Sunrock Corfu

The location is unbelievable (but don’t be afraid of steep roads for access!) and the view breathtaking (while you are eating on the terrace…)! The beach is very close and there are some restaurants and bars. Madalena was cool with us: we arrived 1 day later than planned, due to a huge ferry delay, but she charged us only half a night for that missed day. Our room was large with sea view and had a fridge. Unfortunately there are no blinds or similar on the windows so it would get very hot in the room (in September) and you have to run the A/C all the time. The bathroom is small and the shower somehow « fancy »: the toilet is also behind the curtain and gets wet with each shower. There is no room service. The dinner (fish) was good. The prices of the cocktails, however, are rather high (see drinks menu on the website). The breakfast does not meet the description of the website (« fresh organic breakfast every morning from our farm »), unless you pay for it, and is rather basic. They accept credit cards but charge an extra 5%.

A peaceful, joyful place to stay with fantastic - and crucially friendly - hosts. This is a family business and the warm atmosphere was immediately welcoming! The location for me was fantastic; I rented a bike to get there as indeed it’s down a big hill. Perks of this: fantastic sunsets, beach is right next to you and the location is suitably hidden! If you’re on food then I can imagine it’s trickier - car parking is available but hard for lots of places, it’s often limited. My room (private twin) was basic but comfortable. Fridge in the room was handy for water and there was a fan for heat + mozzie help. Shared bathrooms were fine and cleaned often, two showers close by to my room. I had dinner here too which was genuinely delicious and homemade, also for a fair price. The space is not flash but was no-fuss and comfortable, that meant a lot more to me! The 4* is due to the rooms, they’re not as the pictures show - which makes sense, we all put our best foot forwards right - but I’d hoped for something a bit less basic perhaps. I’ll absolutely stay here again, also with friends if I return. Grateful to have had somewhere so gentle to rest up!

This hostel is in an utterly perfect location above the most beautiful beach in Corfu. The family that run it are warm and kind and the food available in the restaurant is delicious and good value. The rooms are clean. I went with my daughter and we stayed in a private room that had a beautiful view of the sea and a fridge and air con. We had a lovely time and didn't want to leave. There is a lovely young lady who works behind the bar at the hostel whose cheeky smile and the twinkle in her eyes made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside ;)

❤️d our stay at the Sunrock!!! Madalena & her family really go above and beyond. They are all very friendly! The hostel is right on a cliff with amazing views and access to multiple beaches and trails, and perfect for a relaxing stay-put kind of holiday. They serve really very tasty food. If you’re looking for a bustling town or night life I wouldn’t choose this area. Pelekas is also close and a sweet little town. We  - me and my daughter - had a great time and can't wait to come back one day 😍🙏

Breathtaking place to stay , to eat , to drink!!! The view is stunning, the food so fresh and full and wanted to try them all. It's wonderful to have a dinner watching that view . The service is great especially I'm very thankful to Madalena making my stay so nice !!!!!!!

There are no proper curtains in the rooms. The parking is small and lack of organisation. The breakfast is cold boiled eggs and bread... Cocktails are not worth trying. Enjoy the view and the good prices for the location.

What an incredible experience! Sunrock Corfu was the first stop of my solo trip and I cant imagine somewhere any more perfect, super sociable, breakfast included, the views are incredible, beach is crystal clear but most importantly the family that owns the hostel are just beyond lovely. The restaurant is also SO highly recommended was so delicious and I wish i ate there more. If possible i do recommend hiring a car as it helps with going up and down the hill. Support a small business and book at sunrock they are amazing! Thank you sunrock team i cant wait to be back.
