The location of this hotel is amazing with a panoramic view of table mountain, Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Greenpoint and VNA Waterfront. The deluxe room was amazing, really tidy, and spacious. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and we recieved numerous complimentary gifts from management as it was our honeymoon stay. Breakfast was a great variety of devine foods. And the hotel's location made it easy to get in and out onto the arterial routes. We were also able to walk to some great restaurants in the evening. A definite recommend. Hope to go back soon.

We stayed here in December and what a lovely hotel. We had a room on the 11th floor with the most beautiful views — truly something special to wake up to. The location is great!! Our room was a stunning executive suite and honestly, there was nothing I could fault. Everything was comfortable, well thought out, and beautifully done. Breakfast was also pretty damn good, with a great variety on offer — best bacon and best omelette! The hotel is home to one of Cape Town’s vibey rooftop bars, 14 Stories, located just off the pool area. Because of this, the pool can feel a little busier in the late afternoon and evenings, so if you’re after a quiet swim, daytime is best. That said, 14 Stories is absolutely the place to be for sunset cocktails — the atmosphere and views are unbeatable.

This hotel is very well priced and great value for money. Very modern and comfortable rooms although slightly cramped. Lovely linen and towels and very clean. Great views of the ocean and mountain. Lovely indoor rooftop pool and bar. Centrally located in the city center close to waterfront.

The hotel has a nice feel to it. Modern finishes and rooms are neat and tidy. Kids loved iy but for late night snacking they had to go far to get a vending machine for this. For first timers coming to the hotel the parking entry could be a little confusing because there is no front entrance parking. All in all a very nice place to stay, magnificent view and stunninh bar and pool.

The place was fully booked on the day that I went. Which resulted in poor service at the restaurant. Rooms were clean, neat and comfortable, however, the shower I used (room 1005) had poor drainage system. The water would build up. I didn’t make a fuss about it as I was there for one night, but would have affected me if I was there for longer. I would go there again. Beautiful views from the room.

Sadly the hotel has somebody with a key (housekeeper?) with sticky fingers. My prescription Maui Jim sunglasses were taken from my room on the morning of Dec 31, 2025. In addition somebody else travelling in the group had his Serengeti sunglasses case taken from his room but fortunately for him his glasses weren’t in it. This is just completely unacceptable and hotel management needs to get to the bottom of who is taking things so brazenly. With the exception of my missing sunglasses, which is a serious problem, the hotel was in a great location, staff were pleasant, rooms, including bathrooms, were very nice.

We stayed at the sunsquare hotel for five nights in total, Four nights to explore the wonderful city of Cape town and a further single night after returning from a kruger safari.|The whole experience was excellent, from check in to check out.Our room was located on the top 12th floor as requested at the time of booking and provided fantastic views across the city to the V&A. The room was very clean and modern, with everything you would expect to find in a quality hotel. The hotel has a great roof top bar which again has fantastic views including table mountain. The swimming pool is also located on the top floor.|We stayed B & B and the breakfast was very good, with an excellent selection of drinks, cold and hot food. The omelettes were very good and when requested the poached eggs were great.|The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and polite and made our first stay in the beautiful city so easy.|The position of the hotel is a quick 5 mins uber drive to the time out market and V&A waterfront. 12 mins to Camps bay and a 2 min walk to Bo-kaap.|This hotel offers a great option to stay when visiting the wonderful city.|Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

The locatuon of the hotel is the key. Rooms are also nice but can be better with adding some comfortable office chair. The only drawback os service. Even for water need to ask every day every time. They should put at least wtaer everyday without asking. Rest stay was good and staff was generous otherwise.
