Returning to Voco Hotel (previously Holidays Inn) after 5 years is a pleasant surprise. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and clean. The services rendered to my husband and myself has enhanced the quality of the hotel. All staff, including the cleaning crew and security guards were warm and friendly. Special thanks to the front desk team, including Reene for their patience and professionalism . I’m especially thankful to Ingrid, Guest Service Manager, for extending her support to us over the 5 days of our stay; attending to my queries and request for help without delay. Truly appreciate it. I’m looking forward to return to Guangzhou Voco Hotel on my next visit.

The biggest and most comfortable beds so far. The staff cleaned our room regularly, even topping up more tea bags and can drinks after observing our drinking habits. Good service from staff, starting from ground door entrance to breakfast areas, reception counters and thumb up for their excellent room services. Hotel is near to many eateries, shops and metro. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay in this hotel.

The hôtel is well situated near the Shangxiajiu pedestrian area in a fairly interestion neighbourhood of the old town district. Front desk staff are very helpful and efficient, responding to requests and questions promptly and warmly. The rooms are large, very clean, and quiet. There is a laundry area (Wechat and/or Zhifubao highly recommended). Also a small sauna, fitness room, and outdoor pool/terrasse on the top floor. Plenty of dining choices incl. a street food court just outside the entrance. Would recommend.

Room cleanliness excellent. Every evening this hotel provide with us delicious, warm and nutritious soup served in our room. Staff are helpful and attentive to queries. They are :-Susie, Goria, May, Jack, Landon CaoUnnamed housekeeping & security staff very helpful and friendly too. Convenient hotel Location. Area surrounded with shoppings and food.. Very easy to move around this 上下九步行街。

The hotel was very nice. Excellent buffet breakfast. Good restaurant inside. The location was fine, except that taxi drivers did not like going all the way to the hotel door. I had to insist the taxi drop me off at the door and I wasn’t going to walk the rest of the way with luggage. Taxi pick up was quick once called. 4/5 because they should have someone at the front desk who can speak Cantonese.

Staff were helpful and pleasant. Mr. Johnson introduced the newly opened coffee shop and beans made available exclusively for Voco from Yunnan. My status was being recognized and thank you for the generous upgrade by Ms. Lily Li. The gentlemen at the Concierge were also extremely helpful with my incoming and outgoing shipments. On my departure Mr. Philip Yan walked at least 150 meters with my heavy luggage to the hired car that never made to the hotel pick up area. He was extremely patient and kind. Room was a bit cold for me as I grew up in Southern California, but upon my request staff quickly resolved the issue by providing a heater, thank you for making my stay as comfortable as it could be.

Location was good and just beside a bustling street, covering most attraction and airport within 30 minutes of taxi ride. ||Room was great and housekeeping was tidy. Breakfast selection was wide too with local and international selections for different guest needs. ||Included a pool and sauna on the top floor as well. Recommended for a stay here!

Location is good, in the middle of 上下九，just about 2-3 mins walk, you will reach the two famous flagship restaurants, TaoTao Ju and Lian Xiang Lou. Though it was not near to the subway station, it was easy to call Didi etc. The hotel staff helped us to book car as we did not have the account there. Cabs are not expensive in cheaper, so no point taking subway if you have about 4-5 pax. Ms Sunny and Ms May are very professional and helpful. They gave me free upgrade for one of my rooms as it was my birthday. Rooms are huge and very clean. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
