Sunset Beach

An exceptional experience from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning surroundings and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are luxurious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and privacy. What really sets this place apart is the service—warm, attentive, and consistently professional without ever feeling intrusive. Every interaction felt welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to ensure the stay was memorable. The food was excellent, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience was exactly what a resort stay should be: peaceful, indulgent, and refreshing. I would highly recommend this resort and would absolutely return.

Stayed from 27th December to 1st January. ||Very expensive for what we got but realise time of year played a part.||Stayed in first block. Room tired looking and given a room at back. Staff English not good despite being helpful. Maybe back block which I had based my selection on may be newer and felt deflated with what we got checking in||Toilet seat in room had brown tinge to it at back and needs replacing. Kept clean but forgot towels on a few occasions. ||Was asked if I wanted to cancel my cab despite never booking one as had my cousins car with us.|New year closed bar at 11. Lots of people had returned to watch fireworks at 12 from distance. No provision made as they had an expensive gala at their other hotel. Would have been nice to have paid for a couple of bar staff to cater for those who came back. ||It says 15 min walk to town but it’s not and need to pick up shuttle that is a bit random to get there. Probably 45 min walk to get to town - this has its good side as you are away from madness. (But has to be experienced).||Overall very underwhelmed with the Sunset Beach Resort.

I stayed in the studio room first few nights. The room is a bit old and ran down, especially the bathroom. There are renovation work on going so hope that after the renovations the room will be updated. Then I move to the sea view room. The room is much up to date. There are over hanging electric cable run along the road so the wires somehow block the great sea view. Location is good. It is about 2 km away from the busiest spot of Patong Beach Bangla street. There is hourly free shuttle bus fetching you to the Bangla Street but it is hard to catch the same shuttle bus back from town, so U have to use Grab or Bolt. The pool is very good and enjoyable. You can have a short walk to Kalim Beach for a good swim as the water is crystal clear. Sunset view is magnificent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall good value for money, suitable for family to enjoy a quiet place at Phuket while not too far away from the central excitement.

Resort is located 10-15 minutes walk to Patong. So it's not at the center of the hustle of patong market. The hotel is perfect. Breakfast has wide variety, even for vegetarians, room service is also very nice. The partial sea view rooms are just off the main road making it bit difficult to sleep with the road traffic. Water pressure on the room was not adequate. Other than these two small issues it's good to book for a trip.

We stayed at Sunset Beach resort for my daughter's 21st birthday. We were welcomed by Sarah and Aim at the front desk, with great smiles! The Porters assisted with our suitcases from the cab straight to our room. All the staff from front desk, porters, cleaners, dining hall and gardeners great guests with a smile! The rooms are clean, big and use the latest technology for switching on lights, plugs and aircon. The hotel is close to the Patong beach. Rachelle the Manager surprised my daughter with a birthday cake and decoration on the bed, appreciated so much.🙏 Thank you Team Sunset beach, keep up the good work!

Overall the experience was good. Hotel was away from Patong Main Street and Bangla road. The street is very crowded with vehicles and it take 30 minutes by car. By walking it hardly takes 20 minutes to Patong road.|Breakfast buffet has good options but all three days the buffet menu remained same and it didn’t changed much. All 3 days same 3 fruits were served - Pineapple, watermelon and papaya.|Juices options were orange guava and pineapple.|I loved the pool as it had different kids pool, adult pool and also a pool with jacuzzi.|Only this is that adult pool was very deep , i never experienced the same.|The in room dinning should also have some more vegetarian option.|There was an Indian restaurant very near the hotel - Amritsr which served yummy food. Aloo pyaaz kulcha was even better than in India.|The beach was right in front of the hotel and hardly takes 2 mins to see sunset. |I recommend this hotel to people who want a peaceful place away from the rush and traffic.

Had an amazing stay at Sunset Beach Resort. We booked a sea-view room and it was totally worth it — waking up to the sound of waves and the ocean right outside the balcony was unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, clean and very well maintained, with all amenities in place. The staff were extremely helpful and always ready to assist with a smile, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, a beautiful property with great rooms and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for a relaxing beach vacation! 🌅

Our stay was incredible from start to finish. The resort is beautifully maintained, with clean rooms, delicious food, and an unbeatable beachfront location. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the ocean. Also the Spa and Hair Salon staff were absolutely amazing!
