Super Silly Fun Land

One of the standout aspects of Super Silly Fun Land is its relaxed atmosphere. Unlike some of the more popular attractions in the park, this area doesn’t have overwhelming crowds, making it easier for parents to supervise their little ones and capture memorable photos without the hassle of long lines. It’s a refreshing spot to take a break from the busier sections of the park and let the kids enjoy age-appropriate activities.

This is a great place to be with kids during summer time. You need to have Universal Studios tickets to get in this area. When planning a park visit make sure to have towel and extra clothes or bathing suit for your little ones. You also need SHOES to play in this water area. No bare foot allowed.

My 6 y/o enjoyed her time at Super Silly Fun Land. We brought her swimwear and let her play while we rest from stroll at the park. They have big buckets of water which pour every 5 minutes or so so just watch out where you sit and wait.

Super fun area for Kids and toddlers! Fun, water splash park and changing restrooms available. Younger infants and toddlers can ride the silly ride which is very fun! There is a little park as well for toddlers which is a great way for them to have fun. Such a great area in the park with amazing views.

We love Universal Studios. Thank you so much for the fun my Grandson had at the Super Silly Fun Land their is so much to do for him. My grandson had a blast. We loved getting on all the rides and the food was outstanding. See you again.😀

Very well-designed little water play place inside Universal. Probably not a reason to buy tickets in and of itself, but if you have an annual pass, bringing your kid with their swim clothes and playing in water is a good time!

Beautiful place for toddlers, it is worth having the annual pass so you can come many times!

This area is awesome for little ones (ages 2 - 6). It has a small playground and a good sized splash pad with dozens of stations that dump, squirt, and drip water. Good amount of bench seating for parents with varying amounts of shade depending on time of day. Area is very well maintained and cleaned periodically throughout the day.

Super Silly Fun Land at Universal Studios Hollywood is a great place to stop and take a break from some of the theme park rides and stores! We stopped by Super Silly Fun Land on our latest adventure at Universal Studios Hollywood, on a Thursday, early February. The area didn't have too many people visiting at the time. There's a lot of interactive activities in Super Silly Fun Land. It's Minion-inspired by Illumination's Despicable Me. There are approximately 80 different water activities that you can do here! Some of those activities include a splash pad, climbing, and sliding! There is a ride here as well, Silly Swirly, that you can soar above the theme park for a 360-view of Super Silly Fun Land. It reminded me of the Dumbo ride in Disneyland California. There is also a minion dedicated store inside Super Silly Fun Land called Super Silly Stuff. You'll find all minion type merchandise and apparel! There are some additional memorabilia items like key chains and mugs that are offered as well! Don't forget to check out the arcade game inside Super Silly Fun Land too! You can try to win the Minion game prizes or even your own Unicorn Plushie!

Located next to Minion Mayhem, at the exit of the ride is this play zone area the entire family could enjoy. With inspiration from the Despicable Me movie, this section includes the ride Silly Swirly Fun Ride, a medium speed soaring outdoor ride that glides around, up and down. There is also the splash pad, climbing and sliding apparatus and the Super Silly Space Killer game. There is also a merchandise store and cafe to purchase food and snacks.

For kids mostly!! Super Silly Fun Land at Universal Studios Hollywood is great for kids! It's just a fun area of the park. I do usually skip it, because I'm an adult. However, it's still fun because the rides are so simplistic. There are Minions everywhere! You are sure to find great Minion gifts here. The area can get pretty crowded. I think many people come over to Super Silly Fun Land before or after they go to Despicable Me or The Secret Life of Pets. Those rides are right next to the Super Silly Fun Land. This is a nice place for kids to hangout and have fun. It might not be as exciting for adults. Every now and then, I like to come here and check out the water park. Sometimes if it is really hot at Universal Studios, I will run through the water park to cool down lol I can't be the only adult that does this lolol

Pretty silly, always super, and mostly fun! Super silly fun land comes out on top with 4 stars. There are plenty of things to do and see here. They have games with prize win guarantee, gift shops, and water park experiences galore. I think this land could improve by adding a ride for adults (and kids) in here. Since this area is kid only... and also draws a lot of adults it would be cool to add to the mix. The trash cans here are cute cause they're shaped like the characters. This is a very sunny part of the theme park and probably one of the most crowded areas. This place is nice to walk through and enjoy a little dose of minions.

This is the funniest land of them all. Minion themed with a free water park! It's centered around kids, but it's super silly and fun like the name suggests. Lots of games (though you have to pay, like a fair that comes to town), a meet and greet area, food area, and a shop. Really well designed and fun to walk through.

If you have a smaller one on your Universal Studios Hollywood, this is a great interactive area to take them. A personal skip for me as an adult, but I can see the appeal for the littles.

Definitely more for kids but walked through here to the despicable me ride. Lots of fun and laughs and vibrant colors everywhere and it's very silly. Got to check it out while You're in the park!

