Very disappointing billing experience
I had a very unpleasant experience with Sunny Paradise Ngwe Saung Hotel, mainly due to poor billing management and miscommunication.
I checked out at 10:00 AM on 30 November 2025 and waited for the final bill until our cars departed the hotel at 12:00 PM. During this waiting time, I checked multiple times with the hotel staff to confirm that the final bill included the extra bed fee and minibar charges. Each time, I was clearly told that the amount was final and confirmed, and I paid the full amount before returning to Yangon.
However, later on, the Yangon office of Sunny Paradise Hotel contacted me, claiming that the extra bed fee was not included in the bill and insisted that I had not paid it. I explained that we had already confirmed this numerous times at the hotel and paid accordingly, but they continued to insist that we must make an additional payment.
This situation was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. A hotel should have accurate internal communication and transparent billing, especially after confirming charges multiple times with the guest. Being asked to pay again after checkout and full payment is unacceptable.
Because of this experience, I am very disappointed and do not feel confident recommending this hotel to others.
