I recently visited Sunnys Restaurant at 50, Lavelle Road, Shanthala Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001 on 🗓 Date: 3 October 2025
⏰ Time: 9 PM based on friends’ recommendations, but my experience was disappointing. The ambiance and menu looked great — lots of options, including 15+ dessert choices — but the service was a mess.
We ordered pasta and a beef steak, asking for dishes to be served as they were ready. The steak arrived cold, tough, and chewy — clearly not freshly prepared. When I raised this with the manager, he said steaks take 30–40 minutes. Yes, preparation takes time, but serving cold food is unacceptable.
The manager then told us “please leave” — rude, unprofessional, and not how paying customers should be treated. Observing the staff, it was clear the problem was systemic: many staff seemed frustrated, uncooperative, and unwilling to support the manager. This lack of teamwork directly affected food quality and service.
I’m not blaming the manager entirely — the staff’s behavior made his job difficult. But the way the situation was handled left a very negative impression.
I’m sharing this review to help the restaurant improve and prevent future customers from facing the same disappointment. With proper staff cooperation and accountability, Sunnys Restaurant can restore the quality it was known for. Hopefully, management sees this, takes responsibility, and makes things right.
