Sunny’s Scoops

Beautiful location in Maine's farm country off Route 1. Giffords icecream is always good and, the alpacas and donkeys were an added bonus.

We visited this nice little ice cream shop several times during our stay in Maine. No regrets. The good: They serve Gifford's ice cream. The portions are generous. The prices are very fair. Great variety. I recommend the 4 scoop sampler. Friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating. Also, it's on a farm and the market sells some fresh fruits and veggies and eggs. They also have some donkeys and alpacas, but far enough removed not to affect your enjoyment of the ice cream. The less than great: the parking lot makes the place a little dusty on a windy day. A little outdoor decor would add a nice touch. Overall, this place is great and worth the stop. Thanks Sunny's Scoops for keeping us happy in the ice cream department during our stay in Maine.

Great ice cream, tons of flavors and big menu for about anything you would want for ice cream! Very fair prices and great portions too. We enjoyed their outside seating also. Then my Daughter, Granddaughter and myself watched the Alpacas for quite a while, they was just wonderful to watch! I highly recommend Sunny's Scoops especially if you like Gifford's ice cr. and Alpacas!!

Such a cute little spot! The grapenuts and the blueberry flavors were great and the decor was adorable :) The employee working was super nice and answered all of our questions about the menu.

We left there feeling like we were cheating of a good experience. The prices were way too high for the scant amount of ice cream received. We WILL NOT be going back and are not interested in giving them another chance. We will continue to travel to our favorite destination for ice cream

Great local ice cream place "Giffords ". They bought Tracy Hajula's ice cream truck. Reasonable prices added shakes and sundaes plus other goodies. Yum

Family owned farm and ice cream spot. Roadside pull over and see the llamas and pony’s!!

This ice cream stand serves Gifford's ice cream in cones, shakes, and sundaes. There are picnic tables and chairs. A great summertime treat.