This was super adorable. I would've spent more time here but there wasn't much to do without having little kids with you. Still, I made sure to get lots of pictures.

Toddler and husband got to experience the water park at this land recently, and they enjoyed themselves. So much fun to have some play time in the water on a hot summer day. Definitely bring that swim suit, so you can maximize the water features here. Saw the minion characters twice while at the land; they are so cute, haha. We will be back to try the other kiddie rides next time!

Super Silly Fun Land is great for kids. Especially young kids who aren't tall enough for the rides yet. My youngest daughter to begin with loves minions. But this area of universal is like heaven to her. It kind of sucks she cant even go on rides with adults since shes too young. So this area is perfect for her. They love to get drenched in the water area. Great during the summer especially when its hot. We came here on a cold day as well and the water was actually turned off. Which is awesome because we don't want our kids catching colds. And great for adults to walk through the area with kids when its not wet! The playground area is nice too. There is an employee who supervises the area which is good because they make sure kids aren't going too crazy there when parents aren't looking. Very kid friendly and this is always a stop I have to make in the park whenever I'm here so my youngest doesn't feel left out for not being able to go on the rides with her older sister. Great way to drench the kids in the summer. Bring a change of clothes for them and let the brats loose. This place is a hoot. Loads of dump buckets and a decently safe stairway palace. Spritzers, sprayers and water ploppers everywhere. Beware there's a giant automatic filling bucket up top! I soaked my socks and Converses as a sacrificial foot blistering, following my toddler up and down and all around to see for myself. After my soaked assessment, I can honestly attest that silly fun land is a place where a parent can post themselves up by the entrance and just let the kids be kids without worry of slip or fall. The entrance of this play house is surrounded by seating benches that narrows at the entrance so you won't have to worry about your offspring getting lost. Whew! Also there is a conveniently placed expensive Minions branded beachware stand right in front. 27.99 for kids swim trunks?! Ingenious Universal! Mwuah ha ha! Cha-ching. Kids can't help but want to get in on the thousands of gallons being blasted at this playground. There is no sight of a drought in California here, really. I'm sure they use some kind of repumping system. Great for ages 2.5 - 10 I'd say. Heck I'd want to play there on any hot day.

This place is great for kids to run around and jump around after or before the Dispicable Me ride! I have played some of the carnival games before and some minions and it is a lot of fun! there are some mini rides for kids as well and a giant water play ground for the summer

Super Silly Fun Land is new to me since I hadn't been back to Universal in a few years. I loved that it was so immersed with "Minions" stuff as well as having an area for kids/adults to get soaked in a water play area. The gift shops & all the wet areas were definitely drenched in Minion decorations and also themes. I love that they had Kiosks which sold swimsuits (great marketing Universal) and I nagged a Minion swimsuit for my little one who was left back home. Super fun if you brought your little one but remember to bring a change of clothes or risk them being soaking wet.

After getting out of the Minion ride, you'll be herded through the gift shop then exit into Super Silly Fun Land. If you have really young kids this is where you'll spend most of your time. There's a big splash pad area where your kids will get soaked plus a ride and other play sets, along with some carnival games.

Not much to do , but if you have 1-4 year olds, they will love it. small theme park for the toddlers, but sometimes bigger kids are playing too because of the water playground. I will bring back my family again before the summer ends!

Love this place for my toddler kiddo. You can spend at least 2 to 4 hours having a ball here. The water splash pad is just superb. Plan to visit again soon

Great place for the kids to get wet & have fun. Bring your bathing suits, towels & water shoes. They are strict about wearing shoes in water area. I wish there were more seats around water area. The small playground is good for small children & plenty of space for parents to sit & relax. The water mist above feels great on a hot day. There's a minion store nearby & the minions walk around so you can take pictures. There are several employees in play area with hula hoops supervising.

SO MUCH FUN!!!! So happy that we got a season pass! Will be using the heck out of it when the block out dates subside, tourists slow down and school gets back in session! This will be a heaven send this September when it's typically the hottest time of the year in SoCal!!

I had visited Universal Studios this past weekend after 7 years. And I found that Universal has changed so much and have so many attractions and rides for kids including toddlers ages (2-5). One of the amazing attraction or area is the Super Silly Fun land that has a great area for children's play area, rides and water park. The big child play area is an amazing area where parents can take a small break by sitting and watching their kids play in the area... although this is the notion I think the play area needs a huge improvement in the boundaries. My biggest concern is that it's not enclosed. Kids get on the slide and return to go back on the slide running.. they miss direction and keep running into the walkway... and go straight towards the waterpark and the buggy ride... My kid (3 years) did the same. If it was not for me and my husbands attention we would have missed him in the crowd. Even though we were both watching them from either sides.. the play area would be a better place if parents feel safe in the enclosed area. This was not just my experience. I spent almost 45 minutes in the area and noticed that two other families also lost track of their kids and was calling out the child's name in search for her and was looking for her in the walkway. I humbly request that you look into this design one more time and see if you can make it enclosed(like your Dino Kids area)
