The SunSquare was a great place to spend our five nights in Capetown! It is a beautiful hotel, in a great location - in City Bowl and walking distance to V&A - and the staff was great. The room was wonderful and even had a view of Bo-Kaap. The full breakfast has everything and was tasty though it was a bit slow at times given some big crowds. The rooftop had a pool and also bar with outside seating and incredible views of the harbor and also Table Mountain. The hotel was very helpful arranging airport transfer. Really wonderful hotel and very reasonable.

My stay was really enjoyable! The view from my bed room was beautiful. The location was great, in the cbd, close waterkaant, V&A waterfront and some bars nearby. The bar at the rooftop was also pretty beautiful, live music was played, the pool is also cute, the gym was pretty empty and spacious. The front desk people were also pretty nice and helpful. Would recommend.

One of the best hotels to stay at in Cape Town. Located just a few kilometers from the waterfront. The room was compact but comfortable, with basic amenities provided, and proper hygiene was maintained. Lunch and dinner were delicious. The restaurant staff was super friendly, with special credit to the chef. There are decent vegetarian meal options as well. The only drawback was having to walk along the main road to reach the hotel’s main restaurant, which is located at the back of the property. Breakfast was arranged in the in-house restaurant and was decent. The rooftop view was breathtaking.

Loved this hotel, from the time we got there the staff was friendly , rooms are kept clean at all times , service was just quick if we needed something from room service ! The breakfast buffet was also great! Will definitely go again! Beautiful view of the city as well.

I LOVED STAYING HERE! The service is what I valued the most..The rooms are very spacious and aesthetic I just wish the showers didn't have such leveling...like it's only a hand shower and after cleaning they wouldn't place it right But the breakfast was great The views magnificent Very nice location if you're a tourist in Capetown I wish I remembered the guy from the reception He was so helpful...I checked in on 11 November around 2 AM I stayed there for 4 days what a lovely stay

I’m not a fan of hotels that have dry walls. You can literally hear everything that’s happening from the next room. In the morning your still sleeping and house keeping are cleaning the other rooms, when they bang the door, you room will definitely shake. Also I’m 2 meters tall and feel clustered walking on the passage. Few space left between my head and the ceiling. Roof top bar has nice view although it took 2 hours to get the food and 2 hours to my whiskey sour because they said they ran out of whiskey glass, even if it was half empty. I’m wondering if they only had 4 whiskey glasses..

Had breakfast here on the 2nd February. The options were decent good variety bacon was abit bland/tasteless but enjoyed the rest and great service. Would have loved to enjoy the rooftop bar but they only opened at lunchtime, next time.

I stayed for one and half days. The rooms were outdated, cold water running and no hot water. Air conditioning was bad. The maintainence guy came fast and did the fixing. The breakfast waiters took away my plates when I went to grab some food from the counter. The front desk girls were lacking understanding of English. Overall satisfying experience.
