Sunnyside Eatery, a bright woman and Native American-owned gem in Gustavus, serves fresh organic fare and hearty sandwiches amidst charming outdoor seating.
A nice place to stop for lunch or dinner, with a couple options on the menu, which change daily. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We had the Pulled Pork Burrito and the Reuben, which were both decently prepared and satisfying. It didn’t take too long for the food to come out, around 10 or 15 minutes, but the service was a little rude.

Sandwiches are wonderful & staff are friendly but the water needs to be filtered. It is metallic tasting & has a slight redish tint. Since they do not serve traditional carbonated beverages (coke, diet coke, pepsi, etc.), it is hard to find something to drink. The bottled water is just too expensive. Bring your own water.

This is a great shop with plenty of fresh options to choose from. The sandwiches here are also well made and quite delicious. If you're in the area, this shop is worth your time.

We enjoyed the meatloaf special along with a lovely kale salad. Really nice to eat at the outdoor tables during a sunny hour. Highly recommend.

They'll make your sandwich just the way you want it, if you know what you want and explain.
