Sunset Resort and Villas

We didn't stay at this property however we did pop in for breakfast and evening meals a couple of times. Fantastic food, good portions and variety and well priced. The staff were all super cheerful and friendly making for a lovely experience. Coffee at breakfast was top notch. The setting is great in what appears to be a newly constructed veranda overlooking the sea.

This is an absolutely wonderful resort. The owners Janette and Corey are fantastic hosts both friendly and caring. The staff are warm, respectful and always helpful. There is airconditioning i the rooms! The restaurant is in the most beautiful setting i have ever experienced right on the sea. The food is fresh and delicious. We stayed for 10 days and every single one of them was magical.

Good hotel, mostly refurbished after the 2024 hurricane so showers v good and all very clean. Beach is very dramatic at times, sound lovely but rough. Pool is safer. Only big let down is the very slow service in the restaurant, 90 minutes for dinner and an hour for first breakfast. It was better on Sunday, I'd gone off dinner by the time it arrived. Internet ok but the TV was a bit useless.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, no bugs apart from spiders. Low on mosquitos. Great views. I would recommend for sure. I stayed in the 2 bed villa and it has everything you need for a great stay. I have to remove about 4 spiders a day which is understandable as it surrounded by a few trees. But its perfect.

This hotel was amazing. We started our trip across the country staying here. We originally booked for 4/5 days but loved it so much we canceled our next stop to extend our stay here. They were very accommodating and figured out a way to let us remain in our room the extra days. There is so many positives it's hard to list them all. The staff amazing and friendly. The bar excellent service and cold refreshing drinks. The food was incredible, fresh, and well priced. We fell in love with our room Sunset Dream #1. The evenings on the huge porch with a storm rolling in were the best! The pool was clean and cool. Kory was friendly and helpful. This really was a home away from home. We are coming back again in Nov 2024 and will be staying here a week. I cannot wait!

The restaurant at this hotel is amazing! The curry lobster dish was one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had. I would highly recommend!

On this occasion we only ate. We have stayed here before Hurricane Beryl. I love the location. I want this place to do well. Saying that, the last couple of times eating here, it has been a poor experience. Some people's food was nice. No mosquito preventing measures in place, i.e., anti mosquito wick, etc. We were inundated. Food was very expensive for what it was. It's a shame. the location is perfect, but there is no willingness to make sure customers are served well. I hope you improve.

The hotel is good and the location is unique. The main issue with this hotel is the service. I stayed recently and was extorted by the hotel staff. I went on a business trip (paid by my employer) and I called the hotel prior to making my choice and enquired of the amenities. I asked specifically if breakfast was included with the room as a verification of what is stated online. The confirmed, breakfast was included with the stay. Reservation and payment was subsequently made and upon arrival and asked again, is breakfast included in the stay? They again confirmed, this was also confirmed by the server the following morning at breakfast. I spent two nights and upon check-out whilst I was about to leave, they ran to my vehicle for me to return to the lobby. Upon reaching the lobby, I was now being told I have to pay for the two days breakfast. I now being told that I have to pay because the booking was done by a company and also because I was done online. Their actions and behaviour clearly exerts extortionist. BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS HOTEL, THEY WILL ROB YOU.
