Went in looking for a bottle ofBeaujolais red wine for my doctors retirement/birthday party. I had no idea since I don’t drink. I went in and was greeted by 2 gentlemen who were super friendly. I showed them what I was looking for and one of them came around from the counter and pointed me to what I was looking for. He even asked me what was my desired taste. I explained to him that it wasn’t for me but for my doctor who was retiring. He chose one for me and guaranteed that he would be pleased. I was happy with the service selection and price. Very affordable. 2 days later doctor calls and says that he loved the wine. Definitely recommend

One of my two go to places in the area. I like the selection, prices, atmosphere (clean, airy, not a dark hole in the wall) and helpful staff.

Huge selection of wines and liquors. Sunny is super sweet and knowledgeable. Very willing to stock what the people in the neighborhood want. Prices are really reasonable and the layout is well organized with plenty of space for browsing. Also, they deliver to certain areas for free. Huge plus!

I’ve been coming here for years and it is the best liquor store in NYC!! Compared with other stores nearby Sunny’s wine & spirits has the best prices along with the selection. Always friendly! Mr & Mrs Kim always giving out free cups and boxes. Oh and they wrap bottles for free!

I would recommend giving this place a try, if they are not better than your current liquor store, I will buy you a bottle. In addition to a wide selection of wine from all regions, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly with check out speeds faster than other stores in the area such as Trader Joe's. Definitely will purchase from them again.

This place is hands down the best, most reliable store in the tri-state area. The manager Sunny I believe his name was was very hands on and knows how to treat the customers. Customer service from the other employees as well as pricing at this liquor store you can not beat.

Great prices for Grey Goose 750ml. $30 I believe. I paid upwards of $40 in Times Square so if you're away from the hotels, neighborhood stores are your best bet

Decent selection & reasonable prices (pretty much true to average prices on Vivino) but with a name like Sunny's, one might expect a friendlier place. I guess I got spoiled by the friendly folks at Trader Joe's. I've been here a few times & did once get a warm welcome & a good recommendation, but the vibe is generally very cold & the woman behind the counter barely says Hello let alone answers how she is doing...evidently not well! It's a bit odd. I almost felt like asking her if something was wrong, but she's always like this. Not a great spirit!

Great local wine shop with very helpful staff. Came in on a friday and they had a cool tequila tasting! I'll definitely come back again!

Sunny's has such a big variety of wines! They split up the store into different regions of wines making it easy to find what you're looking for. The employees are also so helpful with helping you find what you want. Also they're priced better than nearby wine & spirit stores. Definitely recommend this store for a party you're hosting or even for a casual night of wine and dine in!

Amazing selection and great staff to help you find what your looking for. Also has both spirits and wine tastings during the weekend, great if your up to trying something new.

Go to spot in the area. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful in selecting what's right for the occasion and mood. Prices are reasonable as well which is always a plus in the city.

Been looking online for a liquor store to deliver a bottle of Scotch in celebration of a friends' 60th birthday and some how came upon Sunny's. They were extremely accommodating, friendly and all with reasonable prices! How lucky was I? I even got Sunny on the phone. I highly recommend Sunny's for all your spirits. Such a nice experience.

This a great neighborhood wine shop. The selection is simple. It is clean, and the prices are very good. It is family run, and they have made good recommendations to me. If you are looking for exotic wines, this might not be best place. If you are looking for a bottle of malbec for under $15, then I'd recommend this place. The wines they carry seem to be selected for offering good quality for reasonable prices.

Wonderful wine & spirits store in LES with great prices and a wide selection (great prices on the Japanese whiskeys). I love the people there especially Fidel he recommends the best wines! Free tasting on Friday's and if you need something delivered or gift wrapped it's FREE!

I come here afrer work often and they always have a great selection of wines. I defintely recommend them!

They made shopping so easy in these difficult times. I called ahead and checked that they had what I wanted. They were nice and helpful on the phone and actually had what I was looking for in stock which many other places were out of. I placed my order and gave them my credit card info. Arrived at the store a short time later and all I had to do was show my ID (required by law) and take my already bagged items.

Very reliable place, great attitude,great selection of whites & chilean reds..knowledgeable on their wine selection which is a valuable resource every time. AND MOST IMPORTANT: THEY HAVE the VEUVE CLICQUOT !! (orange lable) so you are always the most welcome guest !

Good wine selection, but their spirits are a bit limited (especially their whiskey). A bit on the pricier side, but they have a ton of nips in the window for the tiny alcoholic in all of us.

Nice little Mom / Pop shop that focuses on more wine then liquor. They carry some of my most favorite wines titles like: Chateau Martinet St-Emilion(about $20), Marques de Caceres Rioja's, Los Vascos Chilean Cab's($20), and my ultimate favorite is Concha Y Toro Cab/Merlot blend (1.5L is sooo cheap about $9)!!!

This place is amazing its spacious and clean, they have a very wide selection of options. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable, and they do alcohol tastings on Fridays, honestly what more could you ask for in a liquor store. Love this place! Definitely recommend to everyone to stop in and check it out.

I go here from time to time and I think it's a decent place. I don't understand why people give this store such bad reviews though. People talk about racism but being half Asian half white (but looking pretty Asian) I've never felt personally offended or anything like that. But as for tips, there's a pretty big selection to choose from.

Great place, conveniently located. I haven't looked through their wines, but they have a great bourbon selection. I really like that it's independently owned and I'm not donating $$ to some faceless corporation.

Refused to take my card because it didn't have a chip. Tried to make 300 excuses and then at the end just said they wouldn't take it just because it didn't have a chip. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB for rescuing my legal tender and I'll be making sure to tell everyone I know to never go there.

I have been buying most of my wine here for many years. It is a nice small papa/mama/daughter shop. But, it appears that they study customers' taste very well. I believe the owner and the staff are well equipped with a wide knowledge on wine. If they do not carry my choice, at next visit, they already have them on the shelves. Try them, they can get you any wine you request at a great price. Alex G.
