The food was absolutely delicious! We were anticipating a 30 minute wait, but we were able to score outdoor seating in less than 10 minutes. Absolutely love the fact that everything from the French fries to the cinnamon rolls are locally sourced. The specialty French toast was divine. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Really nice place. This was our first time here, and we enjoyed it. I had the chicken fried chicken with scrambled eggs , a side of sliced tomatoes and bacon. The meal was absolutely perfect. My wife had the Chilaquilles, and they were fantastic. I will definitely come back here again.

Food is great! Service is above and beyond! Every waiter and waitress approached our table to refill our coffee cup. This restaurant understands customer service! I applaud the entire staff, management and owners!

Google
One of our favorite breakfast spots! The coffee is fresh and always on. The food is always fast and delicious! The service is hands down the friendliest and kindest in the 405! You may need to wait a few minutes for a seat, but that’s the case with all the good breakfast spots around here. I tried the lemon blueberry pancakes today and they were amazing.

Google
Sunnyside Diner is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The food was amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a cozy and delicious morning meal!

Google
Waiter was very good, attentive to our lunch Schedule. Good food for that type of place. I chose the Salad for dietary reasons. Other friends food looked Good and no one complained. Good spot!!!

Google
The food was great and the service was excellent Our server was funny and helpful, this was our first visit. The omelette was delicious, the coffee was good. The lemon blueberry French toast was good but needed a little something, so we ordered a side of cream cheese to spread in between and it was awesome!!

Google
Cute place! We were immediately greeted as we came into the Cafe. There was a wait, so I asked for a coffee while I sat, and they promptly had me one in hand. There were several nice options on the menu, and the lady even shared her recommendations based on popularity. I opted for the Croque Madame and it was veeeery good! Totally recommend that one! They make their own bread, which i thought was neat! The eggs and cream sauce were so good on the meat and homemade bread! Good portions, quick service, and tasty food!

Yelp
Definitely in my top 3 brunch spots. Breakfast Burger: 10/10, My bf said its the best burger he's had in a while and was wowed when the chef came by to let him know about the handmade bun Chicken & Biscuit: 10/10, I really love how fresh and flavorful the chicken was and the biscuit just melts in your mouth. I love thie diner style vibe, very homey and comfortable. The service was fast and friendly. Ask for Champagne, she's the best!

Yelp
This is going to be our new go-to diner when we are in town!! This place is amazing! You're greeted with warmth the minute you enter. I love that you can seat yourself anywhere, we picked a window booth and got a great view of the quiet town on a Sunday morning at 7:30am. I ordered a hot tea and loved how it was a heaping tea bag with a little hourglass timer (for 3 min, 4min or 5 min steep). Our waitress recommended 4 min and she was right. You also get unlimited hot water refill which was greatly appreciated! Same with if you order coffee, they keep coming around to top off your cup. After hearing the recommendations from the waitress, I ordered the huevos rancheros. And BOY sunnyside diner sure has a different take on this dish! It was like I've never seen before (and I've had many, see my reviews!). They make their charro beans in house and top an egg (your way) on top with crunchy tortilla strips. You can order red sauce, green sauce, or what they call 'Christmas' sauce (mix of the red and green) and of course I tried the christmas sauce. It was fantastic! The dish comes with two folded flour tortilla on the side and it was great to dip this in the charro beans for sure. The dish is a huge serving, I couldn't finish it. The hubs got something off of the perfectly plant based menu as he can't have dairy or sugar or anything red meat. He got the plant based poutine. He must have loved it because it was gone before I could try it. We ended up taking a apple pie to go as per waitress recommendation and it was a hit at the party we went to that evening. Needless to say, we'll be back here next time we are in town!

Yelp
Started the day off right with breakfast at Sunnyside Diner in OKC! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was just what we needed to kickstart our morning. If you're looking for a great spot with friendly service and delicious dishes, you've got to check this place out! #SunnysideDiner #BreakfastVibes #OKC Sunnyside Diner My waitress is Anna-very kind and helpful.

Yelp
Great food and service, perfect Sunday brunch. The Biscuit Debris was excellent, definitely worth the stop when in OKC!

Yelp
Great food, relaxing diner atmosphere, and great service! Our breakfast was delicious and made-to-order. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
This is my first time at Sunnyside Diner. Mostly because I'm not a huge diner fan, but tried it anyway. Walked in and the place was clean, service was kind and we were immediately seated. The guy came to take our order, which he got completely wrong, but he was kind about getting it corrected! Our correct order finally came out and boy was it freaking delicious. The chicken fried steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Maybe the best chicken friend steak I've ever had! I also love have they offer Afro Pop (black owned soda company) and they have freshly made pies! Definitely recommend this place for a nice meal!

