Sunny Side Up Westend

Sunny Side Up is the perfect way to start your day! We were greeted with genuine kindness and seated immediately — no wait at all around 9 AM, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu is beautifully laid out, with detailed descriptions and photos of each dish (which I really appreciate). It did make deciding tough though — everything looked amazing! We went with the Açaí Addiction and Mango Pancakes. Both were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and were beautifully presented. Service was excellent — our server was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and would love to try their lunch menu next time. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious and relaxed breakfast or brunch!

I’ve visited Sunny Side Up Westend twice now, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorite spots in the city. The place has a modern, fresh vibe, and the young team working here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The food is excellent — delicious, well-presented, and with plenty of variety to suit every mood. What I love most is the wide range of healthy options available, making it easy to enjoy something both tasty and good for you. Overall, this restaurant is a gem: stylish atmosphere, fantastic service, and consistently great food. This was my second visit, but definitely not my last. I’ll be coming back again for sure!

Recommended by few on Reddit as one of the top brunch spots. And the queue around noon outside spoke for itself. Service is polite and attentive but not the quickest. Outside seating in this chilly weather has a heater and blankets. Overall, a good spot but the price is driven up by the hype.

Food and drinks were amazing! The portion sizes were perfect. The staff was kind and attentive. Would absolutely come back again, can't recommend this place enough.

On our first day in Frankfurt, we decided to have breakfast here, and we instantly loved the vibe—the interior is really cool! Everything looked amazing; check out my photos to see both the food and the interior. I loved the carrot cake—it’s a must-try!! My sister ate the acai bowl and really enjoyed it. The matcha strawberry pancakes weren’t really to our taste, we didn’t like them att all but you might like them. Our Earth matcha smoothies were super thick —we didn’t even get ice, so they were really dense… Overall, if you’re looking for a place that’s perfect for an aesthetic story, this spot is totally for you!

The coffee and food was absolutely delicious and so filling. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely go back and would recommend. The staff were efficient and friendly and they have plenty of seating both inside and out.

I discovered this place thanks to Oitheblog writers (Turkish bloggers), but I didn’t know I will be obsessed with this place. During my 2 days accommodation I came here twice, because I wanted to try different kind of dishes. And I don’t regret, if I stayed one more day I would go one more time. Especially Bagel bread with truffle cream cheese was very very delicious. But be careful, at the weekends after 10.30 it is getting crowded and probably you will wait around 15-20 minutes. But it totally worth. Don’t miss this chance.

Update: Unfortunately, things have changed in the last few months. The staff has become very arrogant, and instead of friendly service you are met with rudeness and tension, as if you are intruding in their home rather than visiting a café where you should feel relaxed. The service has gone from good to truly catastrophic. I really hope they improve and bring back the cool and pleasant atmosphere this place once had, because right now it is far from the enjoyable experience I described before. ————————————————————————————————————— If you're looking for an excellent breakfast spot, this bar is a must-visit! They offer a great selection of vegan dishes at reasonable prices. You’ll find a variety of fresh fruit bowls, delicious Benedict eggs, and much more. The location is fantastic, making it a perfect stop to kickstart your day. The only downside? The bar is quite small, so wait times can be a bit long, especially during peak hours.
