I recently found myself at this Superdry store by Herald Square in Manhattan due to the renovation of the Time Square Superdry store. The 3-story store carries a large selection of sizes for all the current styles. I highly recommend first time shoppers to visit the actual physical store as sizing is very different at Superdry. I typically wear L/XL sizes, but I am a 3XL at Superdry (since all the clothes are so slim fitting). I find myself most frequently purchasing winter clothing from Superdry since Superdry's winter clothing are both stylish and functional. You'll definitely stand out on the slopes with Superdry clothes in the sea of North Face and Columbia gears. I really appreciate the laid-back attitude of the staff at Superdry stores: helpful when you need it, but leaves you alone otherwise.

Great store with big variety of jackets and coats. Like the quality of the clothes and the design. If you are looking for a warm and cozy winter parka this is the store to go.

Great selection of clothes, great friendly staff with customer service skills. Didn't pick out anything for myself but my wife got herself a new coat. We usually like the quality of this brand so knew it would be good, and it seems to be a little cheaper than in the UK so that was a nice bonus...

The layout of the store is a bit crowded. A lot of the clothing this store is self promoting. (I don't need a shirt that says the stores name on it) The quality of the clothing appeared to be good but nothing caught my eye on my visit.

The Broadway location was way better. Very expensive for an old designer line. Nor even close to what it should be in Graphical design.

Sad to see super dry go. Everything in store is an extra 50 percent off. Lots of things already very marked down plus additional 50 off. Some great deals. Lots of jackets and cotton tees.

All of the one-star reviews I see here correspond perfectly with the loathsome in-store customer service I experienced today. While I asked a saleswoman to check on a size for me, a young, wiry salesman (dark hair) brusquely told me to move aside so he could fold the shirts in front of me. His manner was hostile and peevish, like a teenager who couldn't be bothered. At first I thought he was joking, because what salesperson is THAT insolent to a customer? When I pointed out his unfriendly customer service, he edged into my personal space (i.e., looming too close for comfort) and suggested that he wasn't being paid enough to care. So I asked him to step away from my personal space, to which he responded that he was so close because I "didn't move" when he told me to. So I dropped the hundreds of dollars of merchandise I was readying to buy. I told both managers, who seemed contrite but also aware that this store has service problems. As Yelp commenter Dan K said in another review, and as the plethora of 1-star reviews here suggest, this store seems to have a "childishly mean" attitude. How can the local managers (both of whom said that they've been with the company close to ten years) -- and how can CEO Julian Dunkerton and his team -- not correct the customer service problem in this important Manhattan location? It is all over the news (e.g., Reuters, AP, Yahoo Finance) that the Superdry brand is "struggling". Here is some free business advice to new COO Shaun Packe: fix the well-documented customer service deficiency at your Manhattan flagship and maybe your brand might struggle a little less.

What the heck happened to this brand? This store had loud booming music, I thought we were in A&F. Staff not very helpful and purchases were essentially thrown in a bag, unfolded and I was sent on my way. I may not be their demographic and that's OK because I won't be back.

34th used to be the dreck of retail, a wasteland of cheap shoes and knock off purses. And Banana Rep. No longer, new fangled retailers have made land grabs kicking out squatters along the way. SuperDry... A Japanese Casual/Chic Sportwear company... monochrome colors with sleek textures and flourecent piping...faux fur lined parka collars and form fitting styles...kinda A$F, kinda UNIQLO...but different....Super Dry...is a well designed store...unique coolness... Cut to the chase, I had 10 things at the counter, a pile (sorry Macy's for all your wonder..) and I really really liked the stuff, most of it gifts...but then....a sinking feeling....something not right.... I decided that to come back, reevalute. I give the store high marks for showing Gap what trendsetting is. My first impression was I really liked their outerwear windbreakrs style - silver fox sheen with orange piping...but compared to the Mammut I was wearing mine was better quality. The parka I was thinking about for my daughter was $159, enough that I might be better off heasing to REI. I'll come back. Cool = 4 strz Quality = to be determined on higher priced items Experience = similar to A&F but better, fresh... U B the Judge. I liked it.

The woman working on the second floor today (dark hair) was unusually obnoxious, insulting, and childishly mean. Avoid. I'm pretty easy-going and not thin-skinned. Everyone has a bad day and I appreciate that but she should be reviewed or reprimanded or given a warning for how meanly and horribly she speaks to customers.

Used to visit this place a lot until the new management decided to add policy where there is 0 discount offers and 0 military discount. The manager Zach was absolutely rude and just straightforwardly did not want to help out at all and still told us that the store did not allow any discount of whatsoever. Queens Mall Superdry and SoHo still offers promotions. Better try those places instead.

