Sunshine Shack

This place is absolutely one of my favorite spots to eat in the Caribbean, outside of my homeland 🇯🇲. I stayed one extra day in Anguilla (pretty pricey) just to get the lobster 🦞. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is top-tier, and the owner, Garvey, is one of the nicest and most humble people you’ll ever meet. His staff know how to have fun, and the atmosphere is perfectly beachy with the most beautiful beach and view you’ll ever see.

One of my favorite places that I visited on this island!! The food was to die for. The calamari was the best I’ve ever had and the ribs, chicken, rice and peas were sooooo good! The bbq sauce is homemade and even got some to take home. Vibes were great the music was loud but it’s what made the vibe great! The beach was also beautiful. Service was great! And drinks were even better. The food does take a while to make but it’s because Garvey himself smokes it all and it’s sooo worth the wait!

Best meal in Anguilla, no questions asked. No matter what you get, you can’t go wrong, but highly recommend the grilled fish of the day and grilled lobster. BBQ sauce is out this world. Everything is super fresh, cocktails are great, and the setting is unbeatable. Super chill, friendly vibes. The staff here is incredible - warm, inviting, friendly, prideful. They seem to really love what they do and that kind of passion shines through. A trip to Anguilla wouldn’t be complete without a stop here at least once.

I never leave reviews but cannot believe how badly we were just ripped off! Four vegetable skewers and a plate of fries shared between us just got us presented with a $160 bill!! For what possibly? Unfortunately leaving feeling completely taken advantage of and it took 45+ mins to even prepare!! Food was mid-poor also. Would just avoid completely unfortunately. Shouldn’t be leaving any establishment feeling ripped off

Food was good but it took so long both times we ordered, we needed more options. Bring snacks. Ribs were good. 👍🏼 Chicken was good. 👍🏼 Loved Rendezvous beach! It rained the second time we went, which made it more memorable because of the beautiful double rainbow 🌈 #Ribs, #Sunshineshack, #beaches

Cute beach bar at Rendezvous Bay. The setting is quintessential beach bar vibes. We ordered some chicken and ribs, which unfortunately took over an hour and other guests that arrived much later than us were served first. However, the ribs are the best I had my entire time on the island. I get island time, but it was even a little much for that. Still, if you’re over that way it’s worth a stop.

We had a really nice time here. It was a fun place to spend the day. The beach is lovely, the food is good, and the drinks are strong. The staff is super friendly. We even met Garvey while we were shopping for necklaces with Beverly and he bought us all one (see pic below)! Super nice. They have chairs and umbrellas for patrons to use which is awesome. Get there early around 10-11 and put your order in for lunch. Enjoy the beach and then when the food is ready it won’t seem like you waited. It’s all made there so it’s not necessarily fast food

Nice place to relax at the beach and grab some food/drinks. They have beach lounge chairs available on beach. I got the baileys banana colada So GOOD. Food also very good! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They did let us know they have live music on Friday and sat.
