the establishment - you have to clean out the bin and tidy the dishes before you leave or suffer a dollar penalty.

This property is good. The room is spacious and very clean. The location is very good and it is very close to Airlie Beach Lagoon and Airlie Beach centre where many eateries, bars, shops and groceries are located. The front staff is super friendly. I stayed here for 2 days in mid-2024 Nov and my room with 2 double beds. The price is 436AUD for 2 days. I think it's value for money. I have 2 people only, but the room is good for 4 people and that makes it more competitive. There is a staircase to the toilet and kitchen in the unit, so we need to take note of the staircase, especially during nighttime. People who drive may need to take note of the parking lot. The car park is small.

Sunlit Waters Studio Apartments got everything we need. Great location, on a hill: offering stunning views of the city and the sea. Shops, restaurants, and excursions are all within walking distance.

Loved staying here. Close to all amenities in Airlie, but quiet, with a beautiful view. Super comfortable, spotless, lovely pool. Thank you Jeanelle for being so accommodating, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back here on our next visit to Airlie.

Fantastic spot, with a great view and within a 5 min walk of the main airlie strip. If I could sneak in a couple more stars for service I would. Janelle was lovely and Peter went above and beyond. Would recommend to anyone visiting Airlie!

What a lovely accommodation, nice and big and spacious. They were so welcoming to park my jetski in the garage too. Extremely central and with a great view 😍 Also extremely well priced.

We had a great 4 night stay here and couldn't have been happier with the location, Seaview and sunsets! The hill is a little steep but no problem at all. We went in and out of town 3 times a day as we were so close.
