First time dining here. The waitress was so nice!! I kinda like to jack with waitresses and she gave it back. It was a fun breakfast with really good food! I don't like a big breakfast. I ordered just a bacon sandwich with grits. My family love everything they ordered. I would definitely eat here again. You will love the staff!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit feel warm and relaxed. You can tell they truly care about their customers. I LOVED eating here for breakfast! This was hands down one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had. The food was amazing, the drinks were also wonderful. Awesome selection of cocktails AND non-alcoholic beverages. Truly a creative spot with plenty of options. For us, we had gotten an eggs Benedict, and the fruit crepes with the muffin of the day (BROWNIE MUFFIN!). Absolutely delicious food. Not only that, our server was the PERFECT amount of attentive. Oh my goodness, we will back many times. For our drinks, I had gotten a Carafe of mimosa and he had gotten a tequila sunrise. Amazing experience and food.

We really enjoyed today’s breakfast thank you for the great service and food. The food was delicious and the portions are great. The options for healthy food is there for us that workout. The coffee flights were are favorite it just gave us a unique experience. Thank you Moe for your hospitality and your staff was great. We will be back.

The food was really taste, you just have to know that the fries will come with a sweet seasoning that they can leave off if you do not like sweet fries. Waffle was great, eggs cooked to perfection and the bacon was delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich was tasty and the salad was interesting, I enjoyed it, just didn’t know that the fries would be sweet

I love this place. They never disappoint. I love their veggie omelette. Today I got 1 biscuit and gravy & a side of breakfast potatoes. Delicious. I can’t even begin to describe how good it is. You’ll just have to go try it out. When dining in with children😊they have a huge connect four game you can play.

They have a new owner and it has gone down hill. The potatoes were gross and they stopped serving alcohol. They also had only one decoration. Single watermelon at their register. Friendly staff, awesome food! Had the Carmel pecan French toast. Wonderful flavor. Hubby had the Okie breakfast, I was shocked he didn't have to ask for gravy on his potatoes. They have chocolate gravy on the menu but I like mine homemade.

We were really impressed with Sunrise Cafe! Had to wait a few minutes to be seated on a Sunday just before 11am, but were quickly served with drinks and able to order. Server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant itself was bright and colorful, one large dining room but the noise wasn't overwhelming. We ordered the Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Egg sandwich and the Breakfast Scramble, both of which were enjoyed. French fries and breakfast potatoes were great as well. As a plus, the presentation of the food was much more appealing than you'd find at most cafes. My only complaint lies with most breakfast joints, not just SC. The seasonal fruit cup is always a disappointment. You know the one: cantaloupe, honeydew melon, 3 sad purple grapes, and 2 bites of tasteless pineapple. Overall, our meal was delicious and we had leftovers to take home. With tip, we spent about $40 for 2 drinks and 2 entrees.

Giving one star for service and one star for the pancakes. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the breakfast. Orange juice was $4 a glass and it was from concentrate? I got an iced sugar free carmel vanilla coffee to see if it would be any better but was also let down. The taste was almost chemical. The syrup in the coffee was awful. Chicken and waffles (sub a pancake) was decent but the chicken batter was really greasy and generally lacking in flavor. I was really excited to try this place since it is nearby but was let down after spending $50 and still having to get Starbucks afterwards.

Oh honey! This was my first meal in Tulsa after moving here from L.A and I was not disappointed. The service was great and super friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. The hardest part was deciding what to eat. I'm definitely going back to try more goodies.

Good breakfast, the pumpkin pancakes are amazing, the French toast is amazing as well as the eggs and bacon. The service is good and pretty quick to serve you. The decor is ok, it is a little loud but we are usually in and out pretty quick and always pleased with everything.

Such a hidden gem! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. My daughter loved the home cooked old fashioned oat meal. I had the chocolate gravy on a biscuit and it was delectable. The service was as expected for a hometown diner feel. Don't sleep on this restaurant. Even if you think you've eaten here under the "previous ownership" give it a try. You won't regret it!

3 star rating based upon the food was good and my comments. The previous owner cut back to one piece of toast (basic bread type) with your breakfast which the new owner continued with. I myself like to wipe up the egg yolk with my toast and need 1 piece of toast per egg cooked over easy or medium which I typically order three eggs. Requested two extra slices since I knew it would only include one slice based upon past experience and was charged the price of a full loaf of bread for those two slices which I give them credit for removing from my bill. They said the reason for one slice is that most customers only eat one slice and the other slice becomes a wasted expense out of their profit margin. I fully understand that rational but my point is they should at least ask if the customer would like one or two slices of toast or assume the customer might like one slice per egg ordered and not charge the cost of a 1/2 the cost of a full loaf of bread per extra slice.

The food was really bad. One of the first times I've ever not finished my plate and still be hungry because it was so miserable and there was a hair in my food. The service was even worse. Took about 5 minutes to be greeted at our table then the only other time we saw our server was when he gave us the check. Never checked in on us once to see how things were going, and because of that I wasn't able to bring the hair in my potatoes to his attention. And then when I went to pay and pointed it out they only took three dollars off my 16 dollar meal. Probably the worst experience I've ever had. You're better off at iHop food and service wise.

