Leaving a negative review is never something I enjoy doing, but in this case, I feel it's necessary.
The only positive aspects of this Bed & Breakfast are the location — it's very close to the port of Vaitape, which is convenient — and the staff. The staff members were all extremely kind, warm, and always smiling, which I really appreciated.
However, there are too many issues with the room that cannot be overlooked. The property is located right next to a forest, yet the doors to the room are completely unsuitable for such an environment. They have large gaps at the bottom, which allow animals and insects to come in freely.
During my stay, I found mice, worms, insects, and lizards inside the room. I find it unacceptable that a hotel in a place like this would have such poorly fitted doors. They absolutely need to be replaced with properly sealed, airtight ones to prevent this from happening.
The bathroom was also far from adequate. The water pressure was weak, there was barely any hot water, and the shower drain was completely rusted — honestly, something I’ve never seen before in any accommodation.
If you’re still considering staying here, I strongly recommend requesting a room on the upper floor. You might have slightly better protection from the wildlife and fewer unwelcome visitors in your room.

This place could have potential thanks to its location and friendly staff, but it urgently needs serious improvements before I could ever recommend it to other travelers.
