Super 8 by Wyndham St Johns

I recently completed a one-year lease for a bachelor and I must say, it was the perfect choice for someone relocating to the city without any hassle. The entire experience was outstanding, and the staff was very kind and welcoming from day one. The security measures in place made me feel safe and at ease throughout my stay, allowing me to focus on settling into my new surroundings. The unit itself was well-furnished and equipped with everything I needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. I am genuinely grateful for the wonderful experience and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient, secure, and comfortable accommodation during their stay in the city.

Had a great 1 night stay with the grandkids. They loved the water slide and the pool. Although the pool was a little on the cooler side and the hot tub/spa was not working. Had a little trouble with the key cards but the night manager was super helpful and friendly. We would stay here again and recommend. Hopefully they fix the minor issues in a timely manner.

Stayed here four 4 nights and was exactly what I expected. He room was clean and comfortable. It could use a bit of sprucing up, but I was not there much, so perfect to come back to for a nights rest. The breakfast was adequate to start the day, with friendly and helpful staff. Pool was clean and refreshing, unfortunately due to renovaions on the 2 upper floors, the whirlpool was closed. Will certainly consider another stay.

Rooms were nice and clean and all employees were kind and respectful. The pool area was clean and a great pleasure for the kids. The water slide is a lot of fun! The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The free breakfast is higher quality than most hotels, offering pancakes.

The hotel is in a pretty good location. The room walls had what was most likely just beer splashed on them, but it still sparkled in the sun light. The blanket on the bed was dirty. Bed was not great, foldout couch bed matress should just be thrown out rather that assault another sleeper with old-school springs jamming at all angles. Breakfast was lacking service and even after we got staff to tend to it, they still served cold boiled eggs. At least the coffee was good.

It's a very nice hotel to take kids. My two children and I have this annual tradition to spend one night at this hotel. It's mostly because of the pool and water slide. We weren't lucky enough to stay on the same floor as the pool this year but it didn't take away too much from the stay. The continental breakfast is very nice. The service is really good too. The staff seems super friendly. The rooms are clean. What more can you ask for? We will be back next year.

Received outstanding customer service from Jay, the night shift front desk attendant. Was very accommodating to our family and request regarding our 7 months baby. He has a friendly, positive attitude and great sense of humour. Wish more hotel front desk staffs could be like him. The rooms are great and at an affordable rate. The automatic pancake machine for the breakfast is awesome.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room definitely did not sleep 5 as advertised. Maybe three, but the pullout couch was super uncomfortable. Some of the lights and outlets in the room did not work as well. The main bed was quite nice however.
