Location- centrally located with view of table mountain on one side of the hotel. Supermarket like pick and pay within 5 to 7 minutes, walking distance, also, KFC and McDonald’s within five minutes, walking distance.||Breakfast, so very good spread with live counter for eggs, besides that there is sausage, ham, fruit, cereals, croissant muffins, fresh juice, tea, coffee, toast, bread, and yoghurt, just to name a few ||Rooms are average in size, they are neither big nor too small. The rooms had a working desk and there was view of the table mountain from our room||Service- can be better, unfortunately, there is no service if bell boy who can carry your luggage and help you with it||Disappointment-we had visited the hotel as a couple, but were shocked to be given a room with two single beds. after requesting we were accommodated, but ideally such a mistake should never happen. The drain in the shower area was clogged and it had to be brought to their attention, unfortunately, even after such blunders, the Hotel did not have any gesture to make us feel that they were sorry for the entire incident .

I was very satisfied with my room. I had a nice view on a higher floor. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the decor of the room was really pleasing. The room had a small refrigerator in it which was nice. The hotel's breakfast was excellent! There is a large buffet and you can get eggs to order.

The SunSquare was a great place to spend our five nights in Capetown! It is a beautiful hotel, in a great location - in City Bowl and walking distance to V&A - and the staff was great. The room was wonderful and even had a view of Bo-Kaap. The full breakfast has everything and was tasty though it was a bit slow at times given some big crowds. The rooftop had a pool and also bar with outside seating and incredible views of the harbor and also Table Mountain. The hotel was very helpful arranging airport transfer. Really wonderful hotel and very reasonable.

The hotel was the last place we stayed in South Africa. It was clean but the bed we had was tiny for two people. The front desk insisted I come down ( 9 pm I was already in pajamas ready to go to sleep) to settle charges to the room - I was surprised and found this a bit rude as I would never think of not paying my room charge on check out. The food was average quality. Service was slow but friendly other than the reception on our last night. I felt a little disrespected so I don’t plan to visit this hotel again.

The hotel is super by all means, rooms are clean, modern and price is great. The only comment I have releated to staff especially in the reception, I had very negative experience with the check-in process with no basis of hospitality and no information were provided to me as guest like facilities I can use, breakfast.... Etc.

Nice clean base to explore the city. Only negatives are the bedhead leatherette was torn in parts, the sheets come out when the covers are pulled down, and the shower water spills onto the bathroom floor — we needed to use a towel along with the floor mat to dry up puddles. The buffet breakfast is decent if you like the standard bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, bacon and sausage.

The stay at the SunSquare hotel was nice but unfortunately can only give it 3 stars due to the staff. Most of my encounters with staff were fine. However on the last day, I paid to extend my hotel room until 6pm, because I had a late flight back to the UK. |At aprox 1pm, I had the room cleaner try to get in without knocking (so the information hadn’t been passed on to them about my late check out). This woke me up, as I was resting before my international flight home. Not really acceptable. |When I checked out, I explained about my disappointment, and they basically said “oh well”. Not the excellent customer service I would have expected. |Hotel in an okay location, and views of table mountain. Breakfast was okay, some of the hot breakfast items were cold.

Lovely room and great view from rooftop bar, convenient location. Expensive, I paid 85 rand for a can of coke at the bar, that's a first! Also very disappointing that they do not have room service, I was sick and ordered from the restaurant downstairs a few times but had to come down to a very busy main area to collect my food from the restaurant. I travel alot for work and prefer to eat in my room after a long day.
