This is our second visit here, and it gets better with each visit. The atmosphere here is second to none, and you basically feel like you are with friends everywhere you go. It’s a fairly small resort as far as the number of people, and the experience day after day is wonderful. The food is excellent, the staff is so friendly and helpful, and everyone just lets you enjoy your time there. Shout out to Krystal and Jamey with concierge, Jason on the wait staff, and Shirlene at the pool bar as they are all truly amazing and made us sad to leave. Thank you Sunset at the Palms for another amazing vacation.

From start to finish it was all good. Book with them, you get Mobay to walk you through the lines, mitigate small issues, and assure you it's goin' to be alright. They include the transportation and it was safe and quick. The check-in is easy and painless. The rooms are just as they look online with cleaning done to perfection daily. The food is good starting with breakfast and including lunch on the beach. There is one restaurant and that's fine. Casual relaxation is the vibe. If you're thinking party, don't come. If you're a food snob don't come. If you expect shows and to be entertained, don't come. If you are looking to relax, kick back, and enjoy what God has created around you, you're in for a treat. It's Irie.

We had the best time at this resort. It was so peaceful and full of beautiful plants and animals. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and just a small walk across the street. The food was slightly repetitive, but still well prepared every time. The service is where this resort shines. The people who work here are genuine and kind. Kevan, the lifeguard was such a great help to us by making sure we had the best time. He was courteous, helpful, friendly and funny. Travis was another awesome employee we met. He worked security and always had a smile ready, and offered any information we needed to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were so pleasant, even though we bugged them so often. We had a wonderful time and are already dreaming of the day we return. This was our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you to the staff!!!

This lovely, quiet resort was exactly what we were looking for….small, good food, friendly staff, nice beach and, for us, entertainment.||The two unit “treehouses” are located on winding paths throughout the resort. There is a sense that an effort was made to provide a modicum of privacy, even if not 100%. The balconies overlook garden areas which are a quiet respite from other activities.||Are the rooms dated? A bit. But they are pretty much as advertised on the website. AC and WIFI was adequate for our needs. The beach is indeed across the street, but even for me, with a bad hip, it was a manageable walk with crossing guards ensuring a safe passage against the traffic.||Palapas are limited, but there is plenty of shade to chase if you are not interested in the sun. The water was beautifully clear. We were generally out from 8-12 a.m. , so really had no need of bar service. We brought bottles of water from our room which were promptly replenished.||Food was fine… no complaints from a picky eater. Breakfast buffet was plentiful…fruits, veggies, cheeses, pastries and a variety of egg preparations available with bacon and jerk sausage…French toast and waffles were readily available as well.||The two specialty restaurants are actually located in the same place- they switch off on various days. Lotus Leaf had a nice selection, but for the Chefs showcase, the menu is predetermined by the chefs. They did a really nice job accommodating people who had allergies on the spot… kudos for attention to this detail.||In the evenings we sat out for a bit at the martini bar - drinks were fine - we did not see real top shelf liquor available, but the drinks tended to be well made.||Paul, the piano player, is awesome. He was a wealth of information about some of the local legends, and shared stories about local events we never would have heard otherwise. We regret not sitting at the piano itself earlier… he is a great entertainer. Management… please tune the piano for him - he deserves a well tuned piano!!||The main disappointment for us was the condition of the gym. 10 of the 16 mirrors were broken and patched with duct tape. The free weights were unorganized and all over the place. I don’t know if it is not used by clients because of the neglect, or if it is neglected because it gets little use. There are three treadmills, a stationary bike and a recumbent bike ( which had a seat that would not stay locked in place). This could be a nice set up if it were attended to.||The spa services were nice…I would take Brenda home with me if I could!!!||In all, we had a great vacation…exactly what we were looking for. I hope you all are safe with the looming hurricane!!||I

The Perfect Experience. Ambience 10/10 Service 10/10 not a hotel. Staff makes you feel like Family, the other guest are extended family. shoutout to Ireland, Canada, Kentucky and North Carolina. The resort is so incredible, your staying in your own jungle paradise. The rooms give so much privacy and the A/C unit is a beast when its hitting 85 and 95% humidity. For being under the canopy Lynford keeps the grounds immaculate, not a fallen stick, palm branch, or leaf. The sounds of nature and the piano man are what ppl think of when they say "Take me back". Best Sunset and Best kept Secret.

