SunSquare Cape Town City Bowl

We stayed at the sunsquare hotel for five nights in total, Four nights to explore the wonderful city of Cape town and a further single night after returning from a kruger safari.|The whole experience was excellent, from check in to check out.Our room was located on the top 12th floor as requested at the time of booking and provided fantastic views across the city to the V&A. The room was very clean and modern, with everything you would expect to find in a quality hotel. The hotel has a great roof top bar which again has fantastic views including table mountain. The swimming pool is also located on the top floor.|We stayed B & B and the breakfast was very good, with an excellent selection of drinks, cold and hot food. The omelettes were very good and when requested the poached eggs were great.|The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and polite and made our first stay in the beautiful city so easy.|The position of the hotel is a quick 5 mins uber drive to the time out market and V&A waterfront. 12 mins to Camps bay and a 2 min walk to Bo-kaap.|This hotel offers a great option to stay when visiting the wonderful city.|Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

The rooms were wonderful. The shower had a leak so water would flood the bathroom floor whenever I shower but apart from that the rooms are very modern and clean. I did report that issue so hopefully they fix it. The food from the restaurant was excellent however no room service, you had to go down and order your takeaway. The elevators were a problem, you will wait forever for an elevator, very frustrating. The best takeaway for me was the linen, gosh I felt like a princess, beautiful soft linen.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful view of table mountain. That's what I woke up and fell asleep to. The staff are very helpful and kind. Yummy food. A bar on the premises, serving overpriced cocktails. Heated pool! Nice! Unfortunately, I definitely wouldn't recommend winter stays because the rooms get cold and the heaters in the rooms are REALLY noisy. They produce more noise than heat.

The SunSquare was a great place to spend the week in Capetown! It is a beautiful hotel, it is conveniently situated within the City Bowl and a short walking distance to V&A Waterfront and the harbor. The staff was great and very helpful when asking for their assistance. My room was wonderful, I was given a room with a great view of Bo-Kaap. The breakfast buffet had wide array of great tasting food and the service was relatively fast.The hotel has a rooftop a pool as well a bar (14Stories) with outside seating and incredible views of the harbor and Table Mountain. The food and beverage prices were quite affordable. There are also gym facilities available for the hotel guests. The hotel also has excellent conference facilities that are able to accommodate a large number of guests. Overall I had wonderful stay here.

Clean, pleasant, comfortable modern hotel with helpful staff. Great views over the colourful Bo Kaap district and up to Table Mountain. Excellent sound-proofing and rooms a good temperature.

It is the perfect location and really well priced. Breakfast is delicious and the bar on 14th floor is awesome for an sundowner or late drink. The pool also on the 14th floor is heated and indoors.

Great hotel in the heart of the city. Great bar on the rooftop. Awesome views of Table Mountain & Lions Head. Great restaurants and eateries in the region. Also a great restaurant on the premisis called Vigour & Verve. Their Butter Chicken is a must try dish.

Location- centrally located with view of table mountain on one side of the hotel. Supermarket like pick and pay within 5 to 7 minutes, walking distance, also, KFC and McDonald’s within five minutes, walking distance.||Breakfast, so very good spread with live counter for eggs, besides that there is sausage, ham, fruit, cereals, croissant muffins, fresh juice, tea, coffee, toast, bread, and yoghurt, just to name a few ||Rooms are average in size, they are neither big nor too small. The rooms had a working desk and there was view of the table mountain from our room||Service- can be better, unfortunately, there is no service if bell boy who can carry your luggage and help you with it||Disappointment-we had visited the hotel as a couple, but were shocked to be given a room with two single beds. after requesting we were accommodated, but ideally such a mistake should never happen. The drain in the shower area was clogged and it had to be brought to their attention, unfortunately, even after such blunders, the Hotel did not have any gesture to make us feel that they were sorry for the entire incident .
