SUNSURI PHUKET

My wife and I spent a wonderful vacation at this hotel in Phuket, and once again we were absolutely delighted with our stay. This was our second time staying at this hotel, which already says a lot. From the very first days, we felt genuine care for the guests, attentive service, and a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel grounds are well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall experience allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our time together. We would like to express our special and sincere thanks to the Key Recreation Supervisor and the entire sports team. They do an amazing job every day, always making an effort to entertain the guests through various sports games and activities. Their energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude create a great atmosphere and bring so many positive emotions. Thanks to them, our vacation became even more active, fun, and memorable. Thank you to the entire hotel team for the excellent service and unforgettable experience. We will be happy to return again and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

I had an amazing time at Sunsuri Phuket, I came with my family and was blown away by the service and hospitality at this hotel. I've never had a holiday where I was so happy and entertained at the hotel. The recreational team led by Kaey were exceptional, they got everyone involved and laughing at aerobics or volleyball or muay thai boxing displays. Every single staff member I met was kind and helpful and looking to make our stay extra special for us. Thank you to Ploy and Bam at the pool bar who gave us a lot of time and smiles. The food I had was exceptional, at the Sip bar or Sail restaurant or at the pool bar. We had a massage at the spa with Som and Atom which was amazing! My bf doesn't usually like massages but he loved this one. And our room was beautiful! We had a view over the pool and it was peaceful, luxurious and clean.|It was easy to explore beyond the hotel with a shuttle to the beach and a helpful tour and taxi team at reception.|I would thoroughly recommend Sunsuri for couples, solo travellers and families. They cater for everyone and make every aspect of your stay special. We were lucky to be here for Christmas and part of the festivities in the hotel as well as see some fantastic places around Phuket. Thank you to the staff for our stay!

We had a very nice and quiet stay and Sunsuri. The breakfast is really nice, you have a great variety. The rooms are good, even though the furniture seems a bit old, but nevertheless for us it was a nice. The pools are nice, you have activities that you can take part in, such as volleyball, aqua gym, etc. My husband is super, super thankful to Keay from the Sports Team, who was really great with us, and a great tennis table partner and player. Hats off to him! Thank you from our hearts, you made our stay more energic and enjoyable!

Beautiful location, great hotel and facilities. Our two children hardly wanted to leave the pool. They had a wonderful time on the slide and diving platform. Pool volleyball and aqua aerobics kept everyone entertained and the sport staff are delightfully fun for all ages. Abundant, delicious food and drinks. Gorgeous, friendly, welcoming staff. Our youngest loved his private Muay Thai Boxing lesson with Mang. Such a lovely experience for us all. Don’t underestimate the number of stairs around the resort or the firmness of the beds! On request, they’ll happily pick you up in the cart/bus if you have mobility issues or concerns about the stairs.

Currently staying at the Sunsuri Phuket with my husband and 10 year old son, upon arrival on 24th December we were warmly greeted by the reception staff and handed ice lollies and cold towels. We asked if our room could be made available earlier as we had a long flight from the UK and the staff made the room available a few hours earlier which was much needed after a long flight from the UK. ||When we got into our room I called reception and asked for more coat hangers and these were brought to our room within 5 minute! Also ordered room service which again was with us in 15 minutes! Air con is also nice and cold! ||Staff at this hotel are the biggest beauty of it, especially the entertainment team who are funny and kind! But to be honest every member of staff is kind and helpful! Service is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble! ||Christmas Eve gala dinner was lovely and even had a trip from Santa and some lovely live music! ||Whilst here we celebrated my husbands birthday and were left a lovely display on our bed by room service and a birthday cake which was a nice touch. This isn’t a large hotel but has all you need! Beach is a short walk away but the hotel also provide shuttle bus there and back. ||Location is ok, short walk to shops and bars but not near enough to be noisy. Most places are a 20 minute cab journey if you want to visit other beaches like kata beach, Patong etc. ||Having stayed at a lot of hotels over the years I would say sunsuri isn’t the best aesthetically but we are happy enough and the people and staff are what make it great! It has a very chilled vibe and no fighting for sun loungers etc!||All in all, we are having a lovely time and have no complaints! ||Mr and Mrs Morgan

What a great place. Staff can't do enough for you. The animation team with Keay the supervisor where so good. Keay helped both my friend and myself. Making sure we were happy. Pluem helped my friend who had hurt herself with the steps to the toilet and waited to help her down again. The spa massages were amazing. Only thing I could say is if for two weeks stay rotate the set menu and the clothes shop change that to a little store to buy water and soft drinks. The staff in the restaurant so polite. From the manager to the cleaners. We both agreed we have never been treated so kind and courteous as this hotel.

I'll just start off by saying that I suspect some of the other Google reviews are fake/paid for, especially the ones with stock photos. There are some good and some bad points to this hotel. Starting off with the good; the pool facility was excellent although could have done with heating, the rooms were of a nice size and I found most of the staff quite helpful and polite. The bad however is not to be overlooked. Firstly - the location, the views are poor with major construction going on nearby you only get a view of the main building and dirt. The room whilst spacious left a lot to be desired and although basic amenities were present it was quite outdated and poorly decorated. Glaring issues with the room involved a lack of an iron, ironing board, a kettle that was dangerous in that the plastic handle would be extremely hot and an easy burn risk. Breakfast had a noticeable lack of variety and fresh options. The television wasn't a smart TV which won't bother some people, but for a hotel of this supposed character and esteem the small details matter. Perhaps the most annoying thing was the entry to our room! The card barely worked and we needed to get it replaced, not only this but it took several attempts every single time for the door to open, not ideal. All in all, do your research before booking! It can serve a basic hotel need but not on the level of a resort you can spend ample time in.

This hotel is very clean and the staff are incredibly lovely! The breakfast is plentiful and changes every day, which I really enjoyed. The property is located on a gentle hillside, so walking around can be a bit of a workout, but there’s a 24-hour shuttle service that can take you directly to your room. The area around the hotel is great for running or jogging. It’s also close to Nai Harn Beach, Ya Nui Beach, and Promthep Cape. For Thai travelers, it’s easy to rent a motorbike nearby, and there are plenty of local food stalls, affordable restaurants, and even laundry shops around — very convenient! I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you!