This is one of those places that we've driven by dozens of times and said "wonder if it's any good" and now can finally say yes, yes it is. Most importantly, the bacon came out perfect. Crispy but not overdone and a generous portion for the side order. My husband has had the huevos rancheros twice now and declares them perfect, though he recommends the breakfast potatoes over the hash browns. I've had the waffle and French Toast and both were great. The caramel nut French Toast came with a serious helping of banana and just the right amount of caramel sauce to flavor it without making it soggy. Pair all of this with a fun assortment of breakfast bubbles and great service and we've got a place we'll be visiting often!

Found Sunrise Cafe via yelp while visiting Tulsa. We added ourselves to the waitlist, which was about a 20-30 minute wait. By the time we arrived we had about a 5 minute wait & was seated. The waiting room was full of people waiting to be seated so we knew we hit a great spot. This place turns tables fast. Service & food was amazing. Super friendly staff. They have a full bar, including a carafe of Prosecco, which was perfect for brunch. All-in you can't go wrong for this cafe for brunch. A must go place!

Sunrise Café is my family's favorite place to get brunch. You can get breakfast staples as well as fun and new breakfast items. Where do you want to drip coffee or fancy coffee latte cocktail, you can get it here. The kids menu is solid. This place keeps busy! Service is friendly and they do a good job of getting everything out pretty quickly despite it always being so busy in the mornings.

Quick friendly service. Joining the waitlist was a huge help to get seated quickly. The turkey avocado Benedict was really good. I'm not totally sure about the flavor of the potatoes but we would totally go back.

Absolutely fantastic meal! Chicken fried steak was actually battered and it was so good. The hashbrowns were also really good. I'll be coming back every time I'm back in Tulsa! Thank you!!

Hubby and I shared a blueberry pancake and the Okie omelette. Fabulous! The blueberries were plentiful. We use maple syrup and instead of the compote it was served with The omelette came with crispy hash browns and biscuits and gravy which were well seasoned. Crispy chopped bacon added a delicious mouth feel. Because we were curious, we ordered the chocolate gravy and biscuit. Topped with butter, it reminds me of a chocolate pudding pie, warmed up with the biscuit tasting like a traditional piecrust.

This is an amazing restaurant in the heart of South Tulsa. Open for breakfast and lunch daily. There is plenty of seating for any group size. The staff are amazing and very helpful some of the best I've seen lately. There's plenty of different food types to fit any picky eater. If you can't find something to eat here it's not going to happen. For the drinks, they have the standard coffee menu, the seasonal coffees, the fresh squeeze juices, and the homemade energy drinks along with the normal soft drinks. we went for breakfast one early Sunday morning and started off with an apple delight, which is an apple and pastry sweet dessert treat. I got the Okie omelette which comes with a side as I chose biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was very good, but the gravy seemed powder made. The Okie omelette comes with sausage, bacon and cheese then smothered with gravy along with a side of hashbrowns also smothered in gravy. You can't get better than this, especially if you live in Oklahoma. My wife got the Monterey bacado bowl which is bacon, avocado, egg, and Monterey Jack cheese with sour cream and salsa. This was also very good reminiscing of a California style meal. I also got the morning sunrise drink, which is orange juice, lemon juice, turmeric, ginger, agave nectar and beets. This place is amazing and I wish I would've known about it sooner. We will definitely be back.

From the quick wait list to the friendly staff and HUGE portions of food.....Sunrise Cafe is the place to be!! I've already planned my next 2 trips meals!!

Great breakfast/brunch spot with great friendly service. I have tried a few items here and have enjoyed them all. They have a few menu items similar to First Watch, if you are a fan of theirs. The inside has booths, tables and a bar. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito. Saved half for later. The fruit is was super fresh. Coffee flight was super fun. I did half regular coffee drinks and half boozie coffee drinks for $13.99.

Food was SOOO GOOD! Real ingredients! Ask for MADI as your waitress! She was the best. Restaurant was very clean! Will make a trip back.

Before I leave this review, I just like to say that I am extremely critical of diners and cafés. They're just really not my jam. However, my foodie friends love this place for brunch on the weekends and it is always packed. We occasionally have to wait to get a table but once we get it, the service is exceptional and they get the food right. I have probably ate here at least six times in every time the food is good but not exceptional to me. They have a huge menu with sandwiches omelettes healthy items and a ton of pancakes. The bar menu is very wide as well. I will say that it is a really nice clean, setting for a diner, and the bathrooms are always in good condition.

Sunrise Cafe has been opened since 2022, locally owned and operated. It's a really nice breakfast/brunch place that has not found its groove yet. I had the whole place to myself at 6:30 AM on a Monday morning. I have never felt so important. I don't understand why it's not too busy. The service is great and the food is good. I had the breakfast scramble which is scrambled eggs with ham and spinach on top of a croissant and covered with hollandaise sauce. Luckily, you have the option to replace the breakfast potatoes with hash browns because I don't like breakfast potatoes. I feel like adding mushrooms or tomatoes to the scrambled eggs would make it better because eggs, ham, cheese, and hollandaise sauce can be a little too much. I need some more vegetables to break up the overwhelming ingredients in this dish. I would recommend trying Sunrise Cafe otherwise it'll be Sunset Cafe. Hope it still has enough steam in the engine to keep it going.

