Super Hotel

Out first stop in Japan and Kyoto. This hotel worked well for us. Its a hotel with a hostel vibe,. ||||Rooms: small, felt like living on a boat. A suitcase would not fit, the bathroom was a small step up/over capsule module, full room shower. Clean and equipped to sleep like if you were on a boat. ||||Food: Breakfast was a nice fresh mostly japanese items, machine coffee and drinks. all good. Happy hour was very hostel-vibe. they put out bottles of very good alcohol, including local sake and people served themselves and hung out after a long day.||||Onsen: Clean nice onsen on first floor. ||||Laundry: well equipped.||||Location: FANTASTIC. quiet location on alley steps away from Nishiki, JL Rail, Shopping. Literally 2-4 minutes to anything.||||Service: Staff was very ryoken helpful and kind. they made out first impression of Japanese Hospitality awesome.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Kyoto at this Super Hotel. It was clean and quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. Rooms were small but that is to be expected in Japan. The only complaint we had was about the pillows. We only had one long-ish Japanese-style pillow for 2 of us in our room. It didn't even span the full width of the bed. The hotel provides a selection of pillows in the lobby you can choose from but every single day we went they were gone before we can get one. I think every room should at least have 2 pillows, especially when you're booking a double room for 2 people. ||Outside of that, we loved the happy hour and breakfast. It was a perfect stay and a great location!

街から近い⋯ It's close to the shopping arcade and convenience stores, so you can choose from a variety of options for dinner. However, it's a bit of a walk from the station to the hotel, so you'll need an umbrella if it's raining. It's also a bit hard to find, as it's at the back of the road. The rooms are clean, the WiFi is fast, and you can hold online meetings. The breakfast is delicious, but it's a bit crowded. It's best to plan a little longer for breakfast.

Super Hotel had great service and exceptional staff working there. Although, a little unsure how to get to the 3rd floor originally, everything after that was super easy to understand. Breakfast from 7am to 9am Onsen spa for females separated from males at different times. Custom memory foam pillows for men and women and pyjamas / night clothing too. Slippers, fresh towels daily, everything was clean and organized. Heated toilets in Japan will always be my favourite highlight. Something very small. But amazing. Breakfast had a great selection and just everyone was happy, professional, kind and smiling. Felt very welcome. We appreciate the hospitality. If our other hotel was refundable we would have stayed here for two more days!!!

I thought for the price and location it was great. And then having the Onsen and lots of veggies for breakfast every morning to be extra! I had friends staying in more expensive hotels with minimal breakfasts. And the staff is great so warm, and welcoming. They also helped me send me luggage to the airport and not have to fill out that scary form in Japanese. So grateful. That includes the breakfast staff, they were bright and warm.

Very nice staff and good amenities, but the other guests ruined it for me. There's only one sento (shared between men and women at different times), so it can get a bit crowded at times. You'd think that with several signs pointing it out, people would wash themselves *before* entering the public bath, but some guys just walk straight in, completely dry. Because of such a lack of hygiene, I can't recommend anyone to use it.

For us it had a top location. Very neat, fresh design. Good breakfasts. Onsen inside! Welcome bar and everything else you can expect from Super hotel. Quite a small rooms though, as always.

Perfect location for a 3 night stay in Kyoto during cherry blossom for a wedding. Bus stop right nearby to/from Kyoto station. Nice onsen, great buffet breakfast, free drinks at the bar 6-8pm. Special shout out to the lovely front desk staff going above and beyond every day. Cheers.
