I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Nara Train Station, with bus stops to various attractions nearby, as well as department stores and restaurants. However, the sign outside the hotel says "SUPER HOTEL PREMIER," while I booked "SUPER HOTEL LOHAS," which initially confused me when looking for the hotel.||The hotel's selling point is the onsen (hot spring) facility, but I didn't use it, so I can't comment on that aspect. The hotel staff were friendly, but the service was average. The pillow options I requested during the booking were not prepared before my check-in, and I had to get them myself after checking in. Some of the pillows had a strange smell. Additionally, the floor I stayed on had a lingering odor similar to an old kitchen, which made me feel uncomfortable.||The STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM I stayed in had ample space, but the design was extremely poor. The room had no wardrobe, only a few hangers on the wall. There was also no luggage rack provided, so I had to place my luggage directly on the floor. ||The bathroom was small, and the biggest issue was the high step inside the bathroom. This kind of raised bathroom floor is common in Japan, but I had never seen such a high step before. It was inconvenient to step over it, especially for elderly people, children, or someone like me who was already tired from walking a lot.||The room had a mini bar, hairdryer, and power outlets, but they didn't provide bottled water like other hotels. The view from my room faced a black wall of another building, so there was no view to speak of, making the room appear darker. The breakfast options were limited, but the quality was decent. The dining area had a good view.|Therefore, I feel it's a pity that the room had ample space but lack of tourist-friendly design and amenities. I think it's more suitable for business travelers than tourists.