If your vacation vision involves a lush, intimate escape without the flash and fanfare of massive resorts, Sunset at the Palms delivers in style. The rooms are so cozy! No concrete jungle. The low-key, adults‑only vibe is amazing. It’s extremely quiet and peaceful and there is no poolside techno music. Which was greatly appreciated. A crossing guard helps guests reach the private beach club which is a short walk across the street. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The staff on the beach also did a great job of keeping the peddlers away. Sunset at the Palms was a romantic, restful haven for us. We definitely preferred its serene Indo‑Caribbean charm over resort spectacle. It’s not the place for loud parties or all-night entertainment—but we valued its personalized service, delectable food, a swim‑up bar, and beachside bliss without crowds, you’ll love it. Ideal for: • Quiet, romantic getaways • Nature lovers and spagoers • Travelers who appreciate a cozy, boutique resort Not ideal for: • Party-seekers craving nightlife • Those wanting beachfront rooms • Guests seeking vibrant entertainment

What can I say about SATP? It was glorious with amazing, friendly staff. We were two couples traveling together for a relaxing week.||If you're looking for a party resort, this is not it. If you want to get pressured to join aquacise, poolside bingo, or volleyball, this is not the place. If you want a calm, relaxing resort, where you can go at your own pace surrounded by friendly staff who aim to please this IS your place. ||The rooms are not super modern but they are clean and well kept. It feels like a jungle getaway. The bed is so comfortable. Our room was kept clean and our fridge stocked with ice cold water, beer, and pop. ||There is no towel or beach chair drama. There was always plenty of clean towels at the beach and pool, and always a place to sit, regardless of the time of day.||The buffets are not huge, nor should they be because it's a smaller resort. The quality of everything in the buffet was great. For breakfast there is someone there to prepare eggs in whatever style you want. My husband loved the omelets. There is no lunch buffet, which may matter to some folks. I was happy to have a la carte for lunch to avoid overeating at a buffet. Whether at the beach or at the dining room, it was consistently delicious. |The a la carte restaurants were amazing. The food was top notch and I enjoyed it all. |Drinks were great, nothing was watered down at all.|The coffee bar is fantastic. Great drinks and you honestly can't beat the Blue Mountain coffee they serve.||Yes, like it says in other reviews, the beach is across the street. This was a non issue for us. In reality, it's still a shorter walk to the beach than at larger resorts!|The beach was lovely with flag service for lunch, and someone always greeted us to get us a spot and chairs in sun or shade, whatever we preferred.||I cannot wait to return to SATP.||I don't think I've ever acknowledged staff at a resort, but I have to shout out to the following staff:|Brittney is the friendly face that greeted us at the pool bar when we first arrived and were waiting for our room to be ready (we were there early). She made the BEST drinks and always called us by name. Our last night there she got us a second round without us even having to ask. Brittney is our girl.||Jason - cheese and rice!! - in the restaurants was so funny and attentive. He always took care of us and made sure we had whatever we wanted (and ladies first, of course!)||Shannon was our breakfast and lunch queen. The first morning we asked for coffee and mimosas and for the rest of the trip she remembered it each morning! She was so fast with beach lunch! I read other reviews saying they waited long for lunch on the beach but that was not at all our experience.||Irie the piano man. What a gem of a man. So engaging and talented. I could watch him play and sing for hours - you can tell he truly loves music and what he does. ||Finally, last but not least, Ericka kept our room immaculate.||Thank you to everyone at SATP. We will be back! Ya mon!

Stayed here from 20/10 to 3/11 and as all the reviews say this is a beautiful resort with the best group of staff you could wish for. Great rooms on stilts in a tropical garden with great food. This is a smaller low key resort and all the better for it unlike the concrete boxes across the road at the RUI. Beautiful beach with a beach club for drinks and food with a member of staff to guide you across the road. We unfortunately only had 5 good days here before Melissa started to make her presence felt and everything was wound down in preparation. A category 5 hurricane is one of the scariest things you can experience but I can't thank Donna the manager and her staff enough for providing a safe place to ride it out and keep us all fed and watered. It must have been unimaginable how they felt looking after us given the uncertainty regarding their loved ones. Once over the staff began clearing up straight away and I'm sure the hotel will be up and running in no time. I would also thank Donna for chasing up the TUI reps who completely forgot we were there when sorting out evacuation flights. If she had not of chased them down we might still be there.
