Sunny Side Up Westend

I was there at the beginning of December 2025. I ordered coffee and shakshuka (see picture), which tasted great. The food ordered by others looked delicious, too. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. All of the dishes I saw were vegan or vegetarian.

Sunny Side Up is the perfect way to start your day! We were greeted with genuine kindness and seated immediately — no wait at all around 9 AM, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is beautifully laid out, with detailed descriptions and photos of each dish (which I really appreciate). It did make deciding tough though — everything looked amazing! We went with the Açaí Addiction and Mango Pancakes. Both were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and were beautifully presented. Service was excellent — our server was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and would love to try their lunch menu next time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and relaxed breakfast or brunch!

It’s is the most lovely place in Frankfurt! The food and the service were outstanding and the banana late is a MUST! They use their own, homemade, no refined sugar syrup… 🤤 Definitely worth standing in a 5-10 minutes queue. ☺️

I’ve visited Sunny Side Up Westend twice now, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorite spots in the city. The place has a modern, fresh vibe, and the young team working here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The food is excellent — delicious, well-presented, and with plenty of variety to suit every mood. What I love most is the wide range of healthy options available, making it easy to enjoy something both tasty and good for you. Overall, this restaurant is a gem: stylish atmosphere, fantastic service, and consistently great food. This was my second visit, but definitely not my last. I’ll be coming back again for sure!

Had breakfast at Sunny Side Up — the sourdough toast with eggs and avocado cheese was absolutely delicious. Great taste, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Delicious brunch spot. Have quite a few options to choose from, good portions as well. Might take a bit to wait if you around peak time of 11-12pm~. Took us probably 15mins on Monday afternoon. Service was quick as well staff super nice and friendly. If need wifi just ask the staff. Definitely recommend!

Recommended by few on Reddit as one of the top brunch spots. And the queue around noon outside spoke for itself. Service is polite and attentive but not the quickest. Outside seating in this chilly weather has a heater and blankets. Overall, a good spot but the price is driven up by the hype.
