Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Sumner

Came in yesterday evening, July 23, and was very pleased from the moment we walked in! Very clean and very nice! It’s always nerve wrecking, not knowing what the rooms look like after you pay for the room. So I’ve been disappointed before! But not this time! From the beds to the bathroom, everything was very clean! Thank you!

Our family in Ft. Sumner had a gathering for Mom. We stayed at Super 8 as we usually do. Room was great, we slept well, and bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was good with fresh waffles, fruit, yogurt, mini-burritos, bagel and cream cheese, honey buns, coffee and juice to choose from.

The bed was the most comfortable. Most of all the Check in staff were so pleasant and kind to me an my dog.|The town of Fort Sumner is very peaceful. |Would stay again

This is a beautiful area. We arrived really late, and they were quick to get us a room so we can rest after a long drive. The front desk guy was very friendly, even after it was 2am. The room was clean and tidy. Thank you

The rooms were clean and the day staff were very pleasant, However the two ladies on the evening staff acted like it was an imposition to check us in. No hello, no welcome to our town or business just very off putting, especially this younger one wearing a black n95 mask. This would have been a 5 starring otherwise.

Amazing stay. Clean. Soft pillows and great bed. Easy to park. Right off the highway.

It was easy to find and check in was easy. The room was nice and modern. The beds were really comfy and we slept great. Breakfast was small but there were enough options that we were full. The staff were very friendly.

We have stayed here twice and it's the best place to stay in Fort Sumner, NM. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The carpet is new and clean. The rooms are large. TV and internet worked great. Quick breakfast was perfect. They offered juice, coffee, great Belgian waffle machine, whole fruit, donuts and cereal.

The owner and his team of employees are great. I stay in Fort Sumner often for work and I gotta say this place is great. The rooms are fairly up to date and modern. And it's quiet and peaceful. Great place and great people.

There isnt much around and they know it! Not the cleanliest place for sure and up keep is left off the to do list. No frills at all no breakfast no matter what they say. Management runs this business with the idea of what's the least we can provide and still call this a hotel. With that said it's a good place to get some sleep just over priced for what you get.

Was right off the road so very easy to get to. Outside was clean. Front desk was quick and got me checked in quickly. Everything outside and inside was clean and in working order. Room was was clean and comfortable. Bed was nice and slept well. Could hear the people walking around on the floor above the next morning, but was time to get up anyways. Pricing was quite reasonable. Would stay at again when I am in the area next time.

Thank goodness for this hotel. We were traveling home to Texas from a long road trip through Colorado when we got Albuquerque.. we had no idea the week of spring break Albuquerque would not have one vacant room or in the outskirts of it.. it was hell to say the least. We lost hope and drive out to the border instead. My husband came upon this super 8 , and the front desk gentleman was very friendly and accommodating. At 3am we were so happy to get a room to sleep for a few hours. For the price it was well worth the stay. The beds were super comfy. The breakfast included waffles and cereal, juices and coffee. Which was a lot more than what I got a previous more upscale hotel . Over all our stay was great. If we had to come again, I would stay here. And it's right off the highway!

For the money you can't beat it, there were I my two other guests last night, It is a clean location, you get wifi, but coverage was not the greatest. The bathroom was clean plenty of soap and shampoo but you only get two towels, they are cleaned in bleach so very rough, if you have sensitive skin beware. The free breakfast is donuts and yogurt, this is the 19 and the date on the yogurt was the 11th. The coffee pot doesn't appear to ever get cleaned out in our room so another beware. Now with the negatives I still have to look at their price and we couldn't beat it It was very quiet and clean!

As a person with a knee injury/disability, I was initially very turned off by the lack of elevators at this location. If you can't do stairs, do not stay here. Rooms were clean and comfortable enough. Bathroom was somewhat cramped, which made getting in and out a struggle. This is an ideal spot if you just need a place to sleep and nothing more. Our room had no fridge or microwave, and everything in the area closes pretty early. Plan ahead if you need a warm meal.

The building was clean, the beds are clean and comfortable enough. The way they had the room petitioned off between bedroom and sitting area was awkward. The breakfast is the same as not having breakfast. You can have a packaged roll or a waffle. Water down juice and coffee. The desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. She helped make this day better. When you get into these small towns, you really should not expect as much from your hotel as you have in the larger areas.

Our room was nasty, dusty and the stains on the couch made me not want to sit there.

This has to be the best Super 8 motel I've stayed at. This one is nice and good priced. The staff is very nice and available when you need them. This one is also close to the Billy the Kid grave and museum.

I was so pleasantly surprised with this Super 8. The room was huge and really nice, the bed was great, and it was all spotlessly clean. It was quiet. We slept in a bit, and judging by the empty parking lot in the morning, everyone else had left and we hadn't heard anything at all. The price was right, too. This one was waaaay nicer (and cheaper and quieter) than the Super 8 where we had stayed the night before in Flagstaff. I'd go back for sure.

The reason for 4 stars is b cuz this is the best super 8 I've stayed at. Clean rms, comfortable king bed and nice staff. Simple breakfast bar, cereal, juice, toast, yogurt.

This is the nicest hotel in Ft. Sumner. Our family stayed here two nights for a family reunion. It delivers just what you would expect from a Super 8 and more. Clean room, free wifi, nice breakfast, a super friendly couple that owns and manages it. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Ft. Sumner.

It's a clean place to sleep. I didn't see any signs of bedbugs. Wifi can get slow in the evenings. Would stay again.
