Sunset Beach

I came to this place with a very tense body and left feeling completely relaxed. 😌 All the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great value for money—I got the body scrub and aromatic massage. The therapist was excellent and clearly knew what she was doing. Amazing service!

I had a great time with my family. The rooms are spacious and the attached pool view balcony made it better. The room was comfortable, and we had good sleep every night. The hotel staff were friendly and the food was good. Having breakfast in the dining area that opened towards the sea view deck was the best part. Overall, a great place to stay for those who want a quiet zone, but within the close approximate of the eventful patong beach area.

I had a wonderful stay here—the pool was awesome, the rooms were super comfortable, and the location was perfect. In the evenings, the area comes alive with street vendors offering delicious chicken skewers and a variety of other street food right outside, making it easy to enjoy local flavors without going far. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a relaxing stay with the added bonus of great street food just steps away.

I recently stayed at the Sunset Beach Resort in Bukit with a group of nine friends, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best locations I've experienced! The resort is right in front of the beach, offering fresh air and stunning views. The rooms were cool and comfortable, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of accommodation. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Upon checking in, we encountered a temporary issue with the AC due to an electrical problem. While it was inconvenient for a few hours, the staff handled the situation with professionalism. They provided complimentary fresh juice and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. It’s reassuring to see such a humble and attentive team during hectic situations. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Sunset Beach Resort to anyone looking for a great getaway. Best of luck to the team, and thank you for the wonderful experience!

We were on vacation in Phuket, stayed at the hotel for 12 days. Excellent hotel, very quiet, comfortable. Clean bed linen every other day, excellent air conditioning, shower, bathroom. There is a refrigerator, safe. Very friendly staff. I would like to especially note an employee named Golf. Every day Golf ensured the cleanliness around the pool, gave out towels, ensured the cafe worked at breakfast, worked at the bar. A very hardworking and pleasant person! I recommend the management to promote him, as he was the face of the hotel. We will definitely come back to you again and will recommend you to friends. Thank you for a great vacation!

Great people, very friendly and helpful. Hotel situated centrally, close to Bangla road and beaches. Had an amazing time at the Hotel. The 2 bartenders/waters at the pool bar (Golf and Mslei were amazing and looked after us- always happy and efficient. Would recommend Sunset Beach resort without hesitation. Thanks for a great holiday!

Overall experience at Sunset Beach resort wasn’t great at all. Our room & entire floor constantly stunk of cigarettes, the air on for our room was pumping out smoke not air. The people at reception were lovely, however the food made both myself and my partner sick for days as most of it seemed leftover from the night before. The ad for this resort said it was on the beach, however you had to walk across a busy road to get to the beach and the beach opposite the resort was always covered in rubbish. We left over room for a couple of days and advised staff we would keep the room but be gone for a few days to stay on Phi Phi Island, we left our room in a great state and our sheets were fresh. We can back to our balcony door being left open, and blood on my pillow. Would not recommend staying here again.

Great location but really bad service. We walked in and sat down and waited for 10 minutes and the bartender was right there within 1 m of us the entire time. He never said a word to us looked at us a couple of times and never asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We got up and walked out. I've stayed in this hotel and remember the service being amazing and the view being awesome and the rooms being below average Now, the service is below average and the rooms are probably still the same and the view is still amazing.
