An exceptional experience from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning surroundings and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are luxurious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and privacy. What really sets this place apart is the service—warm, attentive, and consistently professional without ever feeling intrusive. Every interaction felt welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to ensure the stay was memorable. The food was excellent, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience was exactly what a resort stay should be: peaceful, indulgent, and refreshing. I would highly recommend this resort and would absolutely return.

I stayed in the studio room first few nights. The room is a bit old and ran down, especially the bathroom. There are renovation work on going so hope that after the renovations the room will be updated. Then I move to the sea view room. The room is much up to date. There are over hanging electric cable run along the road so the wires somehow block the great sea view. Location is good. It is about 2 km away from the busiest spot of Patong Beach Bangla street. There is hourly free shuttle bus fetching you to the Bangla Street but it is hard to catch the same shuttle bus back from town, so U have to use Grab or Bolt. The pool is very good and enjoyable. You can have a short walk to Kalim Beach for a good swim as the water is crystal clear. Sunset view is magnificent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall good value for money, suitable for family to enjoy a quiet place at Phuket while not too far away from the central excitement.

Had an amazing stay at Sunset Beach Resort. We booked a sea-view room and it was totally worth it — waking up to the sound of waves and the ocean right outside the balcony was unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, clean and very well maintained, with all amenities in place. The staff were extremely helpful and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a beautiful property with great rooms and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for a relaxing beach vacation! 🌅

The "service" here, if you can call it that, was easily the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. The room service is incredibly slow, but the delay isn't even the biggest issue; it’s the lack of honesty. On multiple occasions, I called down for basic items, was promised they would be up "in five minutes," and then… nothing. It feels like the staff tells you what you want to hear just to get off the phone, with no intention of actually delivering. I spent more time following up on simple requests than actually enjoying the room. It’s incredibly frustrating to be left waiting indefinitely for things that never arrive. Room Maintenance: Subpar Facilities The room itself looked decent at first glance, but the functional details were neglected. The bathtub was not maintained properly at all. Most frustratingly, there was a significant water sink issue (drainage problem) that turned a quick shower into a standing pool of water. For the price point they charge, you expect the basic plumbing and fixtures to be in top working order. It felt unhygienic and poorly managed. Dining: Average at Best Don't expect much from the in-house kitchen. The food is strictly average but entirely forgettable. Given the lackadaisical room service, you’re better off stepping outside. The hotel is situated in a great lane with plenty of fantastic local eateries. Save your money and your appetite; walk two minutes in either direction and you’ll find a much better meal for a better price. If you are looking for a place to simply crash for a few hours during a high-pressure business trip, this hotel might suffice. However, if you are looking for a relaxing getaway or value for your money, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. My recent stay was marred by systemic service failures and poor maintenance.

Had a great experience here. Came with my family, kids and seniors. The property is beautiful and well maintained and they also provide free shuttle every one hour to Bangla Street. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was incredible from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, with clean rooms, delicious food, and an unbeatable beachfront location. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the ocean. Also the Spa and Hair Salon staff were absolutely amazing! We chose this hotel because of it's beachfront location and proximity to the main area of Patong. We booked two rooms as we were travelling with our 3 grown up children. The rooms are an older style with dark timber and a traditional Thai feel so if you want brand new, sleek & modern, this hotel will not be your jam. Rooms are spacious with a balcony and the roomswe booked had both a bath tub and separate shower. The pool is lovely - exactly as pictured. There is also a bar poolside that you can order drinks from, however, the swim up bar was not open when we were staying. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast that is plentiful - eggs cooked to your liking, bread/toast, pastries, pancakes & french toast, fruit, yoghurt & cereals and Indian food options. I would recommend this hotel!

We stayed for 3 nights at this tired, worn facility. The aircon broke every day. My eldeely parents were trapped in the elevator when the power went out. The staff were distant, unwelcoming, unhelpful. They gathered in a nearby, unused room to freely talk to each other, but we didn't have a single interaction with them that we didn't initiate, and not one that left us feeling like anyone cared a whit about us. It was our most expensive stay in Thailand, and so not worth it.
