Sunnymead Hotel

Have to say this hotel is a gem. Has Palm Spring vibe with the rooms very clean and very nice wellness products. We had (I was with my daughter) a steam sauna and mist spray package where you are supplied a DIY products (hair treatment and body treatment). We had dinner and the restaurant which was very tasty (fusion) type food and a good wine selection. Overall a lovely stay and with a late checkout we thought we had stayed much longer than just the night. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely adorable! I booked online and loved the photos and 'vibe', however they didn't do it enough justice! The units are stylishly and cleverly decorated and furnished comfortably. There's enough room to move around and the bed was super comfy. The pool. and bar was a lovely touch to an afternoon of driving. A walk across the road to the pub was a winner, as was breaky and coffees a quick walk away ... will be back! Thank you :)

Super cute accommodation. We recently traveled to Europe and it reminds us so much of our stay at one of the Greek islands. Super accommodating with the pool open all hours, outdoor fire pit available to everyone, in room card games plus cocktail mixer and gorgeous cocktail glasses (we brought our own because no accommodation normal have these but there’s were too cute not to use!) Plus a cheeky adults play box that you can purchase which I found to be a really fun idea. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others!

We had a lovely stay at the Sunnymead Hotel in Aireys Inlet. It is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a mini getaway in a nice coastal town. The room is very nicely decorated and comfortable. We also love the steam room in the spa which is included in our room package. We will be back!

We had only booked a one-night stay to do the Great Ocean Road, all through our evening we were musing that we wished we had been able to spend more time in Aireys Inlet just to be able to enjoy the hotel. When the room was first booked, we assumed that it would be nothing more than a clean room and bathroom to rest and reset on the road - we arrived to what looked like a stunning spa resort! The lady we spoke to at check-in was lovely and warm, was happy to give us plenty of information about the area and then handed us our key for the room. As soon as we opened the door to the room, our jaws hit the floor and we almost thought we had to go back to the reception because we'd accidentally been given someone else's suite. Nope, it was ours! The rooms were bright and warm, wonderful decor, a bed so comfy we were almost late for check-out. There was a wonderful cocktail kit (complete with spirit, garnish, syrups, juice, etc) the room also came with a Manhattan shaker, coup glasses and tradition hawthorn strainer, bar spoon and jigger, there was a kettle, toaster, and coffee pod machine. The bathroom had a WONDERFUL waterfall shower with beautiful tiling and basin sink. We were almost sad to be going to dinner with friends away from the premises as everything was so lovely! Thank you again to the wonderful staff who took care of us, we had such an amazing stay! If you find yourself in Aireys Inlet - be good to yourself and check into Sunnymead Hotel!

The best hotel on Ocean Road! It is surprising that there are rooms available, as for such a low price, the guests receive very high quality hotel service: cozy modern rooms, modern large TV, minibar, spacious room, cool furniture, cleanliness, tea/coffee, curtains with total darkness, pool, SPA, cocktail bar. Other hotels/motels I've been to on Ocean Road are suffering... Sunnymead Hotel WOW! deservedly gets 5 stars in my review

I booked a room at Sunnymead as a little getaway for my mums birthday, and it was nothing short of amazing! the staff were so lovely, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the great quality shampoos and soaps were such a bonus - unlike any other hotel! Sunnymead had such a beautiful vibe. I never write reviews but i couldn't recommend it enough. Easily the most affordable and fantastic place to stay along the great ocean road.

A very beautiful and well maintained hotel with spacious, clean rooms, that are decorated very nicely. 😍 Great sized T.V, comfortable bed, pillows and sheets, nice complimentary tea and coffee, and equiped with cups, cutlery, but no microwave which would have been handy. It has a clean spacious pool (although it was too cold to use this unfortunately)🥶. The staff at the front were always extremely friendly and helpful. 🙏🏼The spa offers a range of massages and packages, although expensive 🤑 There is a nice looking restaurant on site, but is only open on specific nights. Breakfast is not included. The location is pretty good, with only a short distance to popular towns such as Lorne and Anglesea. The great ocean road is roughly 2 hours away from this spot.