Yelp
We are visiting OKC for a few days and the Sunnyside Diner is just a block away from where we are staying. We could not resist coming here for breakfast since it was so close. This place has it going on. If there is a waiting line, the staff brings you coffee! Everyone we dealt with were super friendly and had a great attitude. The place was packed inside and outside where several tables with umbrellas are located. In spite of the crowd, service was efficient and food was promptly served. I had the Corned Beef and Hash. Made from scratch and was excellent. Generous portion with 2 eggs on top. It came with Hollandaise which I had on the side. if you leave hungry, it's certainly not their fault. Next time in Oklahoma City I'm definitely stopping by again.

Yelp
Great breakfast near downtown OKC. Easy parking and excellent service. Food was great.

Yelp
Great place for a good breakfast at a good price! Chicken fried steak is my usual go to here because it's so tasty and tender. This visit I just wanted pancakes and sausage to fulfill my craving. Breakfast was served hot , fast and with a smile.

Yelp
This week I went and ordered a turkey bacon meal, there were no more than 13 and they charged me 27, terrible service, I put $3 as a tip because they really didn't serve me well! So I guess they added the rest

Yelp
First time to this neighborhood dinner....crowded on the weekends for a reason, it's fantastic! It was a cool August morning and as we waited for a table outside the server brought us coffee.( Mind blown ) Although it was packed our wait was not long. About 20 minutes. Our server Carrie was very friendly. Actually everyone there was. The dinner atmosphere is bright and cherry with plenty of natural light and some outdoor seating. We ordered the sweet roll to share with the table. It was delivered hot with 4 forks. The espresso sauce was very sweet. I ordered the midtown burrito which was very good thought a it had way too many red peppers in it. The green sauce added a nice little savory heat to the dish. My hubs ordered the blueberry lemon French toast that was on brioche bread. It is definitely a delicious sweet treat. He also ordered the Carmel White Russian cocktail. It was strong and sweet. Overall this was a real gem of a find in the Sosa district of OKC!

Yelp
Caesar, the manager, knows how to run a great food spot. We decided to sit at the bar at 11 am considering it was busy (for good reason). I had not been to this location; however, sitting in front of the food window created a very indecisive situation! Everything looked amazingly good, and it was! If you can't decide on what to choose on the menu, just close your eyes and point to a spot on the page. It's all that good! I'll be back for some coconut pie too!

Yelp
Eggs Benedict flight. 'Nuff said. Get in there. Get after it. Would've paired well with a bloody flight if I wasn't working that day.

Yelp
SO GOOD!! Definitely one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places. I love how the use fresh and local ingredients. They also have a wide variety menu which is nice

Yelp
Wait staff was great. Atmosphere was old school diner vibe and super chill. The food was outstanding. Mimosas by the bottle definitely recommend. The fat elvis cakes and chilaquiles were what we ordered today. Go check them out you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Sunnyside Diner is my go-to breakfast spot. I'm obsessed with one of their specials, The Spicy Colonel! I'd love to sign a petition for them to make this a full-time menu item!!!
google avatar

Zoe P.

Yelp
the service was decent but the food was a little bland. we came early on a tuesday morning. they weren't busy. the gravy for the biscuit was very bland. everything else was decent but not something memorable. the pecan pie was good.
google avatar

William G.

Yelp
Wonderful service. A really friendly server brought coffee outside for a group of us waiting for an open seat. Very nice indeed.
google avatar

Shelby W.

Yelp
TLDR vibe is good, food is hit or miss, customer service needs work. Incredibly hit or miss experience. The aesthetic is super cute! The bathrooms are super nice! The biscuits and gravy were amazing! However, my omelet was delicious, but lukewarm and super greasy from the cooking oil they use. We ate at 10am, and they were out of a lot of essential ingredients. It would've been nice to know what all they were out of before we looked at the menu. The waitress dropped my friend's meal and didn't tell us until we'd waited several minutes and wondered where her food was. She then had to wait a really long time for just two eggs over easy and a piece of sourdough-- like everyone else was done eating, and the eggs weren't even done. The waitress never offered any apology or thanked my friend for her patience, and that would've taken the experience to 5 stars.
google avatar

Josie Y.