Wasted too much time in there looking for something to buy only to find out they won't price match the online store price even though they did two days earlier. Online store purchases have no full refund with US stores. Having done a size test within the store, sizing can be inconsistent. Otherwise there are some neat pieces within the collections.

This store has some pretty good deals and some cool clothes. Definitely a good spot to grab some quality T's or hoodies. Got myself a backpack and tshirt.

i went to this superdry today.. once u walked inside the store. their someone greeting u? say how many % this & that? i was down stairs? this chinese staff came up to me. told me polo is 30% or something? i forget what he said? while i was looking around. i notice this guy chinese staff follow me like wtf? i don't feel uncomfortable u following me around? i have no freedom to look around & shop? it felt strange& weird at the same time. i'm not having fun shopping? so i went back up stairs & leave? he came up to me said find something u like? i said no? in my mine i want to curse him out than forget it. why do u follow me around like i'm going to steal something? is that how u treat us? he is like from high school or something less than 5 inch.. he told me he speak manderin i don't know his name. not a good looking guy.. if i want superdry i go century 21 clothing store better yet shop online. i'm not coming back here if i go to a retail store i want to left alone don't want no one to greet me or ask for help? if i need something i would ask u?

One of my worst experience in a store...I lost 3 hours to change a defective item they din't have anymore in the store downtown. They called this store in front of me to keep this item for a next day pickup (they took my name for reservation)... When I went to pick up my T shirt, they didn't have it anymore, the manager told me they don't have any reservation, he was not in the store the day before, bla bla bla! So simple to tag the item and to put it in the big closet they have at their checkout... Apparently, they prefer people to lose their time... INCOMPETENT...

3 floors of Superdry. This store is awesome. I've been wearing their jackets for years. Their signature product, the windcheater jackets are excellent. They're light, warm, and made of good materials. My only complaint on the windcheater jackets are the pockets. The pockets are extremely small, items can easily fall out. the 3 zipper design Superdry has on a majority of their jackets may look and seem ridiculous at first but come winter, it really keeps the cold out. The first layer inside zips all the way up to your neck. My second and minor complaint about Superdry jackets, the sizes run small! If you think you wear a medium, you probably need an XL. Trust me, these jackets run super duper small. I've also purchased a few messenger bags and hoodies here. The messenger bags are good for smaller size laptops or for large tablets. They're not a bulky design, very slim and lightweight. The hoodies are made of nice quality fabric. Select hoodies are currently 50% off. Verdict - Shop online. For some reason their online prices aren't always the same as their in store prices. I bought a windcheater jacket online for far less. I had to bring it here to exchange for a larger size and they originally wanted me to pay the difference but luckily the manager was there to honor my purchase price online. Also, if you purchase online and want to make a return to the store, they can only offer you store credit. I think money back, you would have to go through the website and mail it back to them because the item was shipped from the UK. Orders online we're also free expedited shipping by DHL. It arrived a lot sooner than I expected. My biggest advice when shopping at Superdry, aim for larger sizes for comfort. If I had a choice between The North Face or Superdry, I would choose Superdry because 1. Their prices are way better. 2. Quality. 3. Their stores in the city are also convenient for exchanges.

Cashier made me go upstairs to ring up my sandals and and as i was standing there waiting to buy my stuff the cashier was in a deep conversation about him going to Germany and his girl was from Germany and a whole bunch of dumb stuff while I'm still there waiting. first time there and will be my last. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Ill just order online.

First time going into a Superdry store. Poor customer service. I ask a sale associate for a certain size and she said she will check with the guy in the back. I waited 5 minutes and no one got back to me so I went to ask again and she told me no they didn't have it. Wonder if I didn't ask her how long would I have been waiting. I would understand if it was busy but it was not. I wouldn't go back there as staff seems disinterested and not helpful. I visited the time square location right after and staff was a lot more helpful there.

i would give 0 point if i could. I thought the design of the clothes was cool so i got here. But their service is soooo awful!!! I didn't get any help except the bag, they kept saying "my name is XXX let them know i helped you" I was like, wtf!! The worst part is, the cashier didn't get me receipt. i thought he forgot so i asked for it. The other guy was like "Don't give her the receipt" The cashier "i didn't want to" in front of me!!!! What the hell is this!!! The first and worst experience ever!!! Don't come to this place!!!

had a indian guy literally take the things I was trying to buy out my hand n give it to the cashier ( as if I was trying to steal) !! They didn't have much of a high selection of summer stuff when its hot outside dont come here
