We stayed at Sunrise Beach Club for three days on Paradise Island and overall had a great experience. The location is beautiful — it’s right on the beach, with plenty of natural shade and warm, calm water. It’s also within easy walking distance to Atlantis, which was very convenient.
The property has two pool locations, both of which were very nice and offered a great alternative to the beach when we wanted to relax poolside. It never felt overcrowded, and the pools added to the laid-back resort feel.
There is a restaurant on site with reasonably priced food that was decent and convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our unit was clean, and when we arrived, the air-conditioning wasn’t working well, but they sent someone immediately to fix it, which we really appreciated.
We stayed in a one-bedroom unit. My husband and I slept in the bedroom, and our son used the pullout couch in the living area. They provided extra sheets and blankets for him, which was thoughtful. However, the pullout mattress wasn’t very comfortable, and it would have helped to have blackout curtains in the living area — there’s an exterior light that stays on all night and made it harder for him to sleep.
The unit also had a small kitchen stocked with pots, pans, and the basics needed to make simple meals, which was a nice bonus.
Overall, despite a few minor comfort issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The beachfront location, helpful staff, nice pool options, and relaxed atmosphere made this a solid choice on Paradise Island, and we would stay here again.