Yelp
When I walked in here I was low key shook, I swear everybody was smiley and happy. The name does match the environment. Our waitress was super kind and didn't even bat an eye when I asked for creamer that she has already put on the table. The food was great classic brunch/diner food, but especially the French toast it was absolute fire. Definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Dwayne H.

Yelp
Cinnamon Roll? No, nope, nada it looked less than a bakery item on aisle 7 at the grocery store swimming in juice, I gave both of them away.

Yelp
Everything about my most recent visit to Sunnyside Diner was ahhhmazing Before i get into my amazing experience let me just stop you here and say if you haven't tried the Key Lime French Toast, you're sincerely missing out. It's limited time only, so don't walk, run.... The Caramel White Russian was so good i had to order a second I can't get over how nice the wait staff is. Constantly making sure everything came out how I ordered, and keeping my cup filled. Side note: an entire karafe of mimosas is $18. I feel like that's a steal compared to other options. Must say, i will always be back. Not my first visit, won't be my last. Sunnyside does it every time for me. Until next time

Yelp
I always enjoy meals at Sunnyside although this was my first time at this location. We were told the table will be ready in 25 minutes, we were a10 people group so I understand waiting but we had to wait for 42 minutes. The server was very nice and apologetic.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Not bad but, it wasn't the best biscuits qnd gravy. I honestly enjoyed the On Que biscuits and gravy more. Also waited 20 minutes for my food.
google avatar

Conor L.

Yelp
Easy to drive from Downtown OKC to this diner, and enjoy a meal before going into work. There's plenty of parking, and has floor to ceiling windows so you can catch the sunrise. I'll definitely be going back!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
My husband had a dr appt at OU hospital and I searched for breakfast nearby and liked the sound of Sunnyside Diner. It will now be our go-to. In fact I told my husband if after his outpatient surgery next week, he doesn't feel like eating he can watch me Service was great and we got our food quickly even though it was very crowded.
google avatar

DeeDee P.

Yelp
Best pancakes !! And even better biscuits and gravy!! Service was amazing! Will definitely be going back.

Nico M.

Yelp
Good service. Good food. No available non-pork protein options (turkey sausage, turkey bacon). Found that odd considering they had plant base menu.
google avatar

Carla S.

Yelp
This place has been disappointing so far. The only thing I've found with any flavor is their sausage gravy. Everything else lacked seasoning, lacked either cooking oil or butter, and/or were cooked wrong. Their biscuit is sheet cake, so it's texture is all wrong, no craggy edges or crumbly bits. Their country potatoes had no herbs or seasoning whatsoever, and didn't even touch a pan..big no-no. They looked baked, and when I asked for them extra crispy, they simply dropped them in the fryer and turned them into an oily crunchy mess. My hash browns were dry and flavorless, and all crumbly and caked together inside. Even my omelet, while better and fluffy, was a little low on flavor, but not bad. I did like the cheese on top and the bacon was crispy. This location lacks the atmosphere I'm used to at the Edmond location. It's just old and grimey, wood-paneled -- definitely a hole in need of a remodel. At least the servers are friendly. Upon leaving I noticed at the entrance they don't have any family-friendly metro magazine reading materials, just a lone political rag. So either they don't understand their local customer base or they don't care and are giving them a big middle finger up. Either way it's a dumb move.

Yelp
Such a lovely breakfast spot. It is cute inside and the prices are reasonable for the big portions. Our server was very attentive and excellent. The food was flavorful.

Yelp
I will never say no to coming here. I love all locations and I think they all give that local community love feeling. I love the old school ambiance that the location on MacArthur has but I live closest to downtown and all I can say is I'm glad they have parking across the street because it is constantly busy. The food always fills me up and I've always loved everything I've ordered.. especially the cinnamon rolls. Great coffee too, I mean great. Their service has always been great, sweet on the phone and in person, and food always comes out fast. This is a favorite of mine.

Brooke B.

Yelp
Food was great, service was incredible! Our waitress was extremely patient and kind to a group that was hangry from traveling all day. Would definitely come back.

Carolynn D.

Yelp
Visiting town and stopped in for lunch. Can not say enough good things. Lightest pancakes EVER! All farm to table with an extensive vegetarian/vegan menu.
google avatar

Vic D.

Yelp
Visited the Sunnyside Diner for breakfast. Service was awesome, food was excellent and the vibe was like a true diner. Would have breakfast here whenever we're visiting OKC.

