Best view in Koh Phangan! the rooms are great and the staff is amazing!! super responsive and accommodating. This is the forth time I have stayed there in two years.The pool views are amazing!

The hotel is excellent! The rooms are luxurious, especially the rooms facing the sea on the top floor, very spacious. The service and staff are simply fantastic!! Kind and pleasant and you get everything you need right away. The highlight of this hotel is the Infinity, there is a shuttle service to the main road and 7/11. Highly recommend!!!

I recently spent two months at this wonderful hotel in Koh Phangan, and it was a perfect experience from start to finish. A special thank you to Rein, the manager, who is simply incredible. Right from the beginning, she made us feel like we were at home, and her warmth and care made all the difference. The entire team is amazing—from the reception to the housekeeping staff, everyone was so kind, professional, and attentive. The hotel itself is stunning and impeccably clean. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sunset Hill Resort. Everything about the experience was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, and we truly felt taken care of from the moment we arrived. A very special thank you to Mitzi, who made our stay exceptional. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, always ready to help with a genuine smile and great professionalism. Her warmth and dedication truly stood out and made a real difference throughout our stay. Great hotel! The rooms are big and clean. The pool is amazing, with a perfect sunset view. Even though the hotel offers shuttle service, I’d recommend renting a car or a scooter because of the hilltop location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They even called me to refund money after noticing I accidentally overpaid, special thanks to Didi at the front desk. Highly recommend this place. I really enjoyed my stay

The service is incredible! The view as well. Room was clean and spacious. One free coffee everyday and it was so good (real barista skills!). The restaurant had good and delicious food. Unfortunately they didn't had any yoga classes (we thought so from other reviews). You definitely need a scooter/bike to get around (the hill is very steep). They offer bike renting directly from the reception (we recommend the ADV version). Really liked it! Thank you!

The hotel is located in beautiful surroundings, high up with a stunning view and lovely nature around the resort. The beds were comfortable and on the firmer side, which we appreciated. The room had both a fan and air conditioning, which was a big plus. The staff deserve credit — we felt heard and well taken care of. They took our noise complaints seriously and treated us professionally. The location was also convenient, within walking distance to town, even though the hills were quite steep. Unfortunately, the room experience lowered the overall impression. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms. The balcony door was not sealed properly, so mosquitoes came in at night and bit us badly. Neighbors partying on their balconies kept us awake, and the hotel’s quiet-hour rules didn’t seem to be enforced. We also had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for two smoothie bowls even though we were the only guests there. When we went to ask about the delay because we were running late for plans, we found the staff standing on their phones chatting in the kitchen with no food being prepared. When the food finally arrived, one of the bowls was inedible and had to be sent back. This was especially disappointing because we had ordered the exact same dish two days earlier and it was fantastic then. In addition, loud music was played by the pool for much of the day, making it difficult to relax. Overall, the hotel has great potential thanks to its location and staff, but noise issues, room quality, and the restaurant experience unfortunately bring the rating down.
