Super Food Plaza

I love fruits and go here a few times to buy the food and fruits. This place has a lot of food selections. Check out was easy with US dollars but you do get florin back as change.

Amazing selection of international (including lots of Dutch products.) We found so many yummy meats and cheeses that are cut in store that we canceled a dinner reservation in favor of the goodies we bought at Super Food!

Great store that is clean and has everything you might need, we visited several times during our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. We came here at about 2:30pm on NYE, they had closed at 2pm but were having a New Year’s party outside for their staff with live music, drinks, etc. They were super welcoming and let everyone enjoy free drinks and a great live band. It was a fun experience and a real highlight of our trip. Parking lot can be kind of crazy; just be patient and you’ll be able to find a parking spot eventually, even when it’s really busy.

Do not stick to American brands! The mango chicken salad from the deli on a croissant from the bakery is a fantastic lunch! Staff are so sweet and helpful.

This was our go to grocery store while in Aruba. The center of the store is a charcuterie heaven. The selection was astounding! The bakery offers a large selection of fresh baked products. We loved the sandwich bread, mango chicken salad, and marinated meats. The store brand products were more reasonably priced and high quality. It's an island, everything is higher priced. The only downside is this place is completely chaotic at peak times; plan accordingly.

A large grocery store with a lot of options to choose from. Very busy as travelers get onto the island and stock up on supplies. Food, snacks, liquor, sunscreen, aloes. They have it all

Dec2023: 4⭐: I would recommend this store, but the location and the traffic congestion was horrible. The fact that this location was built with one major entrance/exit that meets near a traffic circle brings me to the thought that this traffic manager was either drinking on duty or drunk when he built the roadway surrounding this shopping center. I was able to get into the store parking lot with my small vehicle and family by getting through the enormous amount of traffic. I tried to make turns while in this parking area with all of the ground signs that were not capable of being understood nor legible from the small vehicle I was operating. I entered the front of the store and was a little bit confused about the flow of traffic so I went towards the bakery and began shopping. It appeared that the shelves were being constantly stopped by employees and there were equally a large amount of shoppers moving about the store purchasing items off these recently stocked shelves. It was good to see that the shells were being constantly replenished but this amount of activity added to the congestion up and down the aisles where shoppers were trying to grab and go as quickly as possible. This door appears to have a lot of popular items at reasonable prices. I did find that this store has small shopping baskets as well as shopping carts available for use. This store does not give out bags so you will have to bring your own. There were a number of workers standing by to bag your items as well as their work cashiers available for those picking up several smaller items. The store did have pre-made pizzas, sandwiches, lunch, meat, and the variety of things that visitors could use to prepare for a day on the beach. There were a multiple number of cashiers available when it came time to check out.

I’m taking away a star only because it is so busy and crowded. Not their fault but it makes the trip longer and takes away from the experience. Don’t ask whether super food is busy right now, it always is. That being said, they have a tremendous variety of both packaged food and fresh food. A wonderful bakery with an assortment of fresh baked breads, sliced meat, sliced cheese, fish, frozen food. Anything you can think of. They happen to be out of sparkling water today, but they probably have had a very busy tourist weekend. We have been to their large competitor that starts with an L but just don’t like it as much the environment or the selection. There is a real pharmacy and a health and beauty aid and cosmetics type store as well as a well stocked liquor store.