We found Sunrise Cafe on Yelp! when looking for a breakfast spot on a Saturday morning. We came in at the tail end of the breakfast rush and had zero wait time. The ambiance is bright and clean and there were several TVs displaying local news and sports highlights. However, the staff is the star of the show. We decided to sit at the bar and received exemplary 5-star service from Ruth. She was responsive, kind, attentive and set the experience apart. The food was also incredible. The eggs were fluffy, the French toast was exquisite and we received an apple crisp dessert for being first time guests that made our toes curl! I highly recommend Sunrise and recommend asking for Ruth, but I'm confident any server would provide stellar service!

My family enjoyed this place. They were able to accommodate my party of 5 fairly quickly. It a family friendly place and seemed pretty popular after church cuz it was packed! When we discovered we wouldn't have enough time to actually sit and eat our waitress had no problem ordering all of our meals to go. When we offered to get up from the table she told us it was okay to sit there and wait until til our food arrived. Before our food arrived she gave us everything we would need for our meals. Plastic wear, syrup, Tabasco , ketches, etc. Our food came out what seemed to be fast and everything was accurate. I loved my crepe- I think it was the jack of all trades(bacon, tomato, spinach, jack cheese) , the seasoned potatoes were good. I loved the biscuit and gravy, especially since there was no up charge for sausage gravy. The meals included regular French toast, caramel French toast, cinnamon roll pancakes, and veggie scramble. Great stop while we were in Tulsa.

A coupon brought us to the Sunrise Cafe. We will be back. The coupon was good for a bacon, egg, meat, potato and biscuit breakfast for $6.99. They had a breakfast special on a chalkboard for the same price. The special included 2 eggs, Eggnog French toast , and meat. Dan got that. We both chose bacon for our meat. It was thick and very crispy. The server had her hands full. They were busy, but the server could handle it. She got our food to us promptly while still warm. The restaurant was clean and in good repair. It is a breakfast and lunch diner, not the the retro type that tries too hard to look a diner from the 60s and misses the mark. It's more like the type of diner we actually ate at in the 60s. It's just a cheery little cafe. They have a good lunch menu and drink menu.

I had a great lunch at this restaurant and would recommend when you are in the area to give these establishment a try, I was really impressed. The food is good and well priced, I had the Country Breakfast that is a biscuit halved with gravy on the top with two sausage patties, hash browns, and two eggs prepared anyway you like. For me it was eggs over easy that I enjoyed after the biscuit and gravy and of course the sausage patties. My server was Ashlea for this meal she even had a trainee with her as the two visited my table regularly during my meal. I enjoyed the banter from both ladies and I even learned a few things about this area that I didn't know. Both ladies were exactly what this customer needed, I dined alone and know that solo diners are often disliked by servers because the bill is lower. I appreciate the effort that was given to help this solo diner enjoy this restaurant. I found the ambience to be interesting, I haven't been in a brunch restaurant that served alcohol but everyone enjoyed the mimosas around me. Not at all to loud it was nice to be part of the atmosphere. Thanks for a fun lunch or brunch.

The 3 star rating is based on one dish. I had one of the breakfast bowls and it was average. Willing to try this place again and see if other options are better.

Had a good breakfast with friends! Handy location. It was busy! Our server was very friendly. Got scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy and coffee, I think this will be our new monthly meeting place with some of my south Tulsa friends.

Delicious and consistent. Great for breakfast or lunch 7 days a week. The menu options include diner breakfast classics, as well as crepes, sandwiches and tetrazzini. The service is always very good, and if you're open to sitting at the bar top, you can almost always be seated right away. If you're with a group on the weekend, expect a wait. The ambiance is typical casual diner style but always appears clean. Highly recommend!

Recently enjoyed a nice breakfast at Sunrise Cafe in south Tulsa. There was a short wait when we arrived, but we were seated within 10 minutes. The service was wonderful, and the menu had a variety of choices. I chose the Triple Bogey (eggs, meat, waffles or pancakes) while my husband had the breakfast burrito. The portions were large and everything was tasty! Additionally, we shared the drink flight, which allowed us to choose 4 of their beverages (mimosas, Bloody Mary, Ranch Water). Looking forward to a return visit soon!

We have a group of retired Air Medical crew members that eat out for breakfast each Saturday and Sunrise has become our favorite for the excellent food and service. Large selection of breakfast choices make this a great option in the many choices in Tulsa.

I used to come in when it was apple barrel and finally decided to stop by! I am very happy to say I truly enjoyed my time here! The bright environment was lovely. Walking in it smelt clean as well. Our table was clean as well prior to us being seated. Our server Imoni was fantastic! My wife and I will be back!

Get the biscuits as your side! They are buttery and flaky. Coffee could be better but we all loved our brunch.