Yelp
I'll preface this review with the fact that we've been here before and had good service and great food. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. This last time was such a disappointment that I don't think we'll be back though. It was a busy Sunday so we sat at the counter. The waiter was friendly and fast with our drinks and orders. It all started going downhill after that though. My medium steak with my steak and eggs came our just a slight step up from rare. We brushed it off and I ate it because it was a busy time and we had places to be and didn't really have time to wait for another one. Then we waited for 20 minutes for our server to come back with the coffee pot to fill my boyfriend's coffee. We were able to flag down another server who got us some. We had finished our food and cashed out but my boyfriend was still finishing the coffee he had finally gotten. Our server saw some regulars who normally sit in the seat I was currently he announced over our heads that we'd be leaving soon and started setting up their coffees and menus before we were even out of the seats. The regulars (two older gentlemen) walked over and just hovered above us waiting for us to move. They weren't asked to wait up front and the server kept hovering around apologizing to them because we were still in their seats! Umm what? We weren't camping out, my boyfriend just wanted to finish his coffee that had taken so long to get because the server was nowhere to be found. Had he been available or paying attention then we would have been gone a lot sooner. Their food is reasonably priced but not enough so it's fair to be rushed out of a spot we were in first and would be vacating shortly. All that to say, we felt incredibly unvalued as customers because we weren't even allowed to finish our coffee in peace without being rushed out while the manager stood right there and did not intervene or at minimum, the regulars to wait in the waiting areas for another 5 minutes on a busy Sunday morning. I've never been around a more unprofessional setting in my whole life and my partner and I both worked in the industry for a number of years.

Yelp
Soo good! I have been here a few times and leave sooo full. Good food, drinks and nice staff.
google avatar

Tamar H.

Yelp
The staff is terrific and polite. Very busy and diners inside and on patio. My friend ordered the LA ham and cheese. She loved it. I ordered the sunny side combo but chose scrambled eggs and bacon and hash browns. The bacon was top notched.

Staci R.

Yelp
Very friendly spot for breakfast. Champaine was a great server, we enjoyed her. Food was very good, homemade bread and jam. Clean restaurant. Would definitely come back.

Taylor G.

Yelp
We love Sunnyside! Also, it is our go-to place for breakfast when friends come to town. I enjoy the plant-based options too! The staff is the best!

Can Fat People E.

Yelp
Can Fat People Eat Here? Maybe 5: yes 3: maybe 1: no Sunnyside had a good sized menu so it's a good maybe. I recommend the hangry man as it will fill you the most. Some items just don't fill ya up but the pricing is a little higher for you to just get more. The food is good in my opinion and I like the vibes.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Not worth the wait. Took forever to sit, forever to get service. Food came out wrong and cold. Do not recommend.
google avatar

Dana M.

Yelp
Delicious sausage links and fluffy pancakes. Good sized portions, definitely enough to share. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
Came during the morning rush and were quickly seated outside near a propane heater. We then waited over 15 mins to get our drink order taken care of. The server was friendly and efficient after that. Food was decent and filling, which was much needed after a few drinks the night before.

Ricardo R.

Yelp
The worst service I never coming back I was waiting for long time in the table nobody came to ask me for my order
google avatar

JD M.

Yelp
Really great little diner in downtown OKC. Service is excellent and with a smile. The place is super clean, as are the restrooms. I had Biscuit Debris and could not be happier with my selection. Mercy that was good! Also a cinnamon roll, which was served in a hot skillet and the sauce was bubbling hot. Delicious! I had a taste and I took most of that home with me for later. It was as good the next day, just not as eventful.
google avatar

Gina F.

Yelp
New favorite breakfast place when I'm in town!! Puppy friendly patio, fantastic service and absolutely delicious food! Do yourself a life changing favor and get a cinnamon roll... they're hands down best I've ever eaten!
google avatar

Crystal A.

Yelp
Omg! The hatch breakfast burger is next level. And just get the chips. You can thank me later. The pancakes are scrumptious, and they have a chicken biscuit that
google avatar

Angela A.

Yelp
The Açaí bowl was cool and refreshing. It was a nice break from a hot breakfast entree. My go-to is either oatmeal or omelette. I had it with a side of bacon. Period sweet and salty combo. My wonderful waitperson was Ashley.

Yelp
Nothing special, just a Diner with Just ok food Service was ok, place was clean. Bacon , eggs, toast & mostly white hash browns ( not cooked long enough) Benedict the English muffin wasn't toasted.
